    Growtopia is a 2D MMO Sandbox originating on Mobile. Growtopia stands alone in it's mechanics and game play, as all worlds are persistent at all times. This game has grown into a huge community, with around 20,000 players on every time I've logged in. This game plays a bit like Terraria, as it's a 2D sidescroller sandbox , but the way you acquire items is utterly Unique. In GrowtopiaGrowtopia is a 2D MMO Sandbox originating on Mobile. In Growtopia Everything grows on trees, from dirt to top-hats, and opposed t-o a Crafting system, you "Splice" seeds together (by planting them in the same place) to create new trees. If you decide to investigate this game, I HIGHLY Recommend you read the Newbies guide in game, and follow the tutorial quests. The beginning of the game, like any sandbox is long and grindy, with a lot of time getting ready to get started. I Also recomend learning how to use locks, and doors properly fast, because with the nature of the game, anyone can come in and "claim" your world by Locking it. My first several hours of game play were lost to griefers, which there seems to be a lot of that go to worlds and lock other players out. Once you learn how to get around these unsavory people, the experience is fun and unique. The worlds people have created are mind blowing, and they alone are worth the look. Growtopia would be far more exciting to me if there were an easier way to prevent greifing.… Expand

    Growtopia is a wannabe, a resources management sim, F2P with microtransactions that could have been a solid game but ends being a disappointment.
