    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    1. Goalkeeping is useless. You can easily score and the game is so predictable. 100% a breakaway goal is always going in. but if you take a finesse shot it will usually be saved. Making Finesse shots useless at this point. 2. VOLTA is a wasted game mode. The Defending AI is complete garbage. the Goalkeepers make no help in like in 11v11.    This is very late but, This game is awful.

    3. Career mode is still awful. the fact that you have to go into the calendar just so you don't get stopped every 2nd day is so annoying. (Luckily if you beat the training once with an A. Your players will always get an A. which I'll give them that) The player's conversations are so repeatable it's insane. The press conferences are still the same things with no new dialogue.

    4. Gameplay. Gameplay is very predictable. if you're playing on Ultimate with competitor mode on, you'll be seeing the same spam skill moves with drag-backs and more. there are some moments where it feels good however that's where we go into my next part

    5. Formations, The only one that works is 5-2-3 or 5-1-1-3 for me at least. If you have only 4 defenders you're going to get defeated and destroyed (sometimes) maybe this is just me.

    6. FUT. I don't play this mode however the stadiums look cool. but can't believe it took them till FIFA 22 to add them and they are a big feature.

    That's all I have. This game is pretty crappy at its heart. FIFA 22 is coming with some bug fixes for 60 bucks. Create a Team looks fun. but this has been in the game years ago and they didn't even add sponsors. I think FIFA 22 will be an improvement but not like the Glory years like FIFA 10-15    … Expand

    There is not one positive I can give this game. I think a lot of people would agree with me when I say that this is THE worst game EA have conjured up. Glitchy, unfair, and repetitive, EA have somehow made this Fifa worse than the 5 before it despite it literally being a clone of them. Not buying Fifa 22. I sincerely hope that EA dissipates.

    Avoid ultimate team at all costs. Spent a lot of money on players, they disappeared one day. EA have no record and basically my money might as well of been thrown down the drain. Aside from that the game is glitchy and feels rushed. Been playing fifa since fifa 96 but will be returning to PES

    I didnt think this game could get any worse, but boy how wrong was I? This is just a random game of ping pong. I decided to give it a go as it turned up on Gamepass but even for free it's not worth the download. Dire doesnt even begin to describe the online game. Just truly terrible. If you are thinking of giving it a go.... Do yourself a favor....DON'T!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was your supporter since fifa 18 on Ps4, but F21 is my last edition and I tell you why:

    * cards from the packs - I have played more that 1k mateches since F21 has been launched and never received player worth more than 50k. Whar would be the cost for you giving me unchangable player ?
    * Fut masters - its really frustratring me, I am 4 DIv player and know what skills they are representing. When playing Fut champions, I feel i may receive 4-5 players inside my skils for every 15 games I played. It means more than 10 players seems to be skill 1-3 DIV. Why championship matching looks like this ? Game should give some fun to the user, If so many players are outside of my level of skills there is no fun to play. most of them are outside of my skills, that making games really annoying.
    I can understand its championship, but when I am loosing 1-2 games system should match a player with simmilar skills to me to keep championship fun.
    * rebounds - when playing with a player with a skill seems to be greater than mine, algorythm shold help me to keep the ball when rebounds happen, Instead of it, most of the rebounds comes back to my oppoonent, its really annoying when opponent is trying to shoot from my box and the ball comes back to him at leat 2-3 times,where are my defenders ? , its nothing realiistic.

    As i said , F21 is my last edition, you were made everything to discourage me as a player from bouth new edition in NOV21.    … Expand

    This is without doubt the worst FIFA in its history. Gameplay is shockingly inconsistent, matchmaking is very poor, connection in gameplay is laggy and glitchy. EA obviously don't care what their customers experience in this game, its all about making money. Buy FIFA points to have the best team to win. Such an unfair game. Last one i will be buying. One of many customers leaving id imagine.

    For a company that makes literal BILLIONS on FIFA Point sales. It’s clear to see none of that is invested in anything that would benefit the consumers. Gameplay is absolutely awful and servers are on the decline. Content is mainly based around FiIFA Point sales and this is clear to see.     Nie so ein schlechtes FIFA gesehen.

