Nice graphics and optimization, but p2p totally runied the game. Also, microtransactions in b2p game? Srsly?! You can buy resources and boost your equipmnet for real money.

It is impossible to play, the game disconnects you from the match sooner or later just like in the beta, they say they already gave servers to the game, and the truth is still the same, please do not buy it or you will get a big disappointment

The gameplay had promise but at this point its clear the game is dead. great combat system revolving around reaction time and planning doesn't work when your servers null the reaction time. At this point its a spam fest because countering is near impossible. The multiplayer failed due to this but theres still a singleplayer campaign so thats a plus. only issue there is, its bland and has really nothing to it at all. By the end of the campaign you just wont care about any faction or character. Its just another box on there checklist. Expand

Straight to the point, the game is redundant; in the single player campaign you fight weak opponents with a "difficult" enemy as the boss while the occasional mission throwing in a few more "tough" enemies offset by tedious mini games that only take away from the good in this game. The story line was predictable and the characters unmemorable, seriously I can't remember their names, andStraight to the point, the game is redundant; in the single player campaign you fight weak opponents with a "difficult" enemy as the boss while the occasional mission throwing in a few more "tough" enemies offset by tedious mini games that only take away from the good in this game. The story line was predictable and the characters unmemorable, seriously I can't remember their names, and the final boss fight being one of the easiest in the game (this was on the "hard" difficulty.) My opinion doesn't stem form a lack of a challenge but the simplicity of the combat as well as the pace. I found myself waiting for the enemy to strike so that I could parry them and get a few hits in then repeat, any more aggression and the AI would mercilessly punish you (think dark souls.) I found myself bored with the single player relatively quickly and see little reason to replay.
Disclaimer: If you are going to get this game, get it on PC as you can not remap the controller on the console. I so badly wished to move some of the controls around for a more comfortable feel but there is absolutely no changes to the controller layout (again console only.)
Multiplayer- Another console-exclusive issue I've noticed is the default "mute", you must enable mic communication in order to speak, a setting buried away but even if you manage to find and enable it, good luck finding someone else who has, in the week I have had the game, I have yet to speak to another player. Nothing like feeling forced to play a game mode that you don't want to play because of "daily quests" that are essential for progression (gear); that being the next issue, in a game that centers around skill-based-combat, there should be no "gear" or "loot" that gives you an advantage over another player but there is and it is infuriating to fight someone who goes into "revenge mode" during a 1v1 fight. Back to the "game modes you don't want to play" bit, do you like being double teamed or triple teamed? In the entire game this has to be the second most infuriating aspect, you are winning a fight against an opponent only for his ally (or team) to come over and start hitting you in the back; at least in comparable games like blade symphony, most players had a sense of...well...honor and would allow the initial 1v1 fight to conclude before dueling the opponent, an event that is non-existent in this game. Finally the most frustrating factor in this game is ironically the combat system, the core of the game; nothing brings me closer to bursting blood vessels than executing a proper parry or block on the controller only to take the hit in-game which drove me to write this review. I would not recommend getting this game to anyone as it is a one-trick-pony fad that probably posses more risk to your personal health than the entertainment you get for the one to two weeks before the shallow gameplay loses it's lure.

This game is probably awesome if you have 3 friends, then you will destroy people pretty easily, but if youre solo you might as well quit now. Im not going to say i havent had my moments, and a majority of the time i end up on top, but i can see where this is going and its not pretty. Theres a lot of fun here but unfortunatly its just outweighed by the annoying things. If youre solo its comes down to this - youre fighting someone, one or two other players come and now its 3 on 1, they all start spamming heavy attacks, guard breaks, and unblockables. I can usually last until i get revenge buffs (an effort to balance out being outnumbered which adds attack and defence bonuses) but it doesnt help much. Unblockables and guard breaks are ok if its one on one, you just dodge, but in a situation like that you just cant keep track of it all. When things like this dont happen its a pretty fun game, but now that people are realizing they can get easy kills this way its happening all the time. You will be fighting and a faster class runs in and spams heavy attack for an execution. This also works the other way, you get a guy down 90% and your teammate runs in and steals the kill.

P2p servers are garbage too. You will be fighting and someone will drop and the whole game freezes to reconnect. That is if you dont get one of the many errors and get booted back to the home screen

Its not a totally bad game, just a lot of annoying things that make it money better spent on other game.

