    Fortnite is an overrated game that should have never been. There are... "microtransactions" *shudders* and, well, i don't care enough to list all the bad stuff. i'm just giving it a 1 because the zombie campaign was "okay" before 2017.

    I guess this is one of those games, that you either love or hate.

    In my case I played a few matches, even (due to being probably match makes with other first timer players) made #1 in one match. However, I did not enjoy this at all. Combat is chaotic, there is almost no difference between match #1 and match #999. Same map, same tactics, same rush to higher ground. Sure, the    I guess this is one of those games, that you either love or hate.

    However, I did not enjoy this at all.

    Combat is chaotic, there is almost no difference between match #1 and match #999.
    Same map, same tactics, same rush to higher ground.

    Avoid, much better FPS available. I've also seen some offensive ID's, doesn't seem like devs are doing much about that either.

    One of the most overhyped games of this gaming generation. Controls layout is awful for a console game, game is filled with mictrotransactions, helped pushed out the mediocre battle royale craze, etc. The only good thing this game has done is help create Epic Store (thereby ending Steam's monopoly), emote dances and memes.

    I can't recommend this game and the behavior of the developers is forcing me to write my first review. I used the feedback button many times, I adressed directly on twitter, I wrote on Facebook and I wrote an email to the supporters. But they just don't care. All they want to hear are positive news about their game. There is no will in improving or making better.

    I bought the Founders Edition deluxe, with a copy for my daughter. So I spent 90 € on this game. And first, especially if you see videos everything is so exciting and new. The gameplay is smooth, the characters are fine, the loot is overwhelming (at first).

    But if you are into the game for a few hours, you recognize it is a big cash maschine. The only way to loot and lvl your gear up is through llamas. And the normal llamas, as well as the rare llamas are containing a lot of trash.

    I opened, thanks to the Founders deluxe editions hundres of llamas. So far not one single legendary character or weapon. Just normal stuff.

    The biggest problem of this game is, that there is no sense in doing all that. The zombies don't drop loot. The treasures in the world are only for the next games, no chance to find any schematics. You do the same over and over again for nothing. This game is, with this state of play, a total waste of time and money.

    They just want, you put more and more money into that game for a really boring early access. I played hundreds of games in my life. But this game so far is the first game I regret spending money on.

    The behavior and the goals of the developers are really something you should be aware of!    … Expand

I feel sorry to anyone that actually enjoys this piece of **** game. I have only had fun on the game when stoned as hell and even then it's still a ****ty game.     Avoid this like the plague. The game almost seems to capitalise on anger. I could feel myself getting angry at the game and wanting to go back for more, but then I asked myself what the point was when I could be playing much better games. One major gripe I have is with loading times - ridiculous in number and length!

    If your kid is playing, take some responsibility and make sure they're not addicted and get them some decent games instead.    … Expand

The game play is awful, I found myself sitting is a house, waiting for someone to come and I stayed there for over 10 minutes. This game is also a cash grab, Epic Games makes it look like its this amazing experience even thoughI tried this game for an hour, gave it a chance. That is an hour i will never get back.     i like this game but it does not function properly bad server lag and fps drops are unacceptable in a game that has probably made close or more than a trillion dollars and the grind for the battle pass is too long.

    absolute worste battle royale game EVER. this "game" is really a downgrade from PUBG , except that you have to build a woodshed in order to hide in it.

    In game purchases ruins the moral of this game. When first witnessing the loot, it heavily shows the coins to spend to get loot. You can either grind missions for these coins or daily goals, but you can also spend hundreds of dollars for instant coins to get better loot. To get new weapons, characters, survivors, and also traps come through the loot from these crates.
    Crafting is confusing and will make more sense on PC. But it doesn't have good directions on how to repair items or craft them. The tutorial doesn't teach you that.
    Leveling is confusing even with the descriptions that don't real change or have a big impact on the overall game play.
    It's disappointing that now games have these insane in game purchases to change the overall impact that makes a good game. I don't see any overall replay ability when other games come out and leave this game in the dust. This is my opinion so no hard feelings.    … Expand

    Not going to waste a bunch of time writing a long review. Simply put, Fortnite is fun for the first few hours, then becomes stale. The game starts to feel repetitive after a while, and you end up feeling like there's not much more to do other than what's already been done. There's a great basis for an amazing game, I just feel like the execution isn't there.

