Iron Snout doesn’t have many levels or modes of play but what it does have is fun to play and at least brings you back to complete all of the in game achievements. The achievements were fun and enjoyable as was the simple gameplay mechanics for basically the admission price of a days video game rental to own a game that easily provides you a days worth of fun. The achievements were fun and enjoyable as was the simple gameplay mechanics for basically the admission price of a days video game rental to own a game that easily provides you a days worth of fun. Sometimes simple concepts wrapped into a video game prove to be great fun. Iron Snout is definitely simple, fun and quite addictive. You basically defeat a barrage of wolves that continuous comes to kill you until your life bar has been depleted then the game is over. The fun defeating all of these wolves requires punching kicking, dodging and using their own weapons against them. You’ll soon be having fun when you see your character (a pig with many costumes to unlock), flying in the air while throwing about various weapons to block attacks and kill off the constantly approaching pack of wolves. The cartoony presentation of the game compliments the fun as well because its simple concept embraces the presentation in a way it doesn't try to take itself too seriously. In terms of stages or types of games modes there isn’t a huge amount for you to play, but what it does have is varied and fun enough to keep you coming back for higher scores, outfits, or in game achievements. The controls that have been implemented well and remain responsive thankfully as the short games ramp in difficulty rather quickly as games in this genre typically do. I recommending Iron Snout to you because it's simple, effective, fun and addictive with a bargain price tag. Don't come in expecting too much and you'll end up surprised by how much fun you'll have at your disposal. Expand

There aren’t many games at the same price that I can recommend more than Iron Snout. This is a game that does exactly what it says on the tin. There’s little else here apart from what I have described, and the game is better for it. If you really hate wolves, and you have a few hours to spare, then this is the game for you.

The generously priced Iron Snout offers a silly endless high-score fighting experience that, despite its varied modes, is only fun for as long as you can stomach its repetitive loop. Whilst there’s some excitement to be found during the initial stages of play through the introduction of new enemies, new maps, and new cosmetics, you’ll have seen everything the game has to offer after just fifteen minutes. Past that, there’s little else to enjoy.