Oh, and if youre interested in the campaign save your money. Its pathetic. People who think its decent need to get out more. Its cheaply done and only lasts a few hours with almost no replay value. The character you play is set and the missions are linear. Let me put it this way, ive enjoyed battlefield campaigns more then this one and thats saying something.

Great fighting system. Very good graphics and animations. HOWEVER - connections and matchmaking issues make the game unplayable. You need around 5 -6 mins to even start a game, and after that you have around 40% chance that you will disconnect due to one error on the other.

I have over 800 hours logged into this game and all I can say in its current state is that you should most definetly not buy this game. It has been in a downhill slide since its release. ( This game has 400-ms attacks with 30 fps+input lag from TV. ) This makes the community of the game VERY toxic because most matches evolve into spam fests or staring contests and promotes a false sense of skill. This game uses a p2p system and there have been constant connection issues since the beta that happened 4months ago, which means you can get disconnected from a match at victory screens or at half-way point without getting any reward, this with a slow progression system tied into the free2play microtransaction model is not a good thing. I cannot recommend this game to anyone in its current state. The game got its first DLC characters a month ago and they were, and still are, so broken they basically killed the 4v4 gamemodes for many people. The developers also seem to be uninterested in fixing these issues and instead keep releasing over priced microtransactions for the game. The game literally has a business model of a free to play game, except it being a full price triple A game. (+ a pay2win gimmick with gear stats) I'm giving it 3 stars because the graphics are good and the gameplay was solid until people started to exploit the game mechanics.

TL;DR: Bad p2p system, free to play business model with a pay2win gimmick. Toxic community and uninterested developers.

Pathetic campaign with only a hand full of cool moments, some classes are broken to being OP, pathetic launch for multiplayer connections, and garbage Deathmatch. Duel and Brawl (2v2) are the best modes that work for this games combat and Dominion breaks the mobs up due to capturing points.

    Pros:
    -Fantastic, fresh, combat system
-Duel and Brawl shine with the combat system
    -Diverse classes
    -Great visuals

    Cons:
    -Pathetic campaign
    -Deathmatch is a joke
    -OP classes at launch
    -Garbage servers

If this game is meant to have a sole focus on multiplayer, then they failed to have it as their main focus. Overwatch is a perfect example as "multiplayer focus" gameplay. For Honor can still rise from this weak launch and has potential for being a gem among the multiplayer games of today. But that day is not here yet.

The game also has 12 different heroes to choose from, all with unique abilities and cosmetic stuff like executions. I would NOT recommend this game if you're going to play it for the singleplayer. This game was meant for multiplayer and that's where it shines. The 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4 deathmatch modes are fun, but unfortunately the main mode, Dominion, is lackluster. The matches in Dominion are just chaos. You can't engage in a 1v1 duel (which is where the game is at its best) without getting interrupted with the waves of AI or other players. The other solely combat focused modes are fantastic though, and let you have concentrated battles with real opponents. The 4v4 elimination mode spawns each player in with an enemy and they have to duel it out before going to help their friends. After all the bloodshed the last team standing wins. It's a very fun mode and makes 4v4 matches actually playable without all the annoying AI crap. 1v1s are also fun and let the player focus solely on 1 opponent.

Now the bad: The servers are horrendous. It's impossible to find a game. Rainbow Six Siege had this same issue when it released, but For Honor has it much worse. I've probably only PLAYED the game for a little over an hour, the rest of the time has been just waiting to join a match. Sometimes the matchmaking works. Sometimes being 10% of the time. 90% of the time you wont find a game. I legit pulled out my phone and watched youtube for over an hour and never found a game. It's not my internet either, most games work just fine. I can't believe Ubisoft would release the game in this state.

For Honor could have been a 7 or 8 out of 10, but considering I payed 60 bucks to stare at a loading screen for 5 hours I can't recommend it. Wait for them to fix the servers before making a purchase.
Maybe that wasn't very short or sweet, but whatever. The game needs to be fixed.