    and you can defend just using your base and relying on the material of your walls to hold up or you can hop right in and melee or shoot these zombies trying to destroy the item you’re protecting…
    this tower defending is thrilling at first…
    it’s fun to explore collect and craft new weapons…
    getting better chests based on you and your teams performance
    inside of these chests are xp chips, items, skill points, and llamas…
    llamas are also loot items that you break open for survivors, heroes, weapon schematics, and xp chips as well…
    these chips go into leveling your favorite heroes and survivors up that you assign to your squads and bases for support, as well as leveling up weapon schematics…
    you can also earn xp by retiring duplicates or weaker heroes and survivors as well as recycling unneeded weapons…
    and skill points obviously go into a skill tree…
    it’s fun getting all of this loot at first and the game gives it to you at a very generous pace.. Keeping the initial few hours with this game addictive...
    sadly the gameplay itself isn’t interesting enough to keep this great loot system intriguing for long…
    it’s the same thing over and over and over..
    the developers couldn’t even be bothered with giving you a change of scenery
    you’re either back at your base, in some random woods, or town that all look and play exactly the same…
    some just have more materials for bullets than others…
    it’s just the same repetitive boring grind of collect build defend as the game slowly introduces new enemies to you
    the game never makes you think of your surrounding or change your strategy…
    its repetitive…
    I made it half way through the game and this is when the game starts forcing you to replay missions multiple times to move forward and I just couldn’t do it anymore..
    It’s a shame because I did love my first initial hours with this game...
    it just doesn’t do enough to stay fun…
    it makes you impatient and starts to feel as though its matches drag on forever…
    while you won’t hate your time with fortine..
    As again I loved my first few hours
    I’d be surprised if it keeps you entertained longer than a weekend…

    Game does not encourage co-op play. Tons of grinding. Boring core game loop that's heavily gated by F2P and SLOW mission progression. Prepare to be standing in front of a wall and holding down RT the majority of your time. DO NOT PURCHASE!

    if you want to play a game that last less then 30 seconds to 1 minute and getting mad this is your game my god i dont think ill ever buy a game from this company ever again if i wanted to play with cheaters and people with no social life but live and breath this crap i'd pick this pile of crap or better yet it free for PC my god go by a gun now and shoot your friends in real life!

    Fortnite is a game that gets boring after the first few matches and does nothing to keep me invested in it, maybe i will come back to it once save the world is free, but battle royale is not keeping me invested right now i also don’t like 3rd person that much but it fits with how the game plays

    The shooting is, its far from the best shooter that I have played but the shooting is serviceable and good enough for a free to play game.

    There are three game modes, solo, duo or squad. Solo is 100 people and they're all out for themselves trying to be the last survivor. Duo is 50 teams of 2 competing against one another to be the last 2 on the map and Squad is 25 teams of 4 competing to be the last ones on the map.

    The gameplay is simple. You start in a flying school bus as it takes you across the map. You can jump at any point and start anywhere you want on the map. Once you land, its time to start looting to find weapons to kill people with.

    How is the offline and online?

    There really isn't any offline. It's an online shooter.

    Is there any single player?

    Nope

    Would I recommend it?

    Maybe, if someone is looking for something to do. I would recommend it only because its free. The free makes it so its low risk for anyone to try it.

    This game is not as good as what people say it is. I get some fun out of it for the first hour, but after a bit it gets kind of boring. There are micro transactions galore, and I understand that's the business model of F2P games, and that's no excuse. After a bit, it becomes the same old, same old. It has it's good parts, but it's mostly trash.

    I went off this game after season 7. If you are looking for a battle royal then get call of duty warzone. It is FREE and is a much better game.

Fortnite is the bar for battle royal type games and as someone who doesn’t play those very often I find myself playing Fortnite on a somewhat normal basis as of late. The cartoonishly colorful art style of the game proves thatFortnite truly isn’t a game for everyone but, it certainly rose to popularity extremely quickly and it’s still a reigning champion game on twitch and YouTube. Fortnite is the bar for battle royal type games and as someone who doesn’t play those very often I find myself playing Fortnite on a somewhat normal basis as of late. The cartoonishly colorful art style of the game proves that graphics aren’t everything, and the cosmetic skins and emotes are a main draw for players. Unlike EA, Epic Games consistently works on one game instead of pumping new ones out and it’s truly paid off. Epic Games has managed to turn a basic battle royal game into a lore filled adventure with changing maps and lots of celebrity influence. Even without consistently playing the game I always know what’s happening in Fortnite because of its steady influence on our online society. The most recent Travis Scott concert event drew 12 million players into the game and I can honestly say the concert was an “experience” that I truly didn’t expect from a game like Fortnite. Fortnite always one ups itself with every new event and I’m never let down creativity wise. Of course the game isn’t very forgiving towards newer players and with no real tutorials for building or the basics many “noobs” are either left to their own devices or must rely on a veteran friend. With every new update something more complex gets added as well, new game modes, new layouts, new maps, and with no end in sight. Without paying for battle passes or buying vbucks you are left with few cosmetic options that are almost impossible to grind for even after hours of playtime. In conclusion, this is a must play for almost every serious gamer and is certainly worth checking out at least once or twice, even just for an event.… Expand

