    Great game, passing much more fluid. Player speeds more realistic. Defense more responsive. Training mode better. Manager design better.

    The game play is the best of any FIFA I have played (I started on FIFA 12). Fast players can NOT blaze by defenders if you play against them correctly. Legacy defending (pre RB+A) is much more heavily emphasized, so anyone who relied solely on letting the AI defend for them as many many people did in the past few editions of FIFA (i.e. the people leaving bad reviews and saying the game isThe game play is the best of any FIFA I have played (I started on FIFA 12).     i love it best game made ever, assassins creed valhalla was a disappointment and same with watch dogs 2 and call of duty world at war sucks ass so im happy at least one game is good this year unlike rainbow six vegas for the xbox 360

    The real reason why FIFA 21 is great is because Career Mode got major improvements. I love it. Feels real. Gameplay is better and the game of football is always nice. Overall, this is soccer. And the experience on playing on the pitch is always a dream.

    Insanely better than FIFA 20. Like so much better. I've been an avid FIFA player since FIFA 14 and FIFA 20 was absolute garbage, a disgrace to the franchise. But FIFA 21 actually got it right, it feels good. It feels fair. They're still working out some kinks that need to be fixed after release, but this cant be easy coding lol. Ultimate team rewards way more coins than in the past, makingInsanely better than FIFA 20. Like so much better. EA Sports was in a similar position creating the game for fans and also was competing in the same fashion with's rival PES. FIFA’s online Fantasy Squad Building Mode, Ultimate Team, FIFA still has focus on microFIFA 21 - This year, football had to work remotely. EA Sports was in a similar position creating the game for fans and also was competing in the same fashion with's rival PES. FIFA’s online Fantasy Squad Building Mode, Ultimate Team, FIFA still has focus on micro transactions but could the game cranked out remotely and still deliver on the expectations of the football-starved masses of the long time franchise. First impressions point to a subtle update of the kind you might expect under pandemic conditions, but extended game play reveals a game that is fast, fluid and full of ways to score spectacular goals. In comparison, FIFA 21 is outright outrageous. Goalkeepers are no longer easily beaten at the near post, but can barely save anything else. Finesse shots are back along with headers being feasible. You can even chip the keeper possibly too much. Close control while dribbling with elite players is right on par, and you can direct off ball runs using a suite of contextual controls that prove satisfying and fun to master. Overpowered tactics have been refined. Skill moves can be chained together, but complex ones have their issues, and though Team Press is now useful for pursuing the ball when you lose possession but it’s not something you keep up for 90 minutes, which feels more realistic. Football fundamentals feel stronger, most notably on passing. Moving the ball around has always been FIFA fast, but is now clearly tied to the players real capabilities. This emphasis puts the onus on learning to defend, where the odds are stacked against you. The game sports less automatic defensive support, goalkeepers feels as though there are less unfair rebounds as well. You can at least get away with the less effort leg breaker, because refs are more lenient. Away from the pitch, the biggest change to Ultimate Team is the addition of co-operative play. Both will receive rewards and progress for playing, but there’s no online matchmaking, so you’ll need a regular Fifa friend to utilize the feature. Fitness and training cards have been removed as well, which is a welcome update. New stadium customization and “live FUT friendlies” features are less exciting. FIFA 21 also retains and evolves its Career and Volta modes. Career is a single player pursuit that now has shades of Football Manager as you survey games from an overview and develop players by converting them to new positions as they improve. Volta is five on five street football that lacks depth, but it makes up for that in fun. If you can tolerate the semantics and the fact that it’s basically a playable version of TV ads, the Volta story mode is a solid diversion, I suspect Volta won’t be hot until fully integrated with Ultimate Team. FIFA 21 is off to a strong start. If you’ve played FIFA over the years, you’ll have no trouble picking it up and scoring for fun, and if you want to probe more- there’s a lot of new to learn and the endless siren call of regular Ultimate Team events to keep you coming back for more, even in the absence of any massive new features. Football has been hard to enjoy this year, but FIFA 21 easily makes it easier to enjoy on your Xbox One.… Expand

    Better Artificial intelligence than any other Football simulator game I have ever played and gameplay became better however it can improve more.

    They improved the passing, and heading in gameplay.
    They also have new features in career mode and FUT, but still disappointed by pro clubs not much changed except for AI customisation.

    The only real major issue with this game is goalkeepers they refuse to save basically anything
    That's a big issue but the rest of the gameplay is fairly good
    Credit where credit is due gameplay is far better
    But menus are buggy and slow
    Especially ultimate team,menus lag for no real reason
    Stadium upgrades is a great little addition
    The removal of fitness items is a fantastic thing, quite the game changer tbh
    Pro Don't listen to these clueless clowns crapping in the game for no real reason
    It's not anywhere near perfect but it's a decent game,best fifa as of right now before the first big patch in a long time
    Dribbling is really fun and satisfying this year    … Expand

    The Game plays better than FIFA 20 but it's not a 60£ game. Some changes were made but it's not enough to ask full price again.