The game has no punishment for people who run away, and it is nearly impossible to catch up and finish them off. There's a steep learning curve but once you get it, you'll be executing Knights, Vikings, and Samurai with ease. There's lots of videos on combat and on the basic and advanced moves for each character. I'd recommend playing everyone at least once, and then choosing your favorite to focus on and level up. It's also beneficial to practice blocking and attacking if you have a friend in custom match. You can change the settings so that you both receive ieve less damage so that you can practice longer without dying. Also save your steel on scavenging gear till you at least get to Reputation 1. The rarity of the items you get from the chest depends on each characters level so buying them early for level 1 gear is just a waste. Story mode isn't very deep but can be a fun break from multiplayer. It can be coop as well so you can play with a friend. There are some issues with the game though, which are the currency and connection. Currency in the form of Steel can be bought with with real money which then can be used to buy a range of things, but the main issues come from maxing out your characters feats with some steel and things that give an extreme unfair advantage. For the connection issues, I would say if you ever played Rainbow 6 Siege then you'll be used to connection problems. Sometimes you'll connect to a game within 30 seconds, others times minutes will go by without a single teammate. Perhaps this will get better in time, but when the game does connect it's very fun. Although people will complain that enemies will run away instead of fighting to the death when their losing, that's just part of warfare. That's a strategy you should be aware of that they might use, and should try to corner them into a wall to cut off their escape. There's a counter to everything in this game if you just have the patience to learn it. If you enjoy highly skill and competitive based game, that takes a little bit of work to get, but has a high payout then I'd highly recommend For Honor. Expand

There is an amazing game trapped behind some very poor design choices. For a game that requires server connections in order to be played, there has been a surprising lack of attention paid to user friendly design.

The Co-Op campaign is an example of this right out of the gate. Between each chapter of the campaign, whoever is the secondary user is booted back to the group menu, and misses all of the story elements that are covered while the next location is revealed. They receive an incorrect message stating that they have been removed from the group, and only load in when the primary user initiates the next chapter. It's clunky, one user doesn't actually get to experience the campaign and the user flows are ridiculous.

The more troubling point, is that the game connections are P2P, not dedicated servers. What this leads to is upwards of 60-70% of matches ending in a disconnect, or error. The meta game for the multiplayer is based around gaining XP and gear through completing matches, and "Orders", a kind of additional task list that grants additional resources and XP. The issue here, is if you get disconnected, then you lose all advancement in both categories.

With the P2P matchmaking, as far as I can tell from playing for the last few days, you might not get disconnected if only one player leaves the match. Now if two or more players leave, the matchmaking instability and odds of a fatal error are nearly 100%. That means if either team has someone quit because they are not doing well, you have a 50/50 that you are going to lose all progress made in that match. All but one match I have been in that was a landslide victory for one team has ended in a disconnect. This is an insane design choice from a player griefing stand point, and I am gob smacked that this made it through QA, and ALPHA test and a BETA test without being resolved. One of the main issues here is that they are also selling a service in game for currency that you can either earn or purchase that grants you bonus XP and resource drops, and this service is based on a set amount of time. If the matches you are playing while on your purchased bonus are are being invalidated by instability, you are really just wasting your money investing in the game.

So, the land slide victory issue comes down to the matchmaking mechanics seemingly not working as intended. There are both regional and skill level filters, and as far as I can tell, these are bypassed almost immediately, even at times and in game modes when the user traffic is listed as very high. It could be that the user traffic feature is not working, however, and that is the underlying issue. I mean, I am told every time I log in that I haven't played for from 15 hours to 3 days, so player profile tracking is certainly not working as intended.

Here is the most frustrating thing, however... and that is that when the stars align and everything is stable, this is one of the most fun games I have played in a very long time. The combat mechanics are a fantastic evolution from games like Bushido Blade and Kengo, easy to pick up, but once you figure out the deeper mechanics, things really get interesting. I have had some of the best, most chess like duels in this game. I have had some of the best 1 vs 2 brawls in this game. The actual gameplay is addictive and fun, fast paced and rewarding.

There is a great variety to the game modes as well, from Domination (a zone capturing staple game mode), to 1 vs 1 and multi user duels. The campaign has been fun from what I have played, but being as I am trying to complete it in Co-Op, it's been a little trying to get immersed in.

All in all, I love this game and it's game play mechanics. I don't mind the micro transaction system, it isn't anything I wasn't expecting and by design, you can unlock all content through playing the game. The problem here is that, in it's current state, the game is nearly unplayable. Let's hope that there is some kind of magic patch in the works that is going to pull this one together, because people in my gaming community are already turning their backs on this title, and contacting Ubisoft for refunds.

