    I honestly didn't see anything much in this game, it has a good variety of weapons but nothing too much, the combat is fun but on the other hand the game is a little boring, in addition to a lukewarm story.

    You see... Far Cry 3 has always been my favorite game in the series. I played it for the first time some 5 years ago and I really enjoyed it and it set my mind on other Far Cry games. However, now a few years later, I have to say that Far Cry 4 is something unreal and that even Far Cry 3 does not reach it. In the third volume, the extremely cool villain is Vaas Montenegro, who is aYou see... Far Cry 3 has always been my favorite game in the series. I played it for the first time some 5 years ago and I really enjoyed it and it set my mind on other Far Cry games. However, now a few years later, I have to say that Far Cry 4 is something unreal and that even Far Cry 3 does not reach it. In the third volume, the extremely cool villain is Vaas Montenegro, who is a slightly unstable mad pirate leader. Here again we have the diplomat Pagano Mino, who solves it all with the help of the army and does not rush into any major fights. They are different and that's what makes it so that I don't feel like I'm playing the same game again. The third and fourth parts are not far from each other. Ajay is not bad and the character and the surrounding characters like Amita and Sabal are believable, which I won't talk about hurt me once :D the weapons here are just right for me and I played a large part of the game on Stealth with a bow or a pistol with a silencer anyway. The map is untouched and original. The snowy Himalayas are absolutely beautiful and you enjoy every second of this place. In addition, the game seemed much better optimized, which increased the experience even more. The towers are twice as much fun here as in the trio. This is partly due to the grappling hook and partly due to how well they are made. It's not enough to just jump up the mountain like in Jump King. Here you have to use a grappling hook, sometimes break something, climb over, etc. The open world label is not just for the ass either... The game has a huge open world where you can hunt, climb towers, occupy outposts or complete Campaign or side quests. The story here is extremely personal and that makes it an unforgettable moment. And the hallucinogenic sequence Oh my god I love it. A couple of decisions in the story is also great, we can slightly influence the story, even if only slightly, because there are 4 or 5 endings and only one of them turns out well, and that's the one when you finish the game in 13 minutes xD. I would say that it is basically an upgraded third part that does everything better except the story. However, no game is flawless, so I can criticize the Czech subtitles, which are only half-complete... When they are already here, the entire game should have been translated, not just the subtitles for the dialogues. But overall, the game was an absolutely incredible Masterpiece that everyone should play. + Pagan Min + planting + Himalayas/map + Story campaign + New mechanics + Ability to make decisions + Optimization - Half Czech subtitles… Expand

    Far Cry 4 is a good game. It has a few annoying features and the occasional bug, but the gameplay is solid and the characters are interesting. There are also a lot of collectibles.

    Best Far Cry game out there. Even if the gameplay and graphics aren't the big hit, the world is just beautiful and interesting. And Pagan Min is a haunting enemy. Overall rating: 8.7.

    It was pretty decent. I mean I don't like the tower system and I am glad they didn't bring that annoying system into another far cry system

    Fun far cry game. Perhaps played it at the wrong time as I was getting a little tired of the far cry formula by the time I started playing after playing 3 other far cry games already. However feels wrong to lower score due to that

    Prosek. Još jedna tipična Ubisoft igra. Ogromna mapa, koja svakako izgleda lepo, pogotovo za igre iz tog doba, pomešana sa generičnim misijama i dosta lošijom pričom u odnosu na treći deo. Pa još na sve to, neiskorišćen potencijal velike mape: imam utisak da se igra odvija na 30-40% mape.     Despite the ambiguous non-linearity in the plot and a rather mediocre ending, this game can still surprise you with good gameplay, a charismatic villain in the face of Pagan Min, as well as stunning graphics at that time.

    Far Cry mais fraco que zerei. O "vilão" nem vilão é. O mais excêntrico na minha opinião da saga, mas é o menos marcante. O jogo tem algumas coisas legais, mas em geral é bem mais fraco que o antecessor.

    Me esperaba mas del juego, es un juego que esta bien, además que lo he jugado a 60 FPS en Xbox Series X, es muy disfrutable pero se me hacía algo repetitivo y la toma de decisiones apenas afectan a la historia. De todas formas me he divertido mucho.

    The best part of the series for me. It is similar to Far Cry 3, but with a much more interesting and varied world and as for me the best plot in the series, shooting feels better (of course, in FC 5 it is cooler, but FC 4 has more advantages). If you haven’t played yet, I recommend that fans of the Far Cry series read it.

