    Laser League should be the next big thing since Rocket League. It all really depends on the player base and how many dedicated players it will bring. There’s a lot to unlock here, and while it is complex at times, the main core gameplay is as simple as can be, which is what makes it so addicting to play. I highly suggest this game to anyone that likes team-based games with a little strategy. It’s fun, easy to pick up and play, and even more fun to master.

    Laser League’s simple concept belies a ton of hidden depth in its character classes and map-specific strategies—It’s the definition of easy to learn and hard to master, without requiring mechanical godliness to succeed. While its core mode is somewhat lacking in variety and its basic gameplay might get too repetitive for some players, it already feels like a concept that’s been around much longer than it has, and manages the tall order of balancing for casual and competitive gamers alike.

    Laser League has the potential to stand just as tall as other competitive multiplayer experiences, such as Rocket League. It’s fun, fast paced and constantly exciting throughout. The fact that it’s so easy to pick up and play makes it widely accessible, bolstered further by its unique and articulate foundation and design. This is a game of chaos, strategy and speed, unifying to produce a game that’s truly like no other.

    Laser League is fresh, new and exciting, and even though it emanates an obvious Tron vibe with its visuals, I applaud its innovativeness and accessibility for those looking for something different than what’s offered now in the competitive landscape.

    Laser League is typically the kind of game which is enjoyable for a few minutes, before it reveals its own weakness: repetition, mostly due to a lack of depth. Which is sad, because its main idea is really cool.

    Laser League is a game that I’ve heard a lot of good things about and because of that I played for a few hours a couple of months ago on myLaser League is a game that I’ve heard a lot of good things about and because of that I played for a few hours a couple of months ago on my friends PC and to say I enjoyed it would be a massive understatement. As you can imagine I was thrilled to learn it was coming to the Xbox One and thankfully it’s a game I can see me playing for a very long time. Without a doubt this game is super addictive and the amount of replayability on this game is almost endless, and the best thing is that it never seems to get boring. The reason it doesn’t get boring is because every match you play is completely different and it keeps on surprising you, which is great. Everybody can enjoy this game because they’ve made the gameplay very simple to understand and the featured easy to pick up and play style doesn’t have any flaws. This is mainly down to the fantastic controls that have been implemented. Everything about the controls remained tight and responsive throughout and they keep everything simple yet very effective. You may have noticed that I’ve used the word simple quite a few times, but don’t worry because the game will definitely provide you with a challenge as well. I suspect you would expect the challenging moments to be frustrating then, but that couldn’t be more wrong because not once did I become frustrated and instead it just remained fun and enjoyable at all times. It’s especially fun when played with friends and the game definitely rewards you working together as a team. The teamwork in the game is absolutely brilliant and to top it off there are a number of different moves and classes for you to try out. I was especially impressed with the classes in the game because each one has a lot of variety and this keeps things fresh throughout. In terms of gripes I don’t really have too many. I would’ve liked a few more maps and I would’ve liked the maps to have a little more variety, but I was easily able to look past this due to the fantastic gameplay. I would’ve also liked a little more variety when it came to the presentation side of the game as well, but they don’t do anything seriously wrong here. The visuals and sound design are not bad it’s just that they can become a little boring after a while. At the end of the day Laser League is an absolutely brilliant game and I’m very excited to see how the game evolves over the coming months. I haven’t been this excited about a game of this ilk since Rocket League and with more content and a little bit more work I can see this being as big as Rocket League.