Wait for the price to get down to $20 or less. A much better similar game would be Ryse: Son of Rome. It was a Xbox One launch title from Crytek. You even play as different characters with different fighting styles throughout the chapters..
I was surprised what I got with the campaign…
The story was interesting, as it deals with the art of war…
and the gameplay manages to feel fresh throughout most of the campaign...
You never really notice that you’re doing the same thing over and over... which is going checkpoint to checkpoint and killing everything in your way for xp…
This is very much a game for the aggressive type...
    No stalking your prey here
It is worth actively picking fights and searching the surrounding area and not just running to objectives because the game does have points of interests to give back story to your location.. They’re pretty well hidden though which is a shame because I loved listening to them as I fought… and it brought life to the level...
And killing enemies again gives you xp...
There’s a story level cap of 30 and as you level up you’ll unlock new perks like the ability to heal yourself or boost your damage or defense…
As well as pick up consumables throughout the level to use in combat to poison enemies, catch them on fire, heal your allies just to name a few
It doesn’t quite have a AAA campaign feel to it though…
It feels very much like an afterthought… but it still managed to put in a few surprising moments in there that I wasn’t expecting with the type of game this is...
I felt it was a great campaign... but far from amazing...
And I’m not sure if it’s the gameplays fault or the setting, but during chapter 3 as the samurai, all interest in the story disappeared… the game started to feel repetitive, the level and mission design started to feel lazy and I was ready to just hop into the competitive modes…
But I still definitely recommend playing through the campaign first..
Dealing with Ai enemies programmed specifically to act certain ways in combat will teach you all sorts of tricks for dealing with human enemies... and it takes the combat system deeper than the tutorial does putting you way ahead of the competition as at this moment only about 4% of players beat the story..
You’ll learn how to deal with annoying blockers, light attack or heavy attack spammers... as well as use combos and easily be able to handle groups of enemies…
The Actual Multiplayer is pretty great too for a while..
When the game starts you choose a faction but you can still use any and every character...
The faction is just the team you’re on fighting to take control of the map...
    It does reset every month…
And there are tons of customizable options to make your characters feel like yours...
And much like the story mode you unlock feats here as well, which act like perks as you level up
There are currently 5 different competitive modes..
Dominion which is a 4v4 capture and hold game, skirmish and elimination which are 4vf4 team death match games, and finally 1v1 duel, and 2v2 brawl
unfortunately Dominion and skirmish are really the only 2 modes worth playing…
The game does an awful job at distributing teammates evenly and fairly…
But these 2 modes are where this matters the absolute least…
    In Elimination, duel, and brawl...
This is where the flaws and imbalances of the game and its characters start to show…
Some characters have spammable and unlockable attacks that put you on your back or leave you defenseless…
And online players feel no shame in doing this to secure a win…
The fact that there are so many unlockable moves really ruins these modes…
especially when they can mean instadeath near a ledge in a duel…
    These modes ultimately feel cheap…
There ultimately isn’t enough in For Honor to keep people playing for months…
The game is hard to pick up and unlockable spam attacks ruin player encounters..
But it’s still a great game... at least for a little while…
    I give For Honor
    an 8/10

I am giving this game a low rating for 3 reasons.

I am giving this game a low rating for 3 reasons.

Second. They need to implement a ranking system. Once you get high enough gear score there is no insensitive to keep playing. Give players a reason to keep playing.
Third. Balance the characters. There are 3 characters that are dominating the game right now.

This game is good on the fact that it does have some really good move combos that you have to learn and know how to dodge. You also have to know how the other characters work to know how to counter them. The graphics are pretty good as well. This game is lucky I am giving it a 3 rating. If they fix those 3 main issues I would bring this rating up to 8.

Some flaws include players running away from a battle being an effective strategy, a very limited number of classes (3) and levels, and not all that much difference in the fighting styles of the different characters.

But overall, I'd say get it, play it, enjoy, and hopefully they'll release a patch and some DLC to boost the replay-ability as the weeks and months wear on.

It offers a simple base mechanic, locking on an enemy and camera controls for left, right, and up attack or block, you can guard break, grab, dodge and roll and parry.

The difficulty lies in mastering the classes, each has their own buffs and abillities, the raider is an all round slow attacker, but has a lot of stuns and guard breaks abillities. The orochi can't block indefinitely but has a times block for counter abillities. So 3 factions, 4 classes allow for a lot of diversity in terms of balance, but the game handles this really well, learn your class abd you can stand against any other class.

