These lovable grossout monster children could be found in the lunchboxes of every latchkey kid, juvenile delinquent, rascal, and brat in your neighborhood. At the same time, the NES was taking over living rooms all across America. So, it only made perfect sense when these two dominant forces of 80s pop culture came together... right? Right?????

Well, here's the thing: that never happened. Until now.

iam8bit Presents, alongside the developers/time-travelers at Retrotainment and our friends at Topps, are proud to present this Long-Lost, All-New Garbage Pail Kids NES Game: Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum.

Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum is a love letter to kids who grew up in the 80s. Every single corner is filled to the brim with nostalgia. Collecting the cards is addictive and fun, and the game is as gross as I could want. For the small entry price this is a must-have for fans of Garbage Pail Kids. Do not hesitate, snatch this up and while you’re at it, get a pack of the cards too.

If you’ve got nostalgia for the gruesome scamps, then Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum is massively rewarding. It packs in all the characters you could possibly recognise, stuffs them in a surprisingly deep little platformer, and then presents it with affection.

Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum is everything we have all dreamed about. It plays on the classic game system with a true to the era difficulty, graphics, and sounds. The control system makes this possibly one of the best 8-bit games out there and I absolutely loved this trip down memory lane when I used to purchase GPK cards as a kid, complete with stick of stale and hard gum.
