A fun and compelling platformer which bigger feature is to make me enter in a "karma state" of "flow state" that it is really pleasant. Apart from that, graphics and sounds are great, and level design is interesting. A nice game for Xbox One.

After completing it, I think that is a game that delivers what it promises and I had a nice time with it.
The gameplay is interesting and the levels are short and different each time, but due to the casual platforming approach it's better to play in short game sessions.
The silly story work for me, it's a weird combination of pop culture there :D For an ID@Xbox game it's fun and full

Funk of Titans is a very average game amongst amongst a lot of average xbox one arcade titles. In a game which so heavily focuses on music in the "story" I would have expected some recognisable tunes in amongst the bland repetitive noise that was happening throughout the game.

The game play is fairly standard, to say you could easily beat this game with two fingers is fair, you can jump

The game play is fairly standard, to say you could easily beat this game with two fingers is fair, you can jump and attack and thats it, there are no attempts to add varity to the gameplay at any point, the levels do no get more difficult or more interesting, even the "boss" battles do not get more difficult, the qte patterns are the same for each boss, im pretty sure I could do the qte's from memory now.

When you look at other runner games, such as runner, this game lacks one important aspect, satisfaction from completing levels, in runner every level you beat is a major high because the game is difficult, this game hands you victory and makes you wonder why youre even bothering to play it.

The one redeeming feature is the ease and speed of the 1000 gs, if you are buying this game for anything other than the easy 1000 you are going to be disapointed.

I think it was a really fun and creative game. Fast and varied levels, with lots of humor. There is also a lot of repleyability if you are a completist. Definitely worth checking out.

Funk of the Titans isn't likeable, though, and it manages to squander what little goodwill the premise engenders through terminally awful gameplay.

Even if you could play Funk Of Titans on your phone, for free, it is so ludicrously sketchy and tedious that it would still be impossible to recommend. So on Xbox One, for the positively gaudy introductory asking price? No way, José.

It's not disastrous, but it is bland. [Issue#121, p.87]
