    The Jurassic Park franchise that I admire and without a doubt the film’s are up there with some of favourite films of all time. The good thing is that I can see myself being addicted to this game for some time to come because in terms of content the game has huge amount for you to sink your teeth into and the best thing is that the content that’s available to you has a decent amount of variety present so boredom won’t be happening anytime soon. The gameplay has a lot of attention to detail and the management aspect of the game has been done to perfection. In fact each different mechanic in the game has been done to perfection and when they all combine together the fun factor is off the charts. You will however have to get used to the difficulty curve in the game because at times it can cause you a few problems, but as you progress and get used to certain methods the difficulty curve does thankfully start to ease a little bit. The game also helps you get used to the difficulty curve quite a bit as well and they do this by including an array of options for you to use. You can literally manage everything in this game and each option plays an important part in the running of your park so the immersion levels are really high throughout your time with the game. They also do a very good job of keeping things simple as well and not once did I feel overwhelmed which is rare in a game of this ilk. I never once got bored doing the various tasks in the game thanks to the excellent way they’ve used the Jurrasic Park franchise. I would however have liked a fast forward option because doing certain tasks can take a while which means progression is a little on the slow side. Thankfully though I was easily able to look past this because the presentation side of the game makes you forget about the slow pace of completing certain tasks. Visually the dinosaurs look great and you can tell that a lot of thought and effort has gone into key areas. I was also impressed with the sound design in the game as well and when both the visuals and sound design combine together they create a true Jurassic Park feel. At the end of the day as far as management sim’s go Jurassic World Evolution is a fantastic addition to the genre. It has a huge amount of depth and content for you to get to grips with and the best thing is that this content and depth never gets boring and remains fun for many hours.… Expand

This game can’t be compared with other tycoon games, except Jurassic Park Genesis, as it includes weather difficulties and the threat of dinosaurs breaking free when agitated.     I never personally played Jurassic Park Genesis, but Jurassic World Evolution out did it with the amazing graphics and the amount of realism that is put into a dinosaur park (but then again Jurassic Park Genesis release date was 2003 so it is much older compare to the Jurassic World Evolution)

    The game always needs thoughtful thinking and eliminating obstructions along the way. It really gets you thinking what way is the more efficient but also successful towards the visitors.

    Frontier Developments have made or took part in the make of a few tycoon games, one being the Zoo Tycoon, but never did they make a dinosaur park tycoon, and they did an amazing job.

    The story behind it is very simple and nothing too complicated if you have seen all the Jurassic Parks and Worlds. You are requested to build functional parks throughout the four islands you are given, with money income coming in. You are given some basic starts on islands, or you must figure out how to go from negative profit back into the positive. As you progress with your star rating of your island, you can unlock further islands and unlock dinosaurs.

    The tutorial is very clear and shows you where everything is and how everything works so you can get into the game very quickly. There are shortcuts to most functions to make everything faster and easier. The more you play, the quicker you get with management and multitasking in the game.

    The game wants you to make a successful park, and what really is the most complex part is the electrical system which you must make efficient for everything requiring electricity work. I personally don’t find this too much of a problem to sort out, but I have seen some people struggle with it. A nice touch of failing and successful incubations really mimics the real life as not always everything works out as planned and fail. You must have 50% genome to start incubating a new breed of dinosaur, but it also means that there is 50% chance of failure in the incubation. As you add genetic modifications onto a specific breed, the chances of success falls depending on the modification. It is annoying, especially when an expensive breed fails near the beginning of the game while you still try to make a sustainable income, but it does give the reality problems and issues that there are when genetically modifying a specie.

    Everything in the game costs money such as, fixing fences, tranquilizing, feeding, removing/adding trees and water, and all other facilities and viewing galleries. This game really makes you think what is more important and where the money should go to make your park more successful.

    The graphics are amazing, and the dinosaurs are very detailed which give you the feeling of bringing them back to life and giving them another chance to roam the Earth. There is the small disappointed of similar sized dinosaurs having the same animation, such as the medium carnivores and relative herbivores. However, some have their own unique animations.

    There isn’t much character development because of this being a strategy and management style game but you get a few characters from the films, such as Owen, Clair, Ian and Doctor Henry. The three categories, Security, Entertainment and Science, gives you three personalities which might make you favour one more than the other.