There are 5 multiplayer modes and a story mode, story is a nice addition and all in all it works. MP is the true star of this game.

there is duel 1v1, brawl 2v2, Deathmatch 4v4 and Domion 4v4 the main course of this title.

Dominion is a moba based mode where you hold control points to score points at a 1000 points the enemy team breaks and you have to finish them off.

Then there is the faction war, select one of three factions, Vikings, Samurai and Knights. Playing modes gives you war assets an you can conquer territories for your faction this way. A round lasts 14 days and is updated every 5 hours for 6 rounds in total.

All in all For Honor is one of the most refreshing titles in years and I definitely recommend even though it has very steep learning curve.

Unfortunately in multiplayer instead of player vs player the devs have gone for a more ''player vs player vs gravity'' style approach. When the game was first released everything was spot on as the community hadn't twigged to using the heavy/hybrid/pusher characters to get cheap, easy kills by pushing enemies off ledges, pitfalls or into spikes. Unfortunately it's extremely difficult if not impossible to consistently and successfully counter the throw - You have about a second window to hit the relevant button which is easier said than done. Because of this the characters geared towards throws and charges have a distinct advantage. The community has twigged to this and I constantly end up going against multiple pushers/hybrid characters. I'd consider myself a relatively good player, I get decent KDs in skirmish and dominion however I struggle not to be pushed off ledges for an instant kill. At the end of the day why would you hack, slash and counter enemies multiple times for a kill when you can press the 'x' button once and have a kill. I wouldn't say these characters are OP however they are very cheap and other players don't have the ability to counter their throws reliably.

Brawl and Duel modes (1v1 & 2v2) suffer from maps littered with edges and instead of playing guard and attack players focus on throws. I have no intention of tweaking my armor to increase throwing distance - I have much more fun and satisfaction during swordfights which is where the game excels

Unfortunately the game is starting to feel unplayable partially because of the broken combat system but also because of the absolutely terrible peer to peer matchmaking. The game constantly disconnects you if a hoast leaves, when a player leaves the game freezes and breaks your guard if and when it boots back up. The matchmaking does not cycle games, you will always fight the same team from the last game and if the players leave your group will be returned to menu - unfortunately you will need to re-invite any friends you were playing with at the end of every round where this happens.

Hopefully the devs will realise and release appropriate patches to tackle these issues.

The combat mechanics are fantastic. I gave the game a 7 because I believe this sort of gameplay on more of a truly two-sided mass multiplayer map would do a lot better. And if they added a deep single player story to it then it would without a doubt be a 10. A lot potential with the mechanics of the game.

Concept: Vikings, knights, and samurai fight for a thousand years in a conflict that nobody really cares too much about because we’re all too busy watching this one guy get his head lopped off and his body lifelessly tumble off a bridge and into some beautifully rendered water.

Graphics: The environments are varied and textured to an amazing degree. Characters looks great even though they are all strikingly similar up until you’ve leveled enough of your gear to truly make a name for yourself and stand out from the pack. Every environment also features accompanying dynamic weather changes and patterns which look and feel believable and fantastic.

Sound: Although you’ll mostly hear cries of pain and anguish, metal on metal, and other sounds typically associated with combat or films, the soundtrack is a great, resonant accompaniment as well.

Playability: Like any good fighting game, For Honor is easy to grasp and difficult to truly master. The mechanics are simple and straight forward, the means to defeating all of your enemies are laid out in front of you, and yet the path towards your objective is sometimes blocked by an incredibly agile samurai warrior who claims your life time and time again.

Entertainment: For Honor is a semi-flawed experience in that its fun and atmosphere hinge upon a networking system which boasts many prevalent issues at the current time. However, the experience as a visceral fighting game and realistic depiction of combat and battlefield tactics is unparalleled and often well-realized. It is a fun experience if you can handle connectivity issues for the time being.

    Replay Value: High.

    Overall Score: 8.0

Man spielt nacheinander alle Fraktionen (Ritter, Wikinger, Samurai) in jeweils 6 Missionen.

For Honor bietet Potenzial.

