    Amazing game. Great graphics and story. Open world aspect is good. Jack upgrades and participating in combat is cool. Lots of new gameplay make this a classic. Well Done!!

    If you have Xbox One X and HDR TV, do yourself a favor, stop reading and get this game right now. This game has graphics that can make you forget what is real and what is not. Look at the DigitalFoundry analysis to see all the work that go into developing these eyepopping graphics. And gameplay is amazing!! Campaign is topnotch with awesome story and fun locations and amazing gameplay.If you have Xbox One X and HDR TV, do yourself a favor, stop reading and get this game right now.     Open world campaign, jack as a playable character, lots of improvements in horde mode, Kat and Emile from Halo Reach. I love that all. It is such great game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Gears 5 is next step is a whole lot of game. The game looks incredible (one of the best-looking looking games of 2019 along with Devil May Cry V), runs at near constant 60fps during the entire campaign (except for a few notable hiccup spots) is crammed pack with various multiplayer modes which it is still adding to the game, a greatly improved campaign over Gears of War 4, great new weapons (Breaker Mace is my favorite), new enemy varieties to spice up the campaign (such as the Rejects and Wardens), Terminator: Dark Fate and Halo: Reach character cameos, great old and new characters (shoutouts to JACK, Baird, JD, Fahz, Samson, Iris) and overall, great gameplay. Only have a few minor cripes, such as Rev-9/Grace character pack being too expensive, bugs (most of them fix themselves or are generally harmless, but at least 1-2 are annoying, they'll fix it though, devs seem quick to address issues), the Lancer aim is bit off from Gears of War 4, shotgun seems a bit off from Gears of War 4, and not a big fan of the choice you have to make in the end of campaign story's (prefer a linear narrative).… Expand

    Gears 5 is a dynamic and exciting third-person shooter with incredibly beautiful graphics, hardcore multiplayer and a variety of cooperative modes, which lacks a challenge in the main campaign and really unexpected and interesting plot twists. Nevertheless, I put the maximum rating!

    This game is 9.5 or 9.8 !!! it's a GOTY!! No game gives you what Gears 5 gives you, especially it's remarkable and solid multiplayer! If Death Stranding will win the GOTY....please say so to leave the videogames forever!!!

    You get your moneys worth is understating. Big game experience. Play loud (Dolby Atmos) 4k 60. Multiplayer to keep you busy for years. Triple A game. They don't come often on any device so it's a no brainer if your a gamer! Enjoy!

    Pará mi gusto gear 5 es uno de los mejores gear que esta repleto de contenido, una campaña que comienza demostrando ser uno de los mejores si no el mejor shooter de la actual generación, que pierde un poco en los dos últimos capítulos pero que no deja de ser excelente y que con un modo scape y un modo horda totalmente divertidisimo termina    Vuelve una de las mejores franquicias!!

    This is an absolutely amazing game in general, not just a Gears game. It looks to be my GOTY for 2019, and I haven't even touched the Horde mode or anything in multiplayer. The graphics and gameplay are just incredible at 4K HDR 60 FPS on the Xbox One X! This is honestly a reason to buy an Xbox One X and subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, it is THAT GOOD. Well done to the Coalition on this one!

    Se nota las ganas de querer hacer las cosas bien aunque lo siento un poco menos dinamico que el 4 debo aceptar que tiene gran jugabilidad con excelentes gráficos que es lo mas importante para realizar un gran juego.

    Excelente juego de aventura y acción, la suavidad y la calidad gráfica hacen de este juego una joya para la xbox one, además se puede disfrutar a 4k nativos y 60 frames por segundo algo de aplaudir.

    Gears 5 is an odd thing; it's neither a grand leap forwards, nor a complete rehash of what came before, and therefore sits somewhere in the middle of the two. On the whole, the improvements do outweigh the negatives (the non-linear approach to campaign levels and the small changes to horde mode being some of the most notable), and while The Coalition still has some work to do to really make the series its own, this is a far bolder and more varied approach the relatively safe Gears 4. If you love shooters and you want a good place to jump back into the series, this is perfect place to work the rust out of your lancer.

    Gears 5 offers a solid portion of brutal action with several refreshing new things. If you have intentionally avoided games from this series, the fifth sequel probably won´t change your mind, but if you are looking for a quality action game and you are still a fan of multiplayer, try it.     Gears 5 proposes a breathtaking solo campaign and a generous array of multiplayer modes. Even if the recipe remains classic, we really want to go through with it. The characters are rather well written, the environments are often spectacular, and Jack the robot adds some salt to the gameplay. A visual feast and glorious action game that perfectly demonstrate Xbox One X's true power.
