The story isn’t far beyond decent but the way it’s told is unique. It might not be something you spend a lot of hours in but the time you do spend with it will be quite enjoyable.

A short and sweet space adventure – just don’t stick around after the credits roll. [Issue#181, p.88]

The amount of options available for our character is amazing, and will make us to be careful with our actions if we want to beat the world record.

Lost Orbit : Terminal Velocity, is a unique and breathtaking adventure on the edge of the galaxy. Lost Orbit was initially released in 2015,Lost Orbit : Terminal Velocity, is a unique and breathtaking adventure on the edge of the galaxy. Lost Orbit was initially released in 2015, and Terminal Velocity revives the game with cleaner visuals and sounds. You play as Harrison, a transmission relay repair man, on his usual route at the edge of the known galaxy, when his ship is destroyed by passing debris. You then embark on what would be an Impossible task, navigate several systems jump gates and get home, in just your Space Suit. Hang on to your helmet because it's going to be a wild ride. The game is narrated by a data drone, Harrison later dubs "Atley" after his timely rescue, and introduction. I found the narrative intriguing, and deep, as Atley explores Harrison and his psyche. You play by drifting along the asteroids, using dwarf planets of different varieties to propel yourself along, sometimes at ridiculously fast speeds. The level design is amazing, and visually stunning. Game play is immersive and fun, and full of humor, Atley's coment's to your death are amusing. Speaking of death, as tragic as dying can be, it stay's fun, and has some interesting animations, I laughed at my own tragedies more than once. The score fits the atmosphere (or lack there of) perfectly, being almost zen at times, to high paced as you zip around narrowly avoiding deadly collisions. The epilogue adds more, and slightly different game play, and unmasks Harrison! Grab your space suits, and this game! Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity is a work of art, with a few Easter Eggs floating around with you! Expand