    The sound track in the background really puts you in the Jurassic World mood. The sound effects of roars, hitting, crunching and vehicles are very good too, nearly all dinosaurs with their unique roars and sounds.

    The game isn’t cheap, but it does give you a lot of equipment, facilities and dinosaurs to make our own park and you don’t have to spend any more money on it. There is an option of spending £10 on five extra dinosaurs, but it isn’t a must because you aren’t missing out on much to be honest. In my opinion, I think for the price that is sells for, it is worth the money.    … Expand

    And to unlock these islands you first have to prove yourself in the islands prior…
    to do so youll be juggling your science, entertainment and security…
    as your doing your thing, building your park.. youll get constant tasks that reward you with cash that will be something along the lines of building a certain facility, hatching a certain dinosaur, or taking pictures…
    this cash will go tawards building items in your park as well as excavating and unlocking upgrades..
    excavation is another great opportunity to earn some cash..
    you git a list of possible fosils, your team goes out collects the fossils, brings them back and you can then extract them and make progress towards a genome for that dinosaur species. Biut youll also get materials you can sell for high prices…
    its not quote as simple as just build a park and keep your guests happy though..
    you also have to keep your dinos happy..
    make sure they have food to eat, give them plenty of room to roam around, make sure theyre comfortable so that they aren’t constantly breaking their fences which gets annoying as youre trying to chase ratings, keep everything calmed balanced and organized, they’ll get into fights, so youll have to find ways to separate, they’ll get sick, they’ll die.. so you have to heal them and transport dead dinosaurs out of the park..
    it’s a little annoying though that there isn’t an option to sortve automate things like in a roller coaster tycoon where you hire workers, drop them into the world and they automatically fix things and clean
    you have to go to problem areas yourself and then command your team to heal, fix, tranqulize a lose dinosaur before they eat too many guests and transport them back to their living area..
    it is cool that you are able to just take control of the vehicles completely to get a 3rd person perspective of your park if youd like.. which does give you more incentive to actually create something cool..
    though sometimes youll have to if for example a storm knocks out the power to their station..
    they cant be commanded, but you can go out and fix things yourself..
    as you do unluck new areas youre free to revisit your old islands and use its recourses to unlock new buildings for example or mutations to alter your dinosaurs before you hatch them…
    your unlocks and fosils carry from island to island.. it isn’t constantly starting over which I appreciate..
    the only thing that doesn’t carry over is your cash…
    but again youre able to send out temas from other islands and save the fosils they find to sell on your new island if youre really hurting for cash..
    but the park is running real time in the background so you might find yourself having to fix things up again before you return
    Jurrassic World Evolution offers a decent challenge and tons of fun in creating and trrying to run a successful park..
    This is a game that you don’t necessarily have to even be into the series to enjoy..
    Theres something here for just flat out dinosaur fans or tycoon management fans..
    this is a great game no matter which of those 3 reasons youre coming in for

    Achievements don't unlock when playing with "Instant On" Power option, so to make sure achievements unlocks, we have to close the game and then restart it each time, That's why it got 1 of 10.

    Fix it! "BUILDING CONSTRAINTS" The islands are too small, so it's hard to build real parks! Just look at the movie and how big that island really is!     Un jeu de gestion à la Zoo Tycoon mais avec des dinos... parce qu'avec des dinos, c'est plus rigolo ! on a en effet rarement vu un visiteur se faire bouffer par une girafe ou un zèbre... mais un dino qui a faim est un gros mangeur de viande rouge et le suivre en voiture tandis qu'il happe les gogos est particulièrement réjouissant.     Mais ce n'est pas le but premier, le but premier c'est de faire du fric ! et de veiller à la sécurité, l'alimentation et au bien-être de tout ce petit monde (visiteurs et visités), afin de fabriquer de nouveaux dinos toujours plus gros. Comme dans tous les jeux de ce type, on est constamment au four et au moulin, entre la recherche d'ADN, l'amélioration des infrastructures, la récupération de dinos évadés, les réparations à faire après les tempêtes et tutti quanti...

