    Perhaps that reliance on simplicity is a bit too much with Loot Hero DX on Xbox. With more to offer or a few more stages, perhaps those shortcomings wouldn’t be too much of an issue. Sadly, the excellent presentation and well-balanced difficulty scaling can’t overcome a fundamental issue of repetitiveness that hurts further playthroughs.

    For its asking price Loot Hero DX to me is a game you can play if you don’t have anything to play and you’re just bored. Even so, I got bored playing after an hour after finishing almost everything. It’s a mindless game to play but for someone like me, it can’t keep my attention for long.

    Loot Hero DX is a easy game at first that slowly builds up its difficulty after each playthrough. You play as a Knight in    Nice little game

    Loot Hero DX is a easy game at first that slowly builds up its difficulty after each playthrough. You play as a Knight in this 8bit style CRT visual platform game. Basically its very easy to play, all you need to do is press the directional stick left or right and slay the knight will slay all the monsters etc by running into them. You will come across a number of buildings throughout each stage where you will be able to upgrade your Attack, Defence, Critical and Speed levels. The more enemies you kill and the more XP and Loot you collect the greater you Level will become and the more you will be able to upgrade.

    Each of the 9 levels has a Boss at the very end of its stage which if you upgraded well becomes very easy to defeat. If you do fall throughout the level or at the boss fight, you just need to revive by pressing the A button and then travel back throughout the stage building up your level and attributes.

    Overall its a very short game that adds good replay value. If your not good at playing with a controller then this game is for you!    … Expand