    FIFA 21 is better than FIFA 20 but there is still a lot to become "good" again, not to mention that dribbling became too appealing and the gameplay had no innovations but more bugs, the new development system is the only feature that works 100% in the game the rest contains many fails.

    Les actions demander ne sont pas toujours celle exécuté.
    Une IA des gardien inconstante, l’ordinateur sort des super arrêt et l’action suivant plus simple à ne parvient à l’arrêter La défense compliquée à gérer. EA ont baser l’IA de l’arbitre sur les arbitres de la « Ligne 1 Uber EAT » donc catastrophique et buger. Le jeu a du    Jeu AAA, mais avec des problèmes de jeu indépendant.

    The game it's improved from Fifa 20... But that was a very bad game.
    The menu navigation on Xbox one X is very slow and annoying... Frustrating that on the best console it's moving that slow. Only from there you want to do exit not to continue anymore.

    The same game as every single year. Only reason it’s not a 1 star rating is because the FUT challenges and customisation is quite enjoyable

    The reason I give this game a 3 is that the gameplay is absolutely horrible. It's so unbalanced, everything is about the same way of playing. Skillmoves skillmoves skillmoves. Just stupid. EA have actually done a good job this year with all the content they are giving out. Lots of nice players to play for.     Its Fifa 20 with a few bolt on extra's defending is awful,passing and shooting is clunky and player ratings are....lets say out of wack! Fouls are off and goalkeeping isnt really there!

    Fifa 21 is the worst fifa in last 5 years. I gave 2 only because they improve career mode a little bit. Gameplay is the worst one i have ever played, as in ut as in career. Sharpness in career is so unneccesary thing. Pace doesnt matter because pique is faster than someone with 90 pace. FIX FIFA!!!!

    Geared around getting the 1% to spend a tonne of money on ultimate team, no other game modes looked at or cared about outside ultimate team. Giving a 2 as it is still probably the best football game outside of rocket league.

    The games relatively well made and all from what I’ve seen, but honestly there’s not a big enough difference from FIFA 20 and FIFA 21. Same goes for FIFA 20 and FIFA 19, every game is just a copy paste (from 2016 and onward) refuse to pay over £60 for a copy paste folder. Also ultimate team is a waste, don’t spent money on it, just get a new video game in general....

    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    1. Goalkeeping is useless. You can easily score and the game is so predictable. 100% a breakaway goal is always going in. but if you take a finesse shot it will usually be saved. Making Finesse shots useless at this point. 2. VOLTA is a wasted game mode. The Defending AI is complete garbage. the Goalkeepers make no help in like in 11v11.    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    3. Career mode is still awful. the fact that you have to go into the calendar just so you don't get stopped every 2nd day is so annoying. (Luckily if you beat the training once with an A. Your players will always get an A. which I'll give them that) The player's conversations are so repeatable it's insane. The press conferences are still the same things with no new dialogue.

    4. Gameplay. Gameplay is very predictable. if you're playing on Ultimate with competitor mode on, you'll be seeing the same spam skill moves with drag-backs and more. there are some moments where it feels good however that's where we go into my next part

    5. Formations, The only one that works is 5-2-3 or 5-1-1-3 for me at least. If you have only 4 defenders you're going to get defeated and destroyed (sometimes) maybe this is just me.

    6. FUT. I don't play this mode however the stadiums look cool. but can't believe it took them till FIFA 22 to add them and they are a big feature.

    That's all I have. This game is pretty crappy at its heart. FIFA 22 is coming with some bug fixes for 60 bucks. Create a Team looks fun. but this has been in the game years ago and they didn't even add sponsors. I think FIFA 22 will be an improvement but not like the Glory years like FIFA 10-15    … Expand

    If only PEs has full licenses to teams, players and stadium.. this game won't be able to see daylight.
    I stopped play FIFA since 17 version. Tried this FIFA21 through EA play trial... wow, it turns to arcade party with fancy none sense dribbling. Not much changed since 17 version to this one.

    Has EA paid for the reviews for these 80% plus rate?

    FIFA 21 hasn't re-written the wheel but it is fun, fast attacking football and hopefully EA have big plans to shake up the franchise next year for its true next-gen console experience.

    Fifa 20 continues its dominance, albeit in the absence of real competition. The new tricks give us more entertaining offense play and the career mode is more dynamic than ever. Volta has also been updated to the point of almost becoming a separate game. Despite this we do notice that EA cannot go further than this on today's consoles, and we look forward to a new entry for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

    Chances are that you’ll already know what you’re getting into with FIFA 21; while it may be broadly similar to last years effort in its game feel, with a few good tweaks and subtle changes, that’s kind of to be expected with an annualised sports franchise. The improvements that have been made across some of the modes are welcome, and offer up new ways to enjoy the series. It’s also rather lovely to look at, and should be a fine showcase for the upcoming Series X|S come launch day!
