    "As part of the game's announcement at Comic-Con, executive producer Mike Jones indicated these re-releases wouldn't be proper remasters, saying, "We wanted these re-releases to be as faithful to the original Ultimate Alliance games as possible--the definitive versions."

    You know what would be more faithful to the original releases? Backwards compatibility.     You know what would be more faithful to the original releases? Backwards compatibility. If you aren't going to take the time to do a remaster why should I pay you $40 for a game I still own on disc? And I don't even get to keep my DLC...

    *This is NOT Remaster= it's a backwards compatable game..
    BUT Activision wouldn't accept or get FULL PRICE that way... ***The Good News= ~The Game doesn't have any issues..ran smooth & didn't freeze once.. *The GOLD edition DLC is included...:):):) *There is nothing else to add because the game is the same as the original PS2 THE NEGATIVE $$$ Why are you    GREEDY ACTIVISION!!!

    ~I bought this for Xbox < over< PS4 cause it was on-sale on Xbox live for $20 off the combo 2 pack of part 1+2,,,,but that is still BS! Esp since 75% are the same customer gamers who bought it for the 360...
    ***The Graphics are Very Dated....Like PS2 dated..im ignoring the graphics.....
    Atleast it's not pixelated garbage or Lego garbage or Telltale garbage CrapyCrap.....

    ***Marvel Ultimate ALliance 3 needs to be DC Ultimate ALliance 3..
    OR if it stays Marvel= it has to be a storyline that aligns the good and bad guys against other good + bad guys....Like Injustice Gods Among Us Comic book series..

    ***I sadly bouight MUA part 2 in this deal. and I couldn't even come close to finishing that game....
    The concept of Iron Man blasting WOlverine and him redirecting it SUCKS!!! That's not what comic gamers want...
    ***This brings me to DC Universe Online= if you have never played DCUO= You are lucky and in for a treat..
    esp cause level 0 to 30 is some awesome,addicting fun...It's the high level of DCUO that sucks...
    and it only sucks because you haveta fully comprehend the math of youre stats and how to manage them to have a high CR(Combat Rating) MMORPG's always do this BS with CombatRatings...
    if the reboot DCUO= ILL RETURN.....

    Marvel Ultimate ALliance part 1 is worth it to play again,,,but Activision is overchargiung us...

    I have to rate this game 2 times. 1 for the game. 2 for the price. I rate this game as an 8 for it's content. But Activision decided to release both 10 year old games and instead of being listed as backwards compatible , they are "new" and asking for a new game AAA price. That price gouging should get a 0, but the game is solid as a co-op super hero rpg beat em up, and that practice shouldI have to rate this game 2 times. 1 for the game. 2 for the price. I rate this game as an 8 for it's content. But Activision decided to release both 10 year old games and instead of being listed as backwards compatible , they are "new" and asking for a new game AAA price.     Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a dungeon crawler beat em up where you play as your choice of 4 marvels heroes, or a mix with online or local co-op out of 25 different characters to be unlocked with collectibles , secrets and story progression.
    You team up of course to stop doom from doing his usually doom thing of trying to take over the world…
    your journey to stop him will take your characters to a variety of locations like Atlantis and asguard…
    unfortunately while the scenery does change at a decent pace, the gameplay doesn’t…
    This game is a monotonous and ridiculously long 17 hours…
    During this 17 hours you do the dungeon crawl thing of just killing everything for fairly minimal loot with very much welcomed but too thinly spread out puzzle and platforming sections …
    Bosses will drop rings for stat boosts, but that’s about it…
    There no real incentive to explore or even defeat all enemies other than unlocking new characters as leveling up doesn’t seem too significant... and if you have your favorite 4 unlocked, why even bother finding these hidden figures…
    As you level up your stats unnoticeably increase and you unlock new moves that you can assign to a button command.. you can also unlock suits by using characters or completing a comic mission hidden throughout the world…
    These optional comic missions tell the story of one individual character to give more insight on them to new fans and hit that nostalgia button of existing fans of characters.. And as stated already, completing these missions successfully will unlock a new suit for your character... and thankfully these suits are not just skins... they all have their own special perks which will actually give you a hard time choosing from… and you can upgrade these perks with the coins that enemies drop.. but again it doesn’t really feel too significant….
    Combat in this game is fairly basic, but characters do all handle and feel unique, some can fly, some have projectiles, some are straight up brutes… if you get too bored, which you definitely will, you can switch out your team at any time when you run into a save point…
    there’s also over 17 boss battles and mini boss battles in this game… but are essentially either a straight up beat em up brawl or dodge attacks and do a quick time event…. Which are surprisingly some of the more better boss fights as they throw in a splash of variety… but really aren’t that great and don’t require any real strategy…
    While Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a great love letter to the marvel fans, packed with material that even I can appreciate while not being a marvel fan.. I feel like the game drags on and keeps you in its lackluster locations far too long, ultimately making this game feel like a drag...
    That being said, if you’re a marvel fan I still believe this game is worth your money

    Marvel Ultimate Alliance is great game on the Xbox one and ps4 but PC is a different story but this about the Xbox one version of the game. on Xbox one it runs nicely but there is no dlc which is not good and if dlc was going to be on any console it would probably be on the Xbox one version because all the dlc when the game was first release the dlc was only on Xbox 360.     It's the same great game that you'll remember from the XBox 360 with the DLC characters included. The graphics are a bit better and the game runs silky smooth on my XBox One, and it's an absolute joy to play, but it's essentially unchanged since the original versions. The cut-scenes in particular are extremely dated and almost laughable in parts.

    But if you enjoyed the first game and/or    It's the same great game that you'll remember from the XBox 360 with the DLC characters included. The graphics are a bit better and the game runs silky smooth on my XBox One, and it's an absolute joy to play, but it's essentially unchanged since the original versions. The cut-scenes in particular are extremely dated and almost laughable in parts.

    But if you enjoyed the first game and/or just feel like some great dungeon-crawling, superhero action, it's definitely worth picking up, especially if you can get it on sale.    … Expand