I was surprised to when I saw the talent trees and what all could be unlocked. I just discovered as you levelSo much fun, more going on under the hood than just zombie grinding. I was surprised to when I saw the talent trees and what all could be unlocked. I just discovered as you level up you can set up your other heroes to go out on their own to gather resources and more survivors. The amount of heroes to use and unlock is pretty cool, all setup on 4 skill sets, constructor, ninja, outlander and warrior. Each group has their own base skills but different heroes also get different skills as they level up. I have a constructor named Hype who has a "decoy bot" she throws out that draws the zombies to one spot which is different from the Penny constructor who has a "Bull Rush". Then you set up support survivors that give you better stats to do what you do when in field. Along with fortifying your base and upgrading it every few missions. There is a lot to unlock after you finish the tutorial and i'm still in the first act.

    The characters and enemies are very stylized but in a good way. The mechanics is easy to pick up but takes a while to master. So lots to see and do here going forward. I see a lot of replay value for myself. I also enjoy playing it with friends and family. (seems pretty kid safe too, no blood and guts, like other zombie games)

    The only downside i see is Epic pushing their coin on the cash shop (and only reason I gave it a 9 out of 10), but hey, everyone's gotta make a buck right?    … Expand

    This is a grinding game to the fullest. With that said, it is fun to play especially with friends. I have found it to be just as challenging to play with friends and what you think is enough traps to hold back the horde. You do have to spend time harvesting material you need to build traps and weapons, but that's the fun in it to me. I don't want a game where it is easy to do everything.     First, I love parts of this game. There are elements that work very well and are quite fun. I am still actively playing and will continue to do so. However, that being said, I cannot recommend this game for the average gamer at this time. The game is far more incomplete than implied by the slick marketing campaign that was released prior to the NDA being lifted. At least 50% of the mapFirst, I love parts of this game.     - There are constant update and fixes to keep the game stable.
    - The map is ever changing and reacts to real life events.
    - The game is influenced by popular media, for example dances and memes.
    - Creative storyline with fun characters.
    - Design wise it is impressive and high level for animation.
    - Interactive and ever changing.

    Cons
    - Their is a divide in story between Battle Royale and Save the World, I wanted their to be a connected between the two or a subtle mention in Save the World about a battle island.
    - Always bugs when a patch comes out
    - Weapon balance issues
    - Aim is a little off and sometimes no where near the target.
    - Needs more LTMs
    - Not solo player friendly in Save the World or Battle Royale

    Biggest pile of garbage ever. Weapons are overpowered and unbalanced. Takes an hour to reload and fall from sky when you jump out of bus. No enemy tracking, so they show up behind you and one shot you with an overpowered shotgun. Seems like its geared towards hardcore players and builders. Not a fun or good gaming experience.

    The game starts off super easy, almost making it seem as the classes / communication are irrelevant, but I have dropped into higher level games and seen a preview of the difficulty curve. Definitely need more coordination and planning as you get past level 19 zones.

    There are several different game types / objectives. some feel very similar to each other. from watching the youtube I know there are a few more interesting game types and enemies I haven't encountered yet.

    Update 8/9:
    So Basically at this time, the game is fun, but really there is not much incentive to go beyond level 30. Resource / Backpack management is pretty bad and the loot too too expensive / time consuming to get. If Epic doesn't fix the "pay to progress" its gonna kill this game.

    I still play the level 20ish games because its fun if you ignore trying to progress.

Instead of a military plane, in Fortnite we jump from a party bus. the premise is still the same though,up to 100 players are dropped into a map which is constantly shrinking due to the Blue Zone/Storm, with the goal of looting weapons and gear in order to become the last person or team left standing.

