    Lovely Planet is an artistic game that is very simple as it is difficult. The amazing art style creates an atmosphere that helps you smile a little bit. This is worth a couple dollars, and you should definitely buy it should the game be on sale.

    Gameplay
    The gameplay is highly simplistic, you have a semi-automatic gun and a high ass jump. You have to kill all baddies on the map to add to your score and complete the level. The maps can be pretty complicated but there is always a view of the map before you can even begin. The fast paced and easy difficulty can provide a lot for you. DO NOT let that fool you, as the levels progress, and the worlds progress there is always something new and it gets difficult. It is definitely for those who wish to have a quick and fun game.
    Graphics
    There isn't much in this department, but it still looks pretty damn good. The colorful levels and bright imagery just makes you want to smile. One of the most notable details is the lack of textures. You're usually just on a color (mainly green and blue) traveling through hills and the skies.
    Replay Value
    There (in my opinion) has a lot of replay value due to the scoring system. You need to pass a certain time, kill all enemies, and not miss one bullet to get a 3 star score. It is actually very easy to pull off, but your first play through might be just for fun.
    VERDICT
    Lovely Planet is an amazingly crafted game for what it is. It has an extremely simplistic style that could fit for many people. It does indeed get very difficult as time progresses but that should be overlooked for its very addicting nature.    … Expand