    I have been playing FIFA since 2015. Despite the poor graphics, a small number of different game modes, etc. in the past parts of fifa I wanted to play around the clock. I started to dislike the game with the release of FIFA 19. Nothing has changed, and the gameplay has become worse. However, there are some things that make FIFA 19 and 20 different from 21:
    1) In Fifa    The worst FIFA.
    I have been playing FIFA since 2015. Despite the poor graphics, a small number of different game modes, etc. in the past parts of fifa I wanted to play around the clock. I started to dislike the game with the release of FIFA 19. Nothing has changed, and the gameplay has become worse. However, there are some things that make FIFA 19 and 20 different from 21:

    1) In Fifa 21 you can quickell your “cheap beasts”, because the difference in the game is made only by players whose price is above 50k. Bailly, Mertens, Gervinho INF, Zakaria. Remove them from your club. Thus, EA are trying to make you donate.
    2) Coin inflation. I have never donated to FIFA, only trading. For comparison, I will give an example, Eden Hazard cost 250k in December in FIFA 18, but in FIFA 21 he cost only 40k. So, it’s not interesting for me to play and trading coins anymore.
    3) It's unbearable to play with a computer in offline match. For example, you are winning 2:0, but at one point the computer starts to play as an esports player and after a few minutes you are losing 2:3. It’s so unrealistic, isn’t it?
    4) nothing decides in a match like a handicap. Now it’s really difficult to play with weak player, it’s simply unreal!
    5) Since FIFA 19 gameplay gets worse and worse. Now, it’s unpleasant to play in this game. EA only trying to raise more money from the player instead of working on gameplay and career mode.

    I will advice you to leave this FIFA, showing your protest. I play FIFA 17 and happy enough, this Fifa is awesome for me. I waste 60 $, so I don’t want u to do so, even when FIFA 22 will be released.

    The games relatively well made and all from what I’ve seen, but honestly there’s not a big enough difference from FIFA 20 and FIFA 21. Same goes for FIFA 20 and FIFA 19, every game is just a copy paste (from 2016 and onward) refuse to pay over £60 for a copy paste folder. Also ultimate team is a waste, don’t spent money on it, just get a new video game in general....

The gameplay is terrible. Since i bought it, I pushed myself to play but it lasted 2 months and that is all. The CDM’s in the game are sleeping, really sleeping. No coming back, no action whileI had great hopes for Fifa 21 however it ended up in great disappointment.     Every year more and more functions are cut off of the game, FUT 21 now forces you to play online to grind for coins, but instead of FIFA 14-15 where you could set FUT matches to be 4min per half now it is 6min and the grind is so insane ppl will abandon the match unless they can easily win, so you will not have a good match online. In an exhibition match (me vs wife) the game gave me a penalty cause the GK (with the ball secured) got up on his feet but there was one player close to him that fall off and well... the game called that a penalty.... this is the worst FIFA I ever played since the first I recall in 94.     For all those who do not know how stupid this game is, I will only mention the "momentum" / "handicap", which during the match causes your players to move in slow motion, have delayed reactions, cannot pass hard enough to the runner forward and Mbappe is slower than Hummels (really). The AI ​​of the defenders and midfielders in this game is Monty Python. I've already tried all the settings, but they are still passive. They do nothing. The defenders still break the offside line, and the midfielders come back on a slow walk. That was at least fun this is sweaty and disgustingly broken. I am not even able to control my own character when the computer wants to.     I refuse to give this company any more money. Played the trial in hope of a new satisfying career but it seems like they've ignored us again. They even rubbed salt in the wound by putting "build a stadium" in FUT? Why cant I do that with Salford in the Prem?

    Goalkeepers are absolutely terrible and struggle to save a single shot and the distribution from them is even worse. . Defending is literally the worst thing I’ve ever seen, with defenders running away from the attacker, missing tackles constantly and being all round terrible.     Ultimate team is the biggest pay to win scripted pile of trash I’ve ever seen. If you don’t spend money and have an amazing team. You don’t win. Plus it don’t matter about player ratings this year as only a handful of players actually preform.

