    Better last gen port than I expected but still needs some stuff worked out. Game doesn’t have a consistent frame rate, if you turn down sharpness you get better frames but then the game looks kinda blurry. On the mp side of things there is a lack of content compared to previous halos and some of the maps felt like they were playing it safe. The campaign has a great story and definitely dominates halo 4 & especially halo 5 in terms of single player. Essentially they need to bring back old mp modes, optimize it better, add forge and co-op campaign then I can give it at least an 8.5 out of 10. Would say 9/10 but I feel like 343 will continue to put out very safe map designs.… Expand

    Halo gameplay + grapple shot + openworld is a match made in heaven. Don't mind the negative reviews and votes from low iq console warriors.

    I love the Halo series but have never been a fan of it. In Russia, this series of games has never been cult like the xbox console. But with the release of the Master Chief collection on steam, our player was finally able to appreciate this franchise.

    Multiplayer Very good, it turns out the old-school gameplay is not only relevant in 2021, but also capable of surprising and surpassing    I love the Halo series but have never been a fan of it.     Multiplayer
    Very good, it turns out the old-school gameplay is not only relevant in 2021, but also capable of surprising and surpassing the competition.
    Excellent balance and measured gameplay emphasize the competitive spirit of playing on an equal footing between opponents. And most importantly, it is perfectly optimized, does not have critical bugs, and those that do make you smile.
    I advise everyone who is not happy with the dynamics, the rules of this multiplayer and the lack of a huge number of microtransactions to go to other projects.
    Hopefully the team will continue to improve the multiplayer.

    Also good but there are problems. It's interesting to watch the plot until the end, but at the end nothing global happens.
    The open world resembles the world of Metro Exodus and this is good, for some reason, many disaffected people expected an open world like in Far cry, but at the same time they do not like Far cry ...
    Due to the open world, the core of the Halo gameplay has received additional depth, now you yourself create the staged moments, and not as scripts did in the hallway gameplay of the old parts before.
    The graphics are not new generation since the game was released on the old and new generation of xbox consoles.
    The graphics are minimalistic, but everything is very detailed and pleasing to the eye. Works great on all xbox one and series consoles.
    The game is available in the gamee pass so anyone can try it out)

    Verdict 9.0 points.
    I played it on xbox one x console and everything looks and works fine.
    This is the best thing in the series since halo reach.
    Try it.)

    P.S I want to congratulate microsoft, bungie and 343 indastries on the 20th anniversary of the franchise and thank you for releasing a great multiplayer game three weeks ahead of the game's release.    … Expand

    La verdad cumplió con todas las expectativas y el año de retraso para el juego me parece que demuestra la seriedad de los desarrolladores y su compromiso para con los fans. Nada que ver con call of duty o battlefield

    Se llegan a notar los 30 fps, pero una vez que te acostumbras puedes apreciar lo grandioso que es este juego, especialmente el gameplay.

    Bunch of Sony fan boys complaining a campaign they have never even played. This has been the best Halo campaign I had played in years. Who cares anyway. Metacritic has lost credibility. They are Play$tation exclusive anyway

    Truly a great return to form for Halo. The campaign is great especially the story and combat. The MP could be definitely have more content, but I understand it can be hard to program bots to act accordingly to each different mode. Overall this has been the best Halo I've played since Reach and I am excited to see what 343 adds next.

    Graphics look bad in xbox one. Halo 5 looks better. Low frame rate, low quality textures.
