    Arguably the best Fifa game in recent years, introduces a decent story with a great villain.

    Fifa 17 is the best fifa regarding gameplay. It has everything closest to real football. Any type of goals are possible in this game. After my great disappointment on Fifa 21, I turned back to older Fifa’s and I liked , enjoy and play Fifa 17. Great game. EA should develop Fifa 22 , taking Fifa 17 as base and improve with authentic faces , leagues and graphics.

    É incrível a evolução do fifa 16 pro 17. Times pra caramba, the journey incrível até o momento. Os goleiros tem a melhor animação comparado aos outros jogos, teve um downgrade absurdo para o fifa 18, 19, 20 e 21. Quqndo joguei pela primeira vez, não gostei, achei o 18 melhor. Mas agora acho o fifa 17 o melhor de todos que já joguei (joguei o fifa 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 e 21).

    Normally I would think it`s a typical FIFA game. If you have one, you have all. But the story mode is a nice change to the predecessors. Here you can play as young talent Alex Hunter on his way to the top. That`s a pretty fine novelty for a series that`s known for yearly repetition.

    There are some changes for this game, like the new engine Frostbite, the same engine that is use algo in the Battlefield saga.

    This could've been the best FIFA game with a brand new story mode as well as the other good game modes that come with FIFA but ultimately was disappointing. The story mode ended up being a player career mode in disguise with a few cutscenes, pro clubs and career mode continued to have no changes despite being very popular game modes.     Good improvement in graphics. Most of the game modes remain but the addition of The Journey makes this year's FIFA a must have for every soccer fan. The gameplay is OK, it hasn't changed that much from previous years, but this still is the best FIFA so far.

    Un excelente FIFA, el mejor que tengo en mi coleccion, EA a hecho un gran esfuerzo en casi todo, los graficos se mejoraron, el motor Frostbite...excelente. Y un modo campaña que fue divertido.

    It seems that it is the game that chooses who wins. In the amateur the difficulty is low, and in the semipro goes up a lot.
    This is bad for anyone who wants to learn to play well and does not want to have a very high or very low challenge.

    Love the career development mode. Very fun game to play. I enjoy playing live. Graphics are good and the training option is cool also. Helps get you ready to battle.

    another year, another FIFA game, another full priced roster upgrade dished out to consumers. Aside from the lack of innovation, FIFA ultimate team is basically a glorified slot machine of pay to win **** EA sports, its in the wallet

    The worst FIFA I've ever played in my life since 1996. The fouls are completely unfair as well as the yellow cards and red cards. I was very disappointed in playing such a game whenever you touch an opponent, the referee gives you a yellow card if not a red one.

    Really this version completely sucks! Don't buy it at all.

    Overall different year, same FIFA, career mode is as boring as it has been, but the positives is that there has been the introduction of the Journey which I have personally enjoyed. The graphics are amazing thanks to Frostbite. Other than that same old, same old.

    I have been playing Fifa since '97, this is the most disappointing one. After a month of playing, I am about to put my fifa17 on amazon for sale. I mostly played online, I was in division 1 and won 70-80% of my games. The game is so bad that even if you win most of the time, you cannot stand it. The stupid stuff that players do is    Extremely bad game. Do not buy. You will thank me.

    The game is so bad that even if you win most of the time, you cannot stand it. The stupid stuff that players do is amazing. For example, defense players run away from the ball or opposition; when dribbling, players suddenly leave the ball and start running to a weird direction; world's best players cannot control the ball without struggling with it 4-5 seconds.

    Momentum is another issue that is well known to the Fifa series, but this game cannot be topped. Sometimes one team just becomes invincible while the other starts acting very very slow and stupid. You can see your opponents defense players running the weird directions as you slowly walk towards his goal.

