    Mad Streets is a crazy physics-based arena brawler. With an array of levels to tackle, massive fighters to take down, and ridiculous tasks to overcome, it'll keep you busy. Furthermore, it is great fun with friends and this makes the lack of an online community a real disappointment.

    There just isn’t that much to Mad Streets. You’ve seen everything it has to offer within the space of an hour. Playing with friends and laughing for a bit at the idea of “haha! That character fell down funny!” gets old insanely fast, and it does so even quicker when playing alone. Not to mention that even when you manage to make a hit connect in a way that you actually wanted it to, it’s as satisfying as wiping someone’s face with a rubber chicken.

    'Mad Streets' is a perplexing game to review, as for me it is a mixed bag. I stumbled upon this title on the Xbox store, and purchased this game by accidental glitch for $10. I didn't intend to, but I thought I may as well try it out before claiming my refund. And that is the perfect way to describe my thoughts on the game; not something I'd intend to buy, but not something I entirely hate.

    This game is an oddball. It is a clunky fighting game that is very slow combat wise, with consistent glitches. There's also not much to do other than a single or multiplayer campaign of brawling or completing various tasks. On Paper, this game is absolutely atrocious. And a lot of it is.

    But this game has charm. Real charisma. The game doesn't take itself seriously, and from time to time, I enjoy beating up some random CPU in the middle of a pub, or brawling in the middle of a cruise ship. The best thing about the game is the randomness. You'll go from funky combat in odd locations, to washing a car before accidentally throwing a CPU off a cliff. Or friend, depending on who you play with.

    If you expect a technical masterpiece fighting simulation with clean technique and minimal glitches with lots to do, this isn't at ALL for you. But if you want mindless entertainment for a little while, this game could be for you. And for $10, I can't complain. Worth the price and nothing more.    … Expand
