    This point and click games excels in its art style and different puzzles. However, the difficulty of the puzzles and the voice acting is not as good as to be hoped for.

    The palatable fantasy-based story, gorgeous hand-painted still locations and good balance of fun, albeit easy, puzzle types may not be everybody’s cup of tea but those willing to give it a taste may find themselves being pleasantly surprised.

    If you’ve enjoyed previous Artifex Mundi games, then you know exactly what you’re getting into and more than likely you’ll enjoy this one too.

    The Forskaen Bride is a point and click puzzle adventure game where you play as a    Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride
    A puzzling adventure
    The Forskaen Bride is a point and click puzzle adventure game where you play as a woman on the way to her twin sisters wedding
    The game introduces its mechanics after a bear causes your carriage to crash…
    and its up to use to put different items together to make sure you get to your sister to deliver your gift in time…
    and you also happen to run into an adorable kitten that of course youre going to take with you…
    When you finally get there
    oh snap
    shes been sntached by a bear…
    so you set out with your new kitten companion to rescue your twin sister…
    The strory is pretty predicatable but enjoyable and moves the 5and a half hour long long along nicely…
    here you look at your surrounding, interact, find pieces, put them together and work on triggering events to get past each section…
    And it isn’t just adventure styled gameplay…
    There are tons of puzzles to solve, like jigsaw, dominoes, hidden objects… among others.. all of which are fairly simple and don’t warrant any help…
    The point and lick adventure portion is where you may run into just a little bit of trouble…
    Not because the solutions are confusing.. they all actually make sense..
    youll most of the time immediately know what you need to do… but then need to look around to figure out how youre going to do it…
    Its just enough challenge to make you feel smart while not frustrating you making you just give up and go to a walkthrough
    but you may run into problems because every item you need isn’t always in the current location youre in..
    you have to remember where things are to come back to them later…
    which is made easy with the help of a quick travel map.. as wall as the ability to ask the game for the next step in continuing the game and its story…
    but if you don’t want the help at all theres also an expert mode..
    this mode gives no tutorials and the cool downs to ask for help are much longer..
    The Forsaken Bride is an enjoyable and simple point and click puzzle game
    one suitable for all ages…

    These games are all beautiful and fun to play. They are a nice change of pace and consistently good. I like a good shooter or adventure gameThese games are all beautiful and fun to play. They are a nice change of pace and consistently good. I like a good shooter or adventure game and even rpgs but for a truely different and enjoyable gaming experience all of the Artifex Mumdi games fill the bill. I have played all that are available for the xbox one and look forward to the next one. If you like puzzles and aren't expecting a lot of action you might enjoy these games too.… Full Review »
