The game doesn't have a story, instead, it gives you contracts to fill. These contracts require you produce a certain amount of product within a certain amount of time. The more of these you complete the more demanding they become, also the more equipped you should be to handle it. There is a lot going on in the management department. If you enjoy micromanaging tasks and seeing it be put into action then the Bluprint is going to thrill you. It's used to plot out each contract in a fair ammount of detail. Each of these contracts take 15 to 20 minutes usualy to complete, and you're going to go through similar steps to complete each task. You have 3 categories of Items, each with their own specialized machines. There are more universal machines, but they take longer to complete their task, they also cost less. Your Workers can also be specialized to specific tasks, making them more efficient, but cost more to maintain and keep happy. Little Big Workshop is a micromanagers dream, with a fairly intricate system. Expand

Little Big Workshop is a decent workshop simulation game and fans of this genre would enjoy it. However, I feel it could have done with a lot more hand-holding through the game for beginners. There are a lot of tools and tweaks that could be implemented to increase the efficiency of your workshop but with such a brief tutorial a lot of these will be missed and it will cause you to struggle.

Little Big Workshop, in general terms, is a great management game and it offers very well optimized version on consoles, with very well applied concepts and a simplicity in controls that makes it very friendly for any type of player.

Little Big Workshop on Xbox One is fun, first and foremost, and if a patch is released that fixes the issues in place I would definitely recommend picking it up. But until then, if you are unfortunate enough to encounter progress-halting bugs then you will most likely be forced to restart. And it doesn’t matter who you are, losing all of your progress to glitches isn’t fun.
