King Oddball seems to constantly transmit some sort of secret message to your brain demanding that you give it one last try.

Yes this game is definitely worth the money if the game sounds appealing to you. It’s definitely much better than many of the games in the same genre, and it does a good job of standing out and making sure you know that it’s not a clone of Angry Birds. However a thought was constantly playing on my mind as I played the game, and it still is. Should someone play this on a console?

For some, the gameplay might get a little too repetitive too quickly, and the amount of luck that comes into it means that this game probably will make you angry along the way. If you can get past the need for trial and error, and just take this game as a bit of fun, then no doubt your journey with the King will be an enjoyable one.

If Angry Birds is your cup of tea, then King Oddball will be there to fill your cup. It’s very addictive.

Simple and captivating with an easygoing pricetag. This is very OK with us.

Although King Oddball is repetitive and becomes frustrating with poor level design and the reliance on luck over strategy, there are a few redeeming factors including additional game modes, that actually make the game a decent value for the price. For less than $5, you can play an indie version of Angry Birds, with controls that are even more simple.

Like many mobile rooted games, King Oddball features a very simple premise that is easy to pick up, but a real lack of level variety holds it back from being a really good game.

King Oddball is a game that loses its luster really quickly. What could have been a surprisingly clever play on the Angry Birds formula ends up being a dull affair by its lack of variety, weak level design or replayability.

There’s a large number of levels and bonuses to play through, and if you were ever addicted to Angry Birds at some point, you’ll know exactly what to expect, even if at times it feels like you need more luck than skill. That being said, given its low price point, there is a decent amount of value contained within, even if the fun can be fleeting.

This game can be fun but not for long periods of time. It is more likely a game you would buy, play once then forget about until you are looking through your game library because you ran out of storage. I've said this before and I will say it again: puzzle games should require patience and skill rather than focus on speed and luck. King Oddball's enormous amount of levels and chuckle-worthy achievements just don't cut it.
