    The game it's improved from Fifa 20... But that was a very bad game.
    The menu navigation on Xbox one X is very slow and annoying... Frustrating that on the best console it's moving that slow. Only from there you want to do exit not to continue anymore.

    The reason I give this game a 3 is that the gameplay is absolutely horrible. It's so unbalanced, everything is about the same way of playing. Skillmoves skillmoves skillmoves. Just stupid. EA have actually done a good job this year with all the content they are giving out. Lots of nice players to play for.     Its Fifa 20 with a few bolt on extra's defending is awful,passing and shooting is clunky and player ratings are....lets say out of wack! Fouls are off and goalkeeping isnt really there!

    Fifa 21 is the worst fifa in last 5 years. I gave 2 only because they improve career mode a little bit. Gameplay is the worst one i have ever played, as in ut as in career. Sharpness in career is so unneccesary thing. Pace doesnt matter because pique is faster than someone with 90 pace. FIX FIFA!!!!

    Geared around getting the 1% to spend a tonne of money on ultimate team, no other game modes looked at or cared about outside ultimate team. Giving a 2 as it is still probably the best football game outside of rocket league.

    The games relatively well made and all from what I’ve seen, but honestly there’s not a big enough difference from FIFA 20 and FIFA 21. Same goes for FIFA 20 and FIFA 19, every game is just a copy paste (from 2016 and onward) refuse to pay over £60 for a copy paste folder. Also ultimate team is a waste, don’t spent money on it, just get a new video game in general....

    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    1. Goalkeeping is useless. You can easily score and the game is so predictable. 100% a breakaway goal is always going in. but if you take a finesse shot it will usually be saved. Making Finesse shots useless at this point. 2. VOLTA is a wasted game mode. The Defending AI is complete garbage. the Goalkeepers make no help in like in 11v11.    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    1. Goalkeeping is useless. You can easily score and the game is so predictable. 100% a breakaway goal is always going in. but if you take a finesse shot it will usually be saved. Making Finesse shots useless at this point.

    2. VOLTA is a wasted game mode. The Defending AI is complete garbage. the Goalkeepers make no help in like in 11v11. They will likely easily miss the ball and the Goalie AI will usually be insane.

    3. Career mode is still awful. the fact that you have to go into the calendar just so you don't get stopped every 2nd day is so annoying. (Luckily if you beat the training once with an A. Your players will always get an A. which I'll give them that) The player's conversations are so repeatable it's insane. The press conferences are still the same things with no new dialogue.

    4. Gameplay. Gameplay is very predictable. if you're playing on Ultimate with competitor mode on, you'll be seeing the same spam skill moves with drag-backs and more. there are some moments where it feels good however that's where we go into my next part

    5. Formations, The only one that works is 5-2-3 or 5-1-1-3 for me at least. If you have only 4 defenders you're going to get defeated and destroyed (sometimes) maybe this is just me.

    6. FUT. I don't play this mode however the stadiums look cool. but can't believe it took them till FIFA 22 to add them and they are a big feature.

    That's all I have. This game is pretty crappy at its heart. FIFA 22 is coming with some bug fixes for 60 bucks. Create a Team looks fun. but this has been in the game years ago and they didn't even add sponsors. I think FIFA 22 will be an improvement but not like the Glory years like FIFA 10-15    … Expand

    If only PEs has full licenses to teams, players and stadium.. this game won't be able to see daylight.
    I stopped play FIFA since 17 version. Tried this FIFA21 through EA play trial... wow, it turns to arcade party with fancy none sense dribbling. Not much changed since 17 version to this one.

    Has EA paid for the reviews for these 80% plus rate?

Every attacker seems to have become a streetfootballer with many tricks and because the defense is not developed like the attackers, you can do very little against approaching goals. It is really sad what this game has become.

    Pros:
    - Some nice changes to career mode that l will make you think carefully about the tactics and development of your team

    Cons:
    - EA wants to make a spectacle of every game; goals, goals, goals
    - Development of attackers and defenders is completely out of balance

    I've read most part of reviews and the summ that nothing were changed. I've watche gameplay and what i've seen - nothing. You know it's looking like they just had do nothing really nothing.

