Immortal Legacy: The Jade Cipher Console Edition does have a strange kind of draw that will keep you playing, but it’s hard to say why. The combat is basic and rudimentary at best, the puzzles aren’t terribly puzzling, and the characters that you meet are more two dimensional than your average cardboard policeman. But even with all that said, you’ll feel compelled to finish the story.

i played the game on my Xbox Series S & I well go out of my way with the most positive things I have to say about this game, then to thei played the game on my Xbox Series S & I well go out of my way with the most positive things I have to say about this game, then to the negatives that I personally didn't like because they were either annoying or limiting some things in the game & how it could have been worked in a similar game so I will be comparing it to another game that has the same mechanic as this one so here we go
positive side the only thing I loved about this game was how the game graphic, I loved the views & environments an mostly I did have fun exploring certain sections of the game, another thing I also love the weapons used in this game having some classic familiar weapons you see in any game such as the AK47, M4A1 & the Mac 10 these guns sound great an they do feel satisfying with headshots that make a sound from a single hit, another thing I also do like were enemies encountered later in the game creating a sinister discovery of the game later to reveal something more to the place & setting, an the level they are set in is dark & I had to use a flash light with 2 sets of mode 1 surrounding the area an the other using a normal flash light revealing a path, the characters I also saw were very unique but only had a brief moment & I wish this game kind of extended that, this was all the things that were positive that i had to say & it was the only thing I liked about this game & how I loved the story but now comes to the negative part & I have allot to say so please understand these are things I hate specifically that could have been annoying or something I hate that could have been worked around this so just bear with me.
the negative parts I seen come across was how this game inventory was handled, now be aware this game control input is the same as resident evil & when you pick up a weapon it fills your inventory space & you could make room by putting an item or weapon in a chest except their is no chest to store them in, an you have no chest to store these items in & to get these new weapons you have to delete a weapon but you are able to pick these weapons up only at the beginning of the game, I was able to get these guns back but later on ammo for these guns become scarce & only leaving you with 3 weapons that have allot of ammo because theirs lots of ammo for these 3 weapons & making you delete them so you can make more space for other items that can help you progress you through the level of the game, I hate this because it could of had a chest in each level so you can use different various weapons to help you in different situations & even though this does have the same control input & inventory mechanic as resident evil I really do hate this because some weapons could have been used to help me deal with enemies who take on allot of damage, the next thing I found annoying where the chests now these chests have a marble & this little marble needs to rotate in different directions so you can guide it into a hole that unlocks the chest so this is on control how hard it can it be, it's easy on most but sometimes when trying to rotate this chest for this little marble it doesn't really work because your somehow throwing it in that same direction, I somehow ended up having the little marble going back to the beginning of where I started an I find this so annoying & their are other puzzles in this game to help progress through the level but are basic & simple, but sometimes these chest have the keys to unlock the door to continue the level so your force to play them, & what do these chests have mostly well it's just collectables an they are so many scattered throughout the map earning easy achievements or trophies depending what system you play on, I cannot tell you how much I hated these ones, but I was able to look passed that, the next negative thing I could say was how short this game was & I was expecting it to be longer game, except that I finished this game in 3 hours an half the time I'm on the surface fighting mercenaries the other half is being underground fighting these monsters, but they even show one specific character who was the villain of these mercenaries & I thought she was going to be seen more often into the game & becoming a boss fight, except they only show up in that one specific scene & is never seen or heard from again I find that disappointing because in the story this character is suppose to be a commander of a certain section of the mercenaries but nope you only see this character once & that's it, but either way this was all the negative things I really hated & now we come to the conclusion.
It's a good game I just have mixed feeling towards some specific things I hate. I also found news we may never get a sequel because when it was launched, it didn't make any money it's sucks but that's what we got, this was my play through this was all I got from this game, it's a fun & it got swept under the radar sadly, I even like the main character who is voiced by the guy geralt from the Witcher games
