No Brakes Games has developed an original game and wanted to provide humorous touches. We will had a good time playing it but you'd better to do it with company because solo play can be boring very soon. It is a title that will test our ingenuity and creativity to solve their puzzles.

Human: Fall Flat was a rollercoaster of a ride, as one minute I was laughing hysterically, then cursing shortly after. Sure, you’ll feel like a genius when you solve puzzles in a unique way, or by accident, as you get those “Ah-ha!” moments, but prepare to resist the urge to destroy your controller shortly after when Bob won’t do what you want him to do because his arm is stuck behind his head. It has a steep learning curve, and even once you understand how to play, the game will constantly challenge you every step of the way, by design and arbitrarily. At the end of the day the game is worth the play, as long as you know its flaws head of time, and then you should enjoy seeing Bob moving in awkward and hilarious ways.

Even with clever puzzles and funny physics, I found little enjoyment in Human: Fall Flat.

Human Fall Flat is a physics-based puzzler with a pleasant sense of humor, a cute main character, nice puzzles, and clean, inviting environs, but all of these positives bite the dust when the basic mechanic of the game makes you gnash your teeth with frustration. Controlling Bob is like trying to get ooze to stand at attention. He flips and flops around until you'll jump off a ledge just to end the pain. The items he handles flip and flop around in the much the same way. Once you get the hang of the basic controls then you can get the job done, but it isn't fun and isn't that the whole point? It isn't Bob that falls flat here so much as the game itself.

Human: Fall Flat is a perfect example of a game that embraces its limitations and stretches them out to their full possibility. The controlsHuman: Fall Flat is a perfect example of a game that embraces its limitations and stretches them out to their full possibility. The controls work well and take unique takes on standard platformer movement styles, and the game is always able to help out if you get stuck. There are some tricky levels, but overall, you're in for a fun time. Full Review »