    Also, it takes the game at least minutes to find a match even though there are thousands of players online. Usually, games are lagged, or they stop once in 10 seconds.    … Expand

    Pagar 70€ para que el juego te robe en cada puto partido. Son unos estafadores saca dineros estos de electronic arts, su juego se basa únicamente en la publicidad. Mucho bombo a el camino y luego es una puta mierda que no dura ni 5 horitas. Luego tenemos el ultimate robo, el pay2win le llamaría yo, en el que los jugadores dependen de si a la máquina le apetece que ganes o no. However the servers do tend get a little annoying, there's a lot of maintenance for this game especially for online modes. That aside we can't argue that the game is getting more realistic every year with very nice graphics with the help of the Frostbite engine. One of the new things EA added was "The Journey" it does start to get fun and i love the voice acting and cutscenes but once you play a few matches the tension and drama really isn't there until the end of the season the lack of cutscenes are a bit disappointed I actually really like them but once you are done there really is nothing else to do with the Journey but you do a get a special card for completing the Journey which is nice touch from EA. overall I love the Journey idea I wish they could added more content for it otherwise Fifa 17 is still the best football/soccer game out there so if you can't choose over pes/fifa/other then I would personally go with Fifa it's more fun and the gameplay is miles better.     Scripting, momentum, scripting, momentum, scripting, momentum, 1000 times. This happens with a 1 gbps optical fiber broadband conncection. Worst FIfa ever. I have over 500 hours played only with fifa 17 and other few thousands with the older ones, so I know what I am talking about. This game is made only for money.

    Where to begin on this pile of garbage. Well first let's look at some positives. The addition of The Journey is great, though it is a little short. FUT now has some new additions which are very welcome and add more content. Gameplay focuses or build up play from the back. Now let's look at what is god awful in this game. Now let's look at what is god awful in this game. The recent patches have ruined this gameplay, now it feels sluggish and pressure is stupidly high making build up play near impossible. Input lag is still a thing is these games, how many titles has this been a problem now and it still hasn't been fixed? EA servers are trash, you are likely to experience lag on a frequent basis or be thrown off the servers outright. Pro Clubs hasn't changed when there is so much potential there, EA focus so much on FUT that the rest of the game feels underdeveloped. Defensive AI and in fact all AI are just a joke, absolutely horrendous. Packs and points are overpriced and your odds of getting that 86+ rated player or inform are laughably low, also the fact that EA think charging £79.99 for some FIFA points is fair is what is wrong with games today, if you want to get those big players like Ronaldo you either have to be amazing at the game and always do well in FUT Champions every week, or spend hundreds upon hundreds of pounds in this game to hope you can get the player you want, basically it's very much a pay to win system. Basically this is the best example of a yearly cash cow AAA title where minimal effort is put in but the returns are still huge, at this point EA more or less has a monopoly on the football game market, and since that they have fallen into a typical monopoly mindset that if there is no real competitor then they can afford to put minimal effort into the game and still expect high amounts of money for sales. It's the same hot garbage they sold us last year but with a different coat of paint, even though it's on the frostbite engine, one of the most powerful video game engines, it still looks no different to the previous FIFA's. To conclude the game offers very little in the way of what's new and yet asks for a full AAA title price when really it's not worth that. That and along with the terrible gameplay mechanics in a product that feels half arsed and rehashed. The final verdict for FIFA 17 is a 3/10 and is an epic fail… Expand

    Good improvement on 16 which imo was an appaling game, no idea how that managed to get out of testing let alone be released onto public. However still annoying glitches and bugs present like players walking through each other ect which really needs sorting out. I would say worth buying if you can get it for half price from the sale.     this game is excellent, no more scripted goals, real goalkeepers, and fun, nothing like the garbage of fifa 16, they just have to improve style game of teams offline and a new level of difficulty

    EA have definitely stepped up this year not only do they have a new game engine, who are also the people behind battlefield, but they have added a great new game mode too with great animation and voice acting. At some points i thought i was watching a movie!     Absolutely infuriating. Command lag, server side input lag, passes going astray or massively under hit. Playing this game is less enjoyable than catching gastric flu and being stuck on the toilet until you can only pass digestive juices. EA are a bunch of money grabbing con artists.

    FIFA 17 makes gameplay far more realistic than ever before, this is by delivering amazing details and a massive leap in its graphics fidelity in addition to more game modes than ever. It is definitely the ultimate football experience.

    Sure, PES 2017 may once again rule the play through the midfield, but FIFA 17 has so much to offer off the pitch that it’s difficult to not be satisfied. As long as you can get your head around the possession-focused style of play in FIFA, you’ll have no qualms with its gameplay, but it’s everything else that really sells it this year.

    The impact of changes (new engine, story mode) is not so crucial at the end, especially for the course of matches themselves, but it doesn't change the fact that FIFA 17 is the nicest, funniest and, regarding the content, also the richest game in the whole series. It's just not a revolution. [Issue #268]
