GORSD has both a single player adventure mode, and a multiplayer couch battle mode for 2-4 players. To win you must own the map and defeat your enemies, but you have only one bullet, which is as deadly to you as it is your enemies! so tactics are essential. In the adventure mode, explore a dark temple and battle through more than 80 unique maps. Only after these great challenges set by your creator: “Ludum Properamus” will you earn the ultimate reward, and be crowned the “Champion of the GORSD”. Expand

GORSD on the Xbox One is an essential purchase for those looking for some local multiplayer fun. Rounds are short, sharp and sweet and having a full roster of four players brings just the right amount of carnage on screen. And then when they have gone home, the surprisingly entertaining single player Adventure allows you to hone your skills on tricky AI opponents, and the game doesn’t lose any of the same appeal.

There’s a lot to love about GORSD. It’s ugly-beautiful, rewarding and doesn’t put up with any of your crap. But it’s also unintuitive, and pushes the skill ceiling way up as a result. Some might enter a state of zen and master it, making it an indie esporter of the future, but mostly you will be hoping for good results, and that stops it short of being truly joyful.

By following the designated paths, players leave a trail behind them of their particular color. Opponents can overwrite this by running over the same path, but to stop this players have one bullet they can use to shoot opponents in the fray of covering as much area as possible. GORSD on the Xbox One is an essential purchase for those looking for some really intense local multiplayer fun. The rounds are short, furious and sweet. Having a full roster of four players brings just the right amount of carnage on screen and then when friends and family have departed, the surprisingly entertaining single player adventure allows you to hone your skills on strong AI opponents, and the game doesn’t lose any of the fun that can be had other than the trash talking. This can be quite a competitive game and quite a solid entry of the genre for the family of Xbox One consoles. Expand