    This "new game" is the next instalment of the Fifa series, and should you be disappointed. I will go through each important mode and aspect of this game starting with:
    Career mode: Although there have been several changes to the mode, the same old gameplay hold back this mode's potential yet again. I will go through each important mode and aspect of this game starting with:
    Career mode: Although there have been several changes to the mode, the same old gameplay hold back this mode's potential yet again. The simulation aspect to the manager career mode, where you can sim matches and jump in at any time you want, make subs, and change the way your team played, is what the community asked for many years ago. There will be no passes given on that. Also, contract and transfer negotiations still take longer than ever. There is no setting to change the speed of this cutscene, so you must sit there and watch your character barely talk through their lips.
    Ultimate Team: There have been no significant changes to make me want to play this game mode. Another year, another game to advertise to underage children and create bad spending habits. The stadium upgrades was something that I was looking forward to, but with no motivation to actually grind out the FUT Champs and Squad battles modes, there is no reason to play the game. EA continue to screw your decaying body by having a worse pack luck than Fifa 20. I spent $20 on both games to compare how many rare players I would get, and the result was staggering. Not only did Fifa 21 lose to its predecessor, but it was a chore having to watch the same stupid pack opening animation every time I opened one. You get no stars for the absolute shafting you give this game mode every year.
    Key Gameplay Changes: Fifa 21 did make some key gameplay changes with this Fifa. The frequency of attacking runs, and the lethality of these runs have been slightly modified to suit some players needs. However, it just seems like most of the time the players are lazy and not wanting to make attacking runs behind the defense, or opening up in space to receive a pass. It truly doesn't surprise me when EA said they would fix these things, and they are lack luster at best. And to be honest, I think that's all I noticed when actually playing the game. Everything else is STILL THE **** SAME.
    In conclusion, I realize that me saying all of this is not going to change anything, because us football lovers are stuck with Fifa. Playing Fifa is like an abused partner going back to the abusive partner. Battered Wife Syndrome I believe it is called. They keep beating us down with crappy cut-and-paste games every year, and frankly, I don't know what else to do. I just wanted to play a football game that can make me feel something. Some joy, some hope, some self-esteem, and make me feel like what I play is worth it. EA takes advantage of every consumer they manage to persuade. Like that same abusive spouse coaxing their battered partner back with promises, they themselves know they won't keep. What should happen with the next Fifa? It should be cancelled, class-action lawsuits should be filed, and us football lovers should get what we deserve; a loving company, who is willing and determined to give football fans around the world the ability to experience an AUTHENTIC, FUN, and UNCOMPRISINGLY GREAT GAME. I am fully for cancelling yearly releases so that developers can actually make good improvements to a game that I love very much. in closing, Fifa 21, EA, you are a disgrace to consumers around the world. And I hope that someday you will realize that making good games this the key to making money, not this phoney monopoly money you think is good, tangible success. I rate this game a 1/10.    … Expand

    Avoid this game. Save your money. Its the same as last year and the year before. Not been a decent fifa since 14. FUT is there to rinse money from kids and is legalised gambling for under 18s. There are many horror storys about this. This is the only mode EA care about as nothing has changed in the other modes in half a decade. Avoid at all costs people

    Game is just getting worse. All about pay to win. Game is just about pace and doing random skills the leave defenses in bits. It's not about football at all. You can have an 88 rated striker but if he doesn't have 90 pace he's useless. Can have a 70 rated striker with 90 pace and he'll rip you a new one. Also skill moves are way overpowered, defenders don't know what to do when a skillGame is just getting worse. All about pay to win.     Ea hate players that like to def by slowing them down every year i have never seen a tranfer market so low for defenders they should just have a 0 0 10 formation and be done with it. And what about the fact you cant change the formation to counter how the other team play on fut.     If this was a new IP, then it would score higher (a 6 maybe). But after fifa 14/15 nothing has changed massively. The only improvement, which was a feature in older FIFA games, is the simulation option in Career mode. You can step into the match at any point.

    For the rest, you are playing an old game with new rosters and old bugs that excist for years, which are still not resolved.

How little did they test the game before release to not notice this! 2. Penalties galore. You can’t even attempt a tackle in the box even if you get all ball and then the player falls down, it’s a penalty!     This is disappointing, first of all the campaign has had no time put into it like 19 did secondly the Ultimate team is not skill based matchmaking and dont get me started on the game play itself wow

    FIFA 21 hasn't re-written the wheel but it is fun, fast attacking football and hopefully EA have big plans to shake up the franchise next year for its true next-gen console experience.

    Fifa 20 continues its dominance, albeit in the absence of real competition. The new tricks give us more entertaining offense play and the career mode is more dynamic than ever. Volta has also been updated to the point of almost becoming a separate game. Despite this we do notice that EA cannot go further than this on today's consoles, and we look forward to a new entry for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

    Chances are that you’ll already know what you’re getting into with FIFA 21; while it may be broadly similar to last years effort in its game feel, with a few good tweaks and subtle changes, that’s kind of to be expected with an annualised sports franchise. The improvements that have been made across some of the modes are welcome, and offer up new ways to enjoy the series. It’s also rather lovely to look at, and should be a fine showcase for the upcoming Series X|S come launch day!
