Don't get the fuss for this game. The driving mechanics feel forced, reaction and turning times don't feel right at all. It's like they can't make their mind up if it's arcade or simulation. There are far better racing games out there.

Unfortunately what I got was an Arcade racer marketed under the Forza brand. This is not a simulation racing game, if you are purchasing this expecting realistic driving you're going to be disappointed. Even with all the assists off you can come into a turn, slam into the brakes 20 feet prior, and take the turn cleanly and lose minimal time when compared to taking the turn properly.

I wasn't even able to salvage this game through its multiplayer as half of the game modes in a circuit are random gametypes that aren't even races.

If you are looking for an arcade style racer I would imagine you would really enjoy this game, but if you are someone who is expecting a simulation experience like I was than hopefully you read this review and just wait for Forza 6, don't waste your money like I did.

Im my experience this is a rich persons Need For Speed. After a day of playing Horizon 2 I was bored stiff of the ridiculous story, the fictional English "mate" who just wont shutup, getting called "dude" off some female mechanic, the pish poor sound track and the arcade experience the overall feeling the game provides. Its a boring, uninspiring slog of childish tasks, that are really nothing more than a slightly different version of Horizon 1. To compound my dislike the multiplayer is just as lacking as the solo mode is albeit during the multiplaying its a wrecking fest soundtracked by screaming children and "adults" slinging abuse and yelling at one another. That aside, it thinks its Forza Motorsport because it shares cars, the tuning and upgrade options, and some of the presentations visuals. Its Forza in name only. Its a poor, rehashed, recycled Horizon 1. The graphical presentation is a marginal improvement of Horizon 1 not the massive improvement i was led to believe by most other reviews. The game world is large yet boring, the cars and mostly the same since Forza 3, and the general uninvetivness of things to do just gets repetitive after a while. Its neither fun, rewarding or challenging online or in solo mode. So for the overall experience ill be trading it in, sticking with Forza 5 and hoping that this trend of cashing in on franchises ends soon in the hope that something refreshing and invigorating comes along sooner rather than later. Great for arcade racers, silly kids and and wannabe race drivers. If like me your a purist/perfectionist who enjoys and challenge and reaping the fruits of hard work and real driver skill stick to or try Forza Motorsport 5! Expand

Very boring. What's the point of an open world when you're stuck inside a car? Waste of effort into world building imo. They should stick with just track racers. On that note, the graphics were also disappointing, not much better than the 360 version. Sound design is also lacking compared to other racers, overall a very disappointing package. If ever there was an overhyped racer, this is it. By racer, I don't really mean racer...... More like old aged Sunday driver. Physics, handling, "Europe" and the single player are far from top shelf. It's only Europe cause they stuck in some vineyards and roundabouts and it's actually kind of offensive. There is a distictly unpopulated feeling with little to no traffic. I don't know howIf ever there was an overhyped racer, this is it. By racer, I don't really mean racer...... I have to ask, why the consoles can have 4 controllers? Even a racing game dont support local multyplayer! The new halo, destiny, this game, need for speed.... A father cant play with his son? I cant play with my brother with only one console and 2 controllers? Why?

It looks great, handles like a cookie cutter Forza game. but the major problem with this game, like many others on consoles: 1. It's a racing game. 2. It runs at a measly 30 fps. The reasons why it runs at this ridiculously low fps and not 60 fps at the very least are unimportant: it's the fact that it does. Racing games should also be at 60 fps. Go big or go home.

I heard that it is a really good game, so I went to buy it, and I started playing. I started to drive, and I found myself with controls that aren't easy for me, because I make a lot of mistakes in Forza.