    At first glance you might be forgiven for thinking that Fortnite is a kids game and that would be a huge mistake. Whilst the game is massively popular with kids there's a lot more going on than just jumping around the map trying to shoot each other. Take the building mechanics for example. Building in Fortnite can be just as crucial a skill as shooting. Out building your foe can be the difference between an early return to the lobby or that much sought after Victory. It's frustrating to learn the art of building but it can't be overstated how rewarding it is when you manage to out-build someone, knowing that your skills were just better in that encounter. Building used in this way is pretty groundbreaking and sets Fortnite aside from its competitors. Building forts and trying to get the high ground can be important but if like me, you aren't very good at it then you can for the most part get by with just using simpler structures. It's clear though that to really become good at Fortnite then building is a skill worth learning.

    The game is in third person and whilst you do have an inventory system it's very simplified when compared to something like PUBG. It works well though and suits the pace of the game. you can quickly manage your weapons and consumables and each item is easy to identify.

    Battles with other players are very different to what i'm used to on PUBG. They can be chaotic and over very quickly where as in PUBG I've had battles which last for a good 5 minutes or longer. whilst Fortnite doesn't have the tension of PUBG it certainly doesn't lack in the fun and chaotic feeling. I love the loot system in Fortnite, no matter where you drop it is possible to get yourself reasonably well kitted out and get you in on the action or keep you alive long enough to get yourself better loot. Weapons come in a variety of rarities and these rarities can turn the tide of a battle.

    The progression system in Fortnite is really good, especially if you purchase the Battle Pass and is the area that PUBG fails miserably in perhaps the most. In Fortnight you have challenges to complete and levelling up your tiers provides you with fun rewards or XP boosts. Cosmetic DLC can be purchased from the store and there's none of the frankly pathetic Loot box system found in PUBG where you buy a key and end up with a billion red T-shirts. In Fortnite you visit the store, see what you want and buy it. Prices for Skins are a bit steep but you can earn Skins just by levelling up your tiers during a season and as it's a free to play game I guess we can't really say much about it.

    I think for me though the standout area where Fortnite absolutely trounces PUBG is in the way the game runs. Fortnite is so well optimised that its totally understandable to me now why so many players are leaving PUBG behind. Don't get me wrong i will still play PUBG just as much as I always have but one can't help but admire Fortnite for how smoothly it plays.    … Expand

    A fun game, for sure. The game play is fun, and is updated a lot. Each update has a chance of being a map update, weapons, vehicles, or a battle pass. The seasons are all different, one had a new map, one added snow, one added a volcano, and more. The items are too expensive, and that is one of the only bad things. It is still fun, and recommend it.

    I really enjoy this game, due to it's weapons, seasons and other content. But I absolutely hate facing off against tryhards, who just spam walls and bases. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Im a decent player mind you, It shouldn't take 30 minutes + to get 4 shotgun kills. It seems like 80% of the players there are better than you. Dont even get me started on the building on XBOX ONE. It feels like it's not even supossed to be in the game. The fact that Epic Games even considered cross platform play without even optimizing Fortnite on XBOX is obsurd.     One of the most obnoxious games I have ever played. You spend 25 minutes gather garbage weapons and materials, then some loser who doesn't do anything with their lives, snipes you from across the level and you're dead. Good idea, bad execution.
    Oh and great job Epic games for teaching little children that killing and violence is a good thing. Not kid friendly.

The game has seen massive success and now the developers have seen fit to change the game randomly and for no reason for the sake of making the game interesting to casual players. This ruined the state of the game for hardcore players and ultimately caused this games demise. However, the building is a great mechanic (when it works) and shooting is satisfying though it is a bit rough sometimes.
    SAVE THE WORLD:
    From the start save the world was painfully average, however there were two motivators for me while playing:
    1. A sense of progression
    2. V-bucks
    However, BOTH of these have been removed from save the world and now it's just a boring grind fest for nothing worthwhile, the complex skilltree that motivated me to keep playing was removed for a simple upgrade system, and crafting tiers were locked to how much progress you made in the games 'story.' Speaking of which, the games story is meh, though the characters are charming. Missions are repetitive and enemies get stale, though new enemies are steadily introduced so you don't go braindead.
    CREATIVE:
    Creative is in what I can think was fortnite's attempt at killing minecraft. It is surprisingly good however, it's too limited and much too difficult to learn, placing objects in the environment is inconvenient and tedious to do. However, once you get the hang of it, it can be dumb fun with friends, especially once you get bored of the game's steadily deteriorating battle royale.

