Jan 25, 2016Even as a tie-in for an already canceled TV series, Gemini: Heroes Reborn is an intriguing and interesting game with some neat ideas; using physics and time-based powers during combats can become a really rewarding and creative experience. Unluckily technical problems and questionable design choices bring down its overall value.
-
Jan 24, 2016For fans and newcomers to the series, the game will not disappoint with its unique blend of time travelling and kinetic abilities plus many Easter eggs from the show. Gemini: Heroes Reborn is a solid, fun and to the point representation of the Heroes universe. Plus, it has a very low price.
-
Jan 22, 2016The game is a bit on the short side, but for $14.99 I think it’s a great value, even if you don’t watch the show. The time mechanics alone make for some enjoyable platforming and I wish other developers would visit it more often.
-
Jan 19, 2016Gemini: Heroes Reborn offers up pretty good value for the buck. When you consider the $15 dollar price tag there is a lot to like here. The telekinesis and time travel abilities make for an experience I found remarkably enjoyable. While the games presentation and frame rate issues dampen the experience, this is perfect Sunday afternoon romp for anyone looking for a change of pace.
-
Jan 29, 2016While the show couldn’t convince fans nor critics, leading to NBC cancelling after just one season, Gemini is a surprising game. Technically mere average (underutilizing the Unreal Engine 4) the mixture of Mirror’s Edge and Psi-Ops doesn’t live up to all its potential, but still delivers a solid action experience.
-
Jan 19, 2016The story doesn't have a lot to offer and is pretty standard as far as these kinds of games go, but the game's fun telekinetic combat and stellar time-shifting mechanics make the experience a worthwhile one.
-
Feb 8, 2016Exaclty like the tv series, Heroes Reborn is a mass of untapped potential, that starts with some good ideas (even if they’re partly recycled from other games) but wastes most of them on a boring storyline. It’s a decent tie-in, nothing more, nothing less.
-
Jan 29, 2016It does manage to pack a lot of surprises into a short game with its interesting mix of powers but excellence is prevented as it gets bogged down in not allowing its own mechanics to properly flourish.
-
Jan 19, 2016Gemini: Heroes Reborn has a bland and forgettable opening segment, but once it picks up and hits its stride, it turns into a surprisingly decent game.
-
Jan 20, 2016Gemini: Heroes Reborn in itself is an enjoyable superhero simulator, but it gets by as a Heroes game in title and references only and is far too long winded and repetitive to be considered much else.
-
Jan 20, 2016Gemini: Heroes Reborn is certainly not a bad game, it is just excessively forgettable.
-
Jan 25, 2016Gemini had so much potential that is squandered by poor execution. With tons of bugs, terrible AI, and a total lack of challenge, I can’t recommend anyone purchase this.