    Des "contrats" vous sont régulièrement attribués comme autant de **** objectifs à atteindre qui donnent des bonus divers et encore plus de fric... car l'entretien de tout ça coûte cher, vous n'imaginez même pas ! Notre parc est noté sur 5 étoiles et à partir de 2 ou 3, on peut passer à l'île suivante qui présente des défis différents, liès à la configuration de chaque île (5 en tout dont l'une en mode bac à sable avec pognon illimité).

    L'interface est globalement bien faite mais accroche quelque peu... à dire vrai, le placement des bâtiments est trop souvent pénible parce qu'il y a toujours un truc qui gêne : un arbre, un dénivelé, un pylône, un bout d'allée, une canette de bière... Idem pour placer les allées entre les bâtiments (tout doit être relié) et là, ça devient carrément casse-burnes. Par ailleurs, la précision requise pour sélectionner de **** éléments (commes les mangeoires) est souvent horripilante... Enfin, la gestion du réseau électrique est illogique puisqu'on ne relie pas les bâtiments entre eux mais les postes électriques seulement !

    Bien sûr, tout cela ne tient que du détail mais du détail qui finit par se remarquer au fil des nombreuses heures qu'on passe sur nos îles, sans compter qu'une répétition certaine s'installe, car on fait toujours la même chose...

    Le jeu est en tout cas soigné graphiquement parlant et prend en charge la Xbox One X : c'est très propre et ça tourne fort bien, mis à part de rares ralentissements sur les grands parcs. La VF est de qualité et la musique évidemment reprise des films sait rester assez discrète.

    Assez amusant donc ce jeu de dinos mais pas assez solide : un peu comme cet herbivore moyen qui boulotte le mur en béton et se tire ailleurs parce que le jeu en a tout simplement décidé ainsi... mais j'ai bien aimé quand même prendre en photo quelques gros bestiaux vénères qui se bouffent la gueule.     Overall Jurassic World Evolution is everything I could want in a build you own dinosaur park. It has great graphics and runs smooth without any issues and a superb soundtrack to accompany it. Moving from island to island can let the game down due to you having the same choices as before and haven't to build the park from scratch again.     Well i would love this game if you didnt have to many fricking problems in your menu first it crashed every time had to uninstall and reinstall it worked big of playing later loading to next island took 10 mins o i quite went bak on and now hen i press a it doesnt work a does nothing fix it now i am not happy with your game

    Jurassic World Evolution is a fun game to really unleash your creative juices and play with dinosaurs at the same time. If you're a fan of the films, then this is a game you need. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive after a while and you wish you could be given more control over certain things but it's a fun game.

The game breaks down the bulk of the work into three categories: science, security and entertainment, and each have their own pros and cons as far as throwing your limited resources into, but work hand in hand. I made the mistake of putting all of my eggs into the science basket, which resulted in my cash flow (which is needed for essentially anything) suffering. Much like in real life, I suck at managing money, and sadly my wife was not there to take care of the finances. While you earn money based on the performance of the park every minute, failing to find a balance can quickly turn your park into utter chaos.

    In my experience with sim games, the console versions are typically clunky when it comes to the controls. This game makes building fairly easy to grasp, with the exception of running electricity to your many buildings. While some will function without, you will need to set up a complex power system, as well as working roads, prior to making any major building decisions. The game does a decent job of providing the information you need to be successful in most areas, but setting up the electrical systems is more complex than it needs to be and required me to actually Google it, which shouldn’t be the case.

    While building the physical items in the game world is fairly easy, the actual processes to do pretty much anything are rather cumbersome, as you have to complete a number of small actions to gain any results. An example would be creating a new breed of dinosaur: first off, you’ll need to send a team somewhere around the world to find and harvest fossils, who will return them to your park, where you can then analyze them. The results will depend on the quality of the fossil, but once completed, you can start breeding the new creatures, which may or may not be successful, based off of the quality of the DNA you’ve located. While my explanation of the process may sound easy, it’s quite a project to manage this, as well as the other systems the game has in place.

