Telltale has put together an incredible Game of Thrones story. I’ve said all along in my previous reviews that I am happier with this than the television show proper, and I stand by that. I still can’t wait for HBO’s next season to debut, but I’m far more interested in seeing what happens with this story.

As always, I’d love to see Telltale mix it up a bit more mechanically, introducing more player interaction other than limited QTE’s and conversation decisions, but compared to Telltale’s other offerings, I think Game of Thrones is right up there with the best. I look forward to seeing the series continue, especially after this ending, and hope we hear some news on that front sooner rather than later.

It wouldn't be a true Game of Thrones tale without some dramatic twists at the conclusion, and Telltale's story has a few that were true eye-opening moments.

Although it's been a bit uneven as a whole, Telltale's Game of Thrones series concludes with multiple bangs thanks to a deep and memorable final episode. Multiple outcomes -- including some rather sad ones -- also combine to create a replayable and continually interesting finale.

A sweeping, if imperfect, saga that takes a house of nobodies and makes you truly care. [Jan 2016, p.78]

A fantastic finale marred by technical problems. [Issue#170, p.98]

Heavy decisions and fun action, but a poor end to an overall enjoyable season.

It was short and honestly, for the first time in my entire gaming lifestyle, I finally legitimately felt that this was "rushed", there wasn't that usual charachter charm and nothing felt of substance, some people turn into dicks for no good reason, and the entire cast meets their own "cliffhanger", I'm not even close to joking, each and every playable charachter gets a f***ing cliffhanger. Though there were some pretty intense and down-right awesome moments. It's been really difficult, to not give any spoilers away, but I still recommend you get this, get the whole damn season too, it's really great overall.
I love this series a LOT, although we probably won't get a season 2 until 2017, and this is partially because TellTale is trying to take on too many projects that no one gives a s*** about, such as: Wolf among Us, Minecraft story mode, etc... although they are working on some pretty great stuff like Borderlands, and Walking Dead season 3!
but that's the studio's insoluble problem, they're attempting to tackle wayyy too many damn tasks at once, Just give us TWD and Game of Thrones and everyone will be happy.

Your decisions don't count, same ending regardless. Cliffhanger after cliffhanger, nothing is explained. Obvious sequel bait is obvious. I'mYour decisions don't count, same ending regardless. You know all those decisions in other episodes? They meant nothing.
