It still has charm and invention - but in shorter supply than the preceding episode. It's also stymied by a claustrophobic, repetitive environment that leans on to-and-fro busywork. [March 2016, p.84]

The optimist in me wants to think this is a misstep, but even if we see a big improvement in the next episode, I’m not sure it'll be enough to keep me invested in this series. "A Knight to Remember" was flawed but showed a lot of promise — promise that is almost entirely squandered by "Rubble Without A Cause."

Although King’s Quest Chapter 2 – Rubble Without A Cause is lacking the wonder of the first episode, it did have some nice moments such as old King Graham and his grandchildren plus some very nice graphics as he explores the labyrinth of the Goblins.
