    Fishing Barents Sea is a Commercial Fishing Simulator. You've inherited a ship from your grandfather, and figured you'd put it to use, and make some money. Your starting ship is small, and it will take a good few trips beyond the tutorial to get your next ship. The tutorial at the beginning teaches you how to use longlines, a single line with 100 baited hooks you leave out and return toFishing Barents Sea is a Commercial Fishing Simulator. You've inherited a ship from your grandfather, and figured you'd put it to use, and make some money. Your starting ship is small, and it will take a good few trips beyond the tutorial to get your next ship. The tutorial at the beginning teaches you how to use longlines, a single line with 100 baited hooks you leave out and return to later and reel in. Fishing in this game is a collection of mini-games, all fairly simple, the long line is like a rhythm game, where you hit the button at the right time. Your options for boats is quite nice, and once you make it to some of the larger ships, you won't have to worry too much about money. Trawling is the later game method of fishing and can pull in some amazing hauls. To increase the value of the fish you have the option of gutting the fish, another minigame where you follow the dotted line along the fish, the cleaner the cut the better the price raise. The World Map is enormous, and navigation can be a bit timely. There is a fast travel option, but it will consume twice the gas, so be careful. Playing Fishing Barents Sea is a relaxing, almost Zen-like experience, as there isn't too much that can cause to much trouble.     Sometimes you need a break from all the shooters and action games. This is where Fishing: Barents Sea Complete Edition comes in; when you just want to sit back, sail your boat across some open water and commercially catch some fish for some profit. Just be prepared to sink a ton of time into it if you want to make any real progress.

    Fishing: Barents Sea Complete Edition on Xbox One is an ambitious game that does provide some fun should you wish to go about harvesting the sea. But ultimately it is crippled by a dreadful travel mechanic.