The lack of dedicated servers/ ineffective servers to facilitate competitive multiplayer matches result in the game crashing constantly. I've played this game non-stop for three weeks, and I don't think I've managed to complete a single PvP match yet without the game dishing out one of a multitude of error messages. I've fared much better in the PvAI mode, but what I want is to fight other players. Unfortunately, this seems an impossibility. The game indicates I have a strong internet connection, and my NAT is set to open, but nevertheless I can't get through a single PvP match. This is an awesome game, squandered due to poor facilitation. What a shame!! Expand

The combat is amazing and the classes are wide and balanced. This game will follow R6: Siege style, with constant updates, bug fixes and class balancing.

Despite its online functionality flaws, For Honor’s multiplayer is still a strong force to be reckoned with and the single-player is on an epic scale. The in-depth customization of your hero along with the deep fighting mechanics, leaves a lot to unlock and learn for months to come.

Okay, let me just start off by saying, it is actually an 9 out of ten for me. I put 01 because I felt like it deserved more credit as a game, than it is getting. This is a far from perfect game, but is one of the most fun games I've ever played. I quit it back in Season 4 and came back 2 days ago, but honestly, I am already bored.

For honor definitely deserves better than a six where its average is but no more than a seven. When I first played for honor, I was ready to give this game a 9 or even 10 out of ten. However, after all the serious server issues and the fact that you get kicked from games quite often and most frequently, its right when the round is literally ending, and lose all the rewards you fought hard for. They also created a game called for honor where too many players can play completely dishonorably. With stuns, throws, unblockable attacks and just overpowered characters, it can make the game very hostile for new players. Certain characters, particularly the warden, can get into chains of unstoppable attack that basically ruin the fun of the game. However, when your fighting fair and once you have managed to master some of the more complex abilities like actually using the more complex maneuvers, parrying and strategically using revenge mode to turn the tables you have a game where you actually can fight more than one player and there is a lot of skill involved in it. And IMO, the level of skill required dictates how rewarding a game is once you have succeeded. Trust me, I have played 4 vs. 4 games where you barely pull off killing 3 or even 4 players alone on many occasions and it makes you feel on top of the world once you succeed at this. There is something very different and unique about for honor and while it has managed to disappoint for many other reasons, I would still hope for Ubisoft to finally pull their head out of their butt and fix some of the major server issues that still exists to this day. I swear sometimes I still get kicked when some crybaby on the enemy team rage quits and this makes it very hard to continue playing and loving this game. Its such a entertaining form of combat that holds your attention and when you succeed, you will feel a sense of accomplishment you get from very few games. Everything combat based is fine with me; the things that bring this game down are the problems stated above. Expand

Therefore, I'm a little shocked to see this many bad reviews. Yes, the game can be repetitive after a while, but the many game modes, classes and combat strategies can distract you from that. Graphics, textures and animations are just amazing, and the game runs smoothly, so no problems with that. Combat mechanics have never been done like this before in any game, not even in fighting games, it feels like you're in control all the time, which is exactly how hardcore hack and slash multiplayer games like this should feel.

Now, onto the negative, campaign is shallow, not terrible, but just not good enough. It's clear that it's been put there just as an add-on since the game is based in it's multiplayer modes. Which leads me to the second major flaw of the game: the community. I feel like people really don't understand how to play this game. Most people just focus on winning and getting the kill rather than enjoying the experience. Just as an example: it is literally impossible to engage in a 1V1 duel in dominion since either your teammates or enemies will rush in to get the takedown count up. This, of course, is not the devs fault but in clearly worsens the game, which is why this is not a 9 or 10/10.

All in all, it's a good game people. Try to find a party that suits your playstyle, respect the dynamics of the game, play fair and you'll have an amazing time.

There is very little balance and heros who can non stop spam attacks and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Just die. The toxicity in this game is an afterthought considering there are a lot of ways to grief players. This hack and slash button mash had a lot more potential then this. Ubisoft gas ruined yet another great looking game

They continue to overpower characters which benefit them with money and neglect balance.
The games mechanics are a joke with every patch they fix a visual glitch which nobody cared about while the game is rotting from the inside.
This game frustrate me so much i have never been so emotional about a game while hating it so badly, even if you win you are not satisfied and you feel its cluncky and bad.
Characters which deserve attention dont get it while the devs take in consideration the very god damn least requested thing and doing exactly the opposite of what the community wants.
Its filled with soooooo many toxic players whicu try to get the devil out of you.
A game which specifically requires a millisecond of reaction is running on 30fps on consoles making the animations half smooth, in addition of letting players with a stable ping above 100 to remain in the game.
It takes me on average 10 minutes to find a server of 7 players in totall (me being the 8) and thats for the most popular game mode in the game (dominion) and my nat is always open, internet always good so connectivity is never an issue for me.
If anybody is even reading this i am a totall rep 124 and i dislike this game in every way.
And i am gonna avoid talking about the super crappy launch state it was at the beginning with p2p servers and getting kicked 7 out of 10 games.

