Oct 12, 2017After the disappointing and short installment that was Episode 3, Guardians of the Galaxy and Telltale fans can breathe a sigh of relief because Telltale has redeemed themselves. Episode 4 is much more fulfilling than its prior episode in both length and content, with weighty decisions to be made and lives to possibly be changed forever. We also get more glimpses at the Guardians' past, and these sequences are done well and will evoke emotion. The gameplay also hits a high note in this episode with several escape and combat scenes set to more classic songs from Peter Quill's mix tape. Telltale still struggles outside of their signature quick time event sequences, so the parts when you need to walk around and interact with things are as awkward as ever. But, finally, we're getting somewhere in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series' fourth episode.

Oct 13, 2017Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode Four: Who Needs You gets Telltale's episodic series back on track thanks to humorous dialogue, excellent characterization and a conclusion that will leave fans itching for the next episode.
-
Oct 17, 2017The fourth episode of Telltale Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the best episodes of the series yet. Your choices have an impact on the story and with an epic killer track by Queen, you'll get to the end in no time.
-
Oct 12, 2017No matter your decisions up to this point in the story, the end of Episode Four does its most important job – puts our leads into dire personal conflict as we head into the last act, making it seem impossible that they can ever pull things together and win the day. If we lose some of the lighthearted fun this time, I’m willing to withhold judgment and see if it all pays off with some big twists in the conclusion.
-
Nov 26, 2017By diverting the story into a seemingly minor "cave escape" sequence, it surprisingly delivers plenty of emotions and ends up becoming quite an important episode in the scheme of things. The same old menial gameplay features here, though, with some uninspiring sequences to endure in order to get to the meaty parts of this character-driven story.
-
Nov 6, 2017Nothing could come close to the climax of episode three, but episode four manages to offer a better all-round experience.
-
Oct 19, 2017Who Needs You? Is definitely the worst episode in the Guardians of the Galaxy series. There is no progress in the story and most of the time, you’ll experience repetitive and predictable events happening in the same locations. The only positive to look forward to is the ending that can affect the future episodes for good.