The gameplay is horrific, trying to defend on this game is an absolute chore thanks to the defensive AI being next to non existent, players will actively run away and through the ball when on the defence. Goal keepers are an absolute joke and it feels like there is only room for one on the pitch as they either never save anything or are unstoppable. This game is all about one thing and that is who has the higher pace, this is the only relevant stat in this game all of the others don’t mean anything, you like being able to shield the ball with a big ST and put balls into the box, forget it, the LT holding mechanic has completely gone and strength means nothing with anyone being able to push anyone off the ball, is all about this close dribbling sh*te which is the same thing they added back into like FIFA12. Heading is terrible with 9/10 crossed going to the goalkeeper or defender or edge of the D and the 1/10 you do win a header for the love of god do not try aiming the header as the slightest movement on the aiming will sent it to the corner flag no matter where you are aiming. All of this leads to every game being a 10 goal goal fest which is just boring after like 2 games. Ultimate team is as usual the absolute predator of this game as opening packs is the most enjoyable thing about it, I find myself just playing the game to open the packs and get the rewards as the 5 seconds of suspense awaiting for the eventual special card to appear only to have Dzeko for the 10th time, is more enjoyable than actually playing a game. The FUT champions rewards are terrible, I don’t get high enough for top 100 or elite, finishing normally gold but the standards of rewards for the high tiers are shocking, just watch YouTube videos of it and the best player being 85. Leading me to think all of the good things comes in the cash money packs which is **** DO NOT BUY FIFA POINTS. The combination of the above and the overall clunky and generally sh*t gameplay and the fact this game is now simply a glorified gambling machine, but oh wait is worse than a gambling machine because unlike an actual gambling machine where you have the chance to win actual real life money all you get is a virtual man with some high virtual numbers who will be redundant in a years time. But I’ll probably still play this game as EA have a monopoly on football games as let’s be honest PES isn’t a competitor and supporting both EA and Konami is like choosing between a chocolate covered turd and or turd covered chocolate.     Secondly, 50% of the 50 games I played, it just lags and lags, more specifically speed-up lag. You might think "Well, that's obviously because your internet is powered by a hamster running a wheel". But the thing is, I have fiber and cable to my X1 with the speed of 100/250, which is enough to probably play 5 games online while I'm watching Netflix, Disney+ and HBO simultaneously. So I simply dont understand, how is this possible? I play other games like, COD, LOL (PC), CS and many more with no problems at all, but when I play UT, , it's fine for like 65% of the game. But for the other 35 %, you just sit there.. watching when your opponent scores. For instance, you're just about take the ball but then it all stops for 3 seconds. Then the ball is in your net and your defender is halfway through to the other side of the pitch. You just think to yourself "What the *** just happened? why the *** do I even play this game?".    … Expand

Gameplay is inconsistent and can feel like totally different game from 1 match to next. Few cards are ridiculously overpowered even though stats same as some others. Also had a 200K coin card vanish from the transfer market when she an upgrade, no help from EA, still trying to resolve 2 weeks later, they don't care if people are buying FIFA points.     Awful. Defending is difficult, shooting is crap, passing is even worse. The amount of blocking is beyond a joke, FUT is just a money whore. Pro clubs is the same sorry sight it's been since fifa 17.

    Pro clubs could be brilliant if they stopped thinking about money and focused on the players would make it a brilliant game mode.

How little did they test the game before release to not notice this! 2. Penalties galore. You can’t even attempt a tackle in the box even if you get all ball and then the player falls down, it’s a penalty! I'd argue it's probably as scripted as I've seen previously with the squad battles game mode of ultimate team being the worst for it. Clean sheets are an impossibility against even the weakest of al opponent and do make the game less enjoyable all around.… Expand

    If this was a new IP, then it would score higher (a 6 maybe). But after fifa 14/15 nothing has changed massively. The only improvement, which was a feature in older FIFA games, is the simulation option in Career mode. You can step into the match at any point.

    For the rest, you are playing an old game with new rosters and old bugs that excist for years, which are still not resolved.

    It's just FIFA 20 copy and pasted. So many assets are reused from the last game. To charge full price every year for this is just flat out criminal. The career mode has had some new tweaks but the menu and gameplay still feel exactly the same.

    Fifa 21 is the worst fifa in last 5 years. I gave 2 only because they improve career mode a little bit. Gameplay is the worst one i have ever played, as in ut as in career. Sharpness in career is so unneccesary thing. Pace doesnt matter because pique is faster than someone with 90 pace. FIX FIFA!!!!

    I stopped play FIFA since 17 version. Tried this FIFA21 through EA play trial... wow, it turns to arcade party with fancy none sense dribbling. Not much changed since 17 version to this one.

    Has EA paid for the reviews for these 80% plus rate?

    FIFA 21 hasn't re-written the wheel but it is fun, fast attacking football and hopefully EA have big plans to shake up the franchise next year for its true next-gen console experience.

    Fifa 20 continues its dominance, albeit in the absence of real competition. The new tricks give us more entertaining offense play and the career mode is more dynamic than ever. Volta has also been updated to the point of almost becoming a separate game. Despite this we do notice that EA cannot go further than this on today's consoles, and we look forward to a new entry for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

    Chances are that you’ll already know what you’re getting into with FIFA 21; while it may be broadly similar to last years effort in its game feel, with a few good tweaks and subtle changes, that’s kind of to be expected with an annualised sports franchise. The improvements that have been made across some of the modes are welcome, and offer up new ways to enjoy the series. It’s also rather lovely to look at, and should be a fine showcase for the upcoming Series X|S come launch day!