    Good:
The game play is unique and its a one of a kind, as a rep 440 i just love this game.

    Grafic is amazing.

    Level design is awesome.

Many thing to chose: Duel/brawl, Dominion, Trubute ,DM and the new breach.

Many new heros to chose now.

And playing with BOTS without them the game would have died long ago.

    Mixted:
Hard to find a match :( special in DM.

Elimination and skirmice is not separately so you are force to vote on Elim or skir, and Elim players dont like Skir and Skir player dont like Elim.

    Long Loading time per match.

Arcade is way to hard and the bots have ninje reflexes, and with no "normal diffeculty menu" like every other fighting game has they use the armor rating which is useless.

    Bad:
For Honor have the most toxic and retarded player base ever, i stop playing pvp back in 2017 and just focus on pvAI and lately i just play pvAI without machmaking as some players who play pvAI are just as retarded as the pvp community.

To many "get gud" tard in this game which is not good ad all, they only fragsteal and gangbang.

After the lates patch bots can seams to focus on one player and they keep switch between players, and if you run into to enemy bots or more fighting a teammate bot, those enemy bots forgets your team mate bot and both/ or more will fight you and not your team mate bot. Which its kind of lame your team mate bot can beat the **** out of them from behind becaus they are bugt and only focus on you.

    Server crashes sometime.

cheap steel from playing matches way to greedy, every thing cost way more then its worth to unlock.

micro transactions should be disable only greedy retard inplant **** like this.

The loot system. RNG. And events is stupid and take for ever to get.

Upgade armor and weapons cost steel.

Some event is only pvp which is stupid when you have pvAI

Some heroes is way to op.

Most bots have 360 degree defence reflex special the retarded Corona faction China.

    request:
    Remove micro transactions.

change loot system to get better loot or play like 200 steel to unlock armor and weapons parts Upgade armor and weapons should only cost materials NOT STEEL.

The game feels faster paced with snappier responses than other midieval battlefield games like Mordhau or Chivalry without being a mindless hack and slasher, but they really can't be compared. I've heard this game described as a realistic midieval combat game and it's not, kinda far from, it's a fantasy game that doesn't stray too far from reality. I won't lie though, it does have its pitfalls. Single player is a minor one, but if your looking for a single player game alone I do not recommend this game. My main concern comes with the skill cap and community. I've been playing this game since day one and have been addicted ever since, but when I try to bring some friends into it with me I notice that the toxic competitive behavior isn't restricted to my reputation (level). It is very frustrating for new players to get into this game, the difference between a veteran player and a fairly new players is just too large, and a lot of your veteran allies here do not seem to have too much patience for the inexperienced and your veteran enemies will more than likely gloat and taunt you. As much as I want whoever's considering this game to join us, I can't deny the frustration of being stuck with the die-hards.

If one of your concerns is the P2P servers, I'd like to point out that those reviews are old and Ubisoft finally gave us dedicated servers.

For Honor is a good game with good graphics, however the community could be a lot better, especially with these bad reviews. What I do have a problem with is crossplay. Crossplay makes the game completely unbalanced for us console users. PC players who run at more frames than us have a clear advantage. Other than this, the game is pretty good and you should definitely give it a try.

The people that are complaining are just not good, don’t have good taste, think the game is “too easy” (which is totally not the case since you have to adapt to other people’s play styles), or have been harassed by the community into oblivion.

It’s a frustrating reality, but one Ubisoft is already working diligently on a fix for. Like Siege, For Honor is in the beginning stages of becoming something truly unique and brilliant. If you’ve ever struggled to get into fighting games, are eager for a new multiplayer game to try your hand at, or are simply interested in what happens when Ubisoft diverts its resources out of populating open worlds with content and into an experience that thrives because of its nuanced design, then try For Honor – you won’t regret it.