    SUM:
    Graphic style is wonderful, though it substantially takes a toll in Save the world, and save the world is locked to what feels lower than 30 frames. (battle royale is 60fps) The community is annoying and I want the best for this game but Epic just keeps making poor decisions    … Expand

    This game was amazing in the beginning of 2018, but each season makes it worse. I feel that the only people that play it now either just want to stick with the trends, or continue making money. Save the World is amazing, I would give it a 90, but battle Royale just ruins it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well, this game got invaded by kids sadly. You won't find someone who won't build a villa with free wifi and a veranda when you shoot at them. In the earlier seasons it was really fun playing with friends, but now its really not worth playing, even if its free. I often experience issues like frame rate drops and crashes. The queues are understandable. 1/10
    Now about save the world:
    As an owner, I will not argue and say that it is a great way to get the in game currency. The Missions often feel like Chasing ghosts, except some interesting quests and Missions. Its definitely not worth 40$, im lucky i grabbed it on sale for 20$. If you think, what else you can buy with 40$, the value changes. You can grab Fallout 4 and eventually Witcher 3, which both are goty materials.
    This games teaser came back in 2012, and they still are in beta and they want 40$ for early access!
    Its really absurd, as they promised that save the world would be free in chapter 2.
    I really would love to see an expansion, free for save the world players!
    When you are done with save the world it gets boring as hell and logging in is only worth it because of the rewards.
    In my full play through, i have not encountered game breaking bugs, so it really could be available for everybody, but because of our great developers, its not.
    Epic should really think of something new for save the world players.
    Final Verdict: It would be cannibalism to give this game a 1/10, even a 0.1/10 is overrated    … Expand

Микротранзакции влияют на вашу мощь, игра очень однообразна и если для первого типа людей, перечисленных ранее этот режим может затянуть, то для второго типа людей этот режим может надоесть спустя пять или десять часов геймплея, так как сюжет максимально простой, а игровые механики одинаковые, ничего нового в последующих только 4 локациях нет.     Did I have fun? Sure. Do I think it’s a good game? Maybe. The game has too many licensed material in it. Now this usually wouldn’t be a problem. Yet that’s all the game is at this point.

    Fortnite is becoming worst and worst as the updates go on. save the world is a hot garbage copy of Minecraft and the battle royal is better but is still trash. the people are basically brain dead kids and it's not enjoyable anymore and epic games brain dead employe doesn't help either.

    If i was in 2018 i would say that this game was amazing but as of 2020 players have turned into tryhards and sweats. now it's full of annoying little 8 year old

    Made for pc only. An that's why this game is dying. They don't care about console users so I'm actually glad apple pulled this game cause they deserve it. They're just as greedy. There's a reason 95% of cross platform contests are pc users. It's made for them an they get aim assist an there's nothing keeping them from building at 100x faster than any console users.     this game had potential, but it ruined it. with unbalanced weapons to **** building mechanics and now bosses that have bad AI this game sucks. This is an honest review I have played this pile of overrated garbage many times. it was slightly ok when it came out but it has gone downhill fast.

    Very average game but I give it credit for how big it got and for popularizing the battle royal game mode. Thankful Call of Duty added it to their game.

    Repetitivo, chato, maçante, ele é literalmente: defenda isso, colete aquilo, construa isso e faça isso tudo de novo 260 vezes por 20 minutos até zerar a campanha, aliás, Twine Peaks nem terminada está ainda por cima

    This game is fun but nowadays there to many sweats, totally ruin the game seeing as I can’t go 5 minutes without TTV_OfficialJustinYt sniping me from 300 metres and cranking 90s like it’s World Cup finals... Good game overall though

    One of the worst multiplayer games of all time, Fortnite has subpar gameplay and graphics and is only fun if you play with friends, unlike most multiplayer games like overwatch and R6. To sum everything up, Fortnite is boring.

    If you have friends to play with and want to devote a good chunk of time into it, Fortnite can showcase a lot of entertaining times with some great teamwork and cooperative builds. As it stands right now though, I think gamers should wait a little while and see what gets added, changed and tweaked. Maybe by then there will be some more variety added to spruce up the tired repetitive gameplay and it will be more of a game that will make a more positive impression on those who play it.
