It came from space and ate our brains is an Arena Style Top-Down Shooter. You're Jerry, a balding fellow who looks like he was plucked right out of Minecraft. Though he would have never learned how to handle Firearms like he does there. The world has been overrun with bright pink aliens with a taste for human brains. With an insatiable desire for grey matter, most of the planet is wasted,It came from space and ate our brains is an Arena Style Top-Down Shooter. You're Jerry, a balding fellow who looks like he was plucked right out of Minecraft. Though he would have never learned how to handle Firearms like he does there. The world has been overrun with bright pink aliens with a taste for human brains. With an insatiable desire for grey matter, most of the planet is wasted, and only a few humans are left. Survivors like Jerry will do everything to eradicate this alien menace, especially if it has to do with bullets. The gameplay is as simple as the animation style, but the game isn't. With ever-growing waves of these neon extraterrestrials, the game can get quite chaotic fast. The game unfortunately only has local live multiplayer and split-screen, but bringing a buddy adds to the insanity. This remaster is clean and Fun. It's crazy how intense the game can get, even with the most powerful weapons, the hordes can get the best of you fast. The fun is well worth the low price tag, even without any online play. A fast-paced fun little game that packs quite the challenge, Top-Down Shooter fans will get hours of delight from this game. Expand

So, the levels in ICFSaAOB are long, but the lack of meta play or any incentive to replay means its lifespan is short — paradoxically, it’s too long in the short term, and too short in the long term. It is also repetitive to the point of tedium and the answer in almost all situations is ‘use the shotgun’.

It’s just alright choice for a pizza evening with friends in front of a TV and console. [04/2020, p.74]

It's definitely a solid twin-stick shooter but after a while, It came from space and ate our brains becomes so monotonous that you'll eventually feel like something came from space and ate your brain. Well, they got me there, I guess.