    Not only will you have to properly budget your money, but you will have to monitor the park for mechanical failures, escaped dinosaurs, and the overall health of the creatures. While the game provides handy red icons at the top of the screen to let you know when something isn’t right, it’s often difficult to locate exactly what the issue is at any given time, especially when multiple issues occur at one time. The problems start coming up early in the game and will often become more of an annoyance than anything. Sure, it’s thrilling the first time one of the large carnivorous dinosaurs gets loose and starts eating the park goers, but it gets old when the same creatures get out of the pen you just repaired minutes before for the fifth time. While you can dispatch security teams or rangers to complete the tasks needed fairly easily and quickly, everything costs money, which is always on short supply. Every time I thought I was going in the right direction financially, I’d have another sick or dead dinosaur to deal with. I kid you not; this game is the virtual equivalent of unpaid student loans.

    Luckily, you’ll have some familiar faces to help you out on your journey to becoming a prehistoric park mogul, as a number of noteworthy actors reprise their roles from the movies as guides offering insight or witty comments on your successes (or in my case failures). While most of the actors bring the same energy and depth to their voice over work, the title is missing Chris Pratt, with a less than outstanding stand in who clearly is trying to duplicate Pratt’s slightly hillbilly-ish inflection, but breaks immersion every single time he speaks. Outside of this issue, the presentation is acceptable but rarely awe inspiring. While the dinosaurs and environment look great, some visual glitches and inconsistencies are regular – clipping when large packs of dinos are huddled around a feeding area is the norm. The standout visuals come when the occasional tropical storm hits. While it never reaches the level of detail found in titles such as Forza Horizon, it looks damn good, despite the damage it’ll cause to your creations.

    I would strongly suggest waiting for the full package to be released at a later date unless you’re preferred genre is resource management simulators.    … Expand

    This game is awesome. Got it for free on XBL and it's been worth every penny. Other than Jeff Goldblum pretending to be smart, I love everything about this game and just tool around in my little ranger mobile checking out my dinos

    A dream come real for every Jurassic Park/World franchise fan like me, you can build your own park in five islands, two of them are the iconic Nublar and Sorna. The feeling when you unlock for the first time your favourite dinosaur, for example the Tyrannosaurus Rex for me, is absolutely amazing. A must have game for every person who loves this incredible creatures.

Finding fossils for new dinos becomes a chore because you quickly realize you dont need or want all the dinos. Filling dino feeders becomes tedious. Plus, the most important part, building, is really basic. You cannot provide the type of detail or planning you might want to because of the limited space and options. The weather mechanics completely destroy the game. How realistic and boring is it to constantly have the same storms over and over again breaking your dino enclosures. Its something you have no control over and is easy, but extremely boring to constantly address. Lastly, the only difficult part, and fun part, is the beginning of a level when you are trying to turn a surplus profit....which takes about a half hour. This game might be worth it for Jurassic Park enthusiasts if the game can be found at a reduced price. For full price do not let the shiny graphics and great marketing make you think this game has more than it does.… Expand

    The bad: Some confusing mechanics, a lot of DLC offered in the menus, sometimes a bit annoying with appeasing all saurs.

    The good: Really fun, played for hours and I'm not even a fan of the franchise, really surprised! There's no amusement park game quite like it.

Most movie-based games just carbon copy the movies, but the creators of this went above and beyond to make it a unique and original game, while still drawing nostalgia from the movies. IGreat game.     Esse jogo é sensacional, é o melhor jogo de administração que eu já joguei na minha vida, o gráfico é muito bonito, o som dos dinossauros são bem feitos, as dublagens para português são fenomenais, e é claro a parte de gerenciamento que é muito bem feita e não falha em nenhuma vez

    I love building and simulation games and wanted to see what this was like. I’ve played a few Jurassic park games on my iPad and found them very smooth gameplay but found this to be quite clunky and confusing.

    It’s not the in-depth park management game that some may be looking for, and there is a fair bit of repetition with in-game quests, but I still really enjoyed my time with Jurassic World Evolution. Creating new dinosaurs and having a successful park was extremely satisfying and addictive, and recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the Jurassic Park Universe. Just remember, you’ll have to learn a lot on your own, but once you do, it will be a dinosaur park sim game you should enjoy.

    The game may not hold many peoples interest for too long. Something keeps me coming back for more though. While not perfect, it is a nice addition to the Jurassic park franchise…and you get to be the one that calls the shots, and make all the mistakes this time. It is something of a blast to be part of this world. Have fun because, even with a few flaws, the game will find a way.