    Une suite au très bon Far Cry 3, on achète les yeux fermés… surtout que le moteur Dunia est bien plus à l’aise sur la One que sur la 360 et de loin… un beau jeu en monde ouvert assurément encore plus grand… voire carrément trop grand (la folie des grandeurs, comme d’habitude) et ce, malgré une fluidité encore imparfaite (seulement du 30 im/s sur console, rappelons-le…). On y retrouveUne suite au très bon Far Cry 3, on achète les yeux fermés… surtout que le moteur Dunia est bien plus à l’aise sur la One que sur la 360 et de loin… un beau jeu en monde ouvert assurément encore plus grand… voire carrément trop grand (la folie des grandeurs, comme d’habitude) et ce, malgré une fluidité encore imparfaite (seulement du 30 im/s sur console, rappelons-le…). On y retrouve l’interface de FC3 assez bien fichue et cette jouabilité infiltration ou bourrine selon l’humeur malgré quelques passages imposés, certes. Et puis, bonne nouvelle, on a droit à une vraie VF et non pas une VQ comme dans le FC3 ; la musique est également plus sympathique ; enfin, les maudits QTE ont presque tous disparu…

    Cela étant, l’histoire et ses personnages sont beaucoup moins crédibles que dans l’épisode précédent, non pas que ce soit un point fort chez Ubisoft, que nenni, mais on atteint tout de même ici quelques sommets dans la caricature et la beauf’ attitude. Parfois, le ton hystéro-bouffon est à peine camouflé… sans jamais l’assumer complètement comme dans un Saints Row 3 ou 4 par exemple. Mais bon, c’est pas comme si Ubisoft maîtrisait tous les tenants at aboutissants de ce que l’on appelle « histoire, scénario et dérision » !

    Le nouveau monde du Kyrat est très vertical en tout cas, ce qui s’avère une erreur : difficile à parcourir, la mobilité représente un vrai problème très vite irritant. Les ennemis sont bien plus nombreux et de plus en plus costauds vers la fin du jeu ; là, j’ai des grosses pétoires et toujours l’impression de tirer des balles en carton tandis qu’eux tirent de vraies balles… qui font mouche à chaque fois peu importe la distance !

    Bref, plus j’avance, plus FC4 me les casse, avec toujours ce sentiment logique de « déjà vu » mais en nettement moins bon qu’avant. Trop de surenchère sur les évènements aléatoires, les escarmouches incessantes, les aigles qui viennent te bouffer la tête, les bêtes qui surgissent de nulle part et viennent te bouffer les couilles sans compter les camps déjà libérés qui se font attaquer régulièrement (!?), sans compter ces camions à voler ou détruire, la chasse obligatoire pour débloquer les sacs et les armes et j’en passe… et les putains de tours !

    L’infiltration est devenue bien moins efficace et gratifiante, la faute à des ennemis omniscients et surarmés, bien trop nerveux et hargneux. Enfin, signalons tous ces ennemis qui sont autant d’éponges à balles alors que notre « héros » Ajay pour sa part mange chaud à chaque fois… Ce Far Cry 4 part donc trop souvent dans tous les sens comme s’il était dans une crise d’épilepsie permanente sur des mécaniques de jeu pourtant éprouvées et efficaces… à la base. Ubisoft m’a déçu et je regrette amèrement d’avoir foutu du fric dans ce foutoir très énervant, beaucoup trop agité et désordonné.    … Expand

    Я считаю, что на сегодняшний день это крайняя часть Far Cry, в которую играешь с большим удовольствием, наслаждаясь действительно хорошей картинкой и игровым процессом, не делая никаких поблажек на культовость и прочую исключительность. Я к тому, что тот же Far Cry 3 уже воспринимается не так здорово и скорее всего лично для меня уже отходит в раздел воспоминаний. Что же касается киратскихЯ считаю, что на сегодняшний день это крайняя часть Far Cry, в которую играешь с большим удовольствием, наслаждаясь действительно хорошей картинкой и игровым процессом, не делая никаких поблажек на культовость и прочую исключительность. Что же касается киратских приключений, уверен, что к ним еще не раз вернемся. Что можно сказать о данной части? Про картинку уже отметил тут всё на очень хорошем уровне, игровое действо всё то же - отжимаем территорию у жестокого импозантного тирана Пэйгана Мина, то есть да-да зачищаем аванпосты и более укрепленные крепости, постепенно двигаясь по увлекательному сюжету к желанному трофею в виде головы окаянного фрика. Попутно проходим многочисленные допмиссии к слову достаточно интересные в отличие от притянутых за уши в предыдущих частях. Здесь и освобождаем по стелсу заложников, и отстреливаемся с крыши грузовика из гранотомета при сопровождении груза, выручаем местных жителей от нападения хищников, знакомые радиовышки никуда не делись конечно ну и так далее. И это в большинстве своем действительно увлекательно. Из нового стоит выделить возможность полета на мини-вертолете, что значительно сокращает дорогу от точки до точки и сильно помогает в бою с теми же отрядами смерти Мина, ну и передвижение верхом на слоне, которое тоже вносит новые тактические боевые особенности. А так по сути Far Cry 4 это те же яйца только в профиль, хотя и яйца куда более чем реалистичные чем раньше.… Expand

    Have been a big fan of the Far Cry franchise since the original PC game came out in the early 2000's and yes they have of course had better games than others but Far Cry 4 is the one I keep coming back to. FC5 is great but the constant gratitude from supporting characters becomes such a distraction it becomes quickly annoying. FC4's story, the stunning    The best of them all...

FC4's story, the stunning mountainous region and especially it's charismatic ruthless villain are great fun and the balance between stealth and all out mayhem is perfect. Looking at the trailer for FC6 looks promising but little in terms of the game dynamics seems to have changed which is probably a good thing as the dynamic play since FC3 and polished since FC4 is bang on. Also being able to reset outposts is one of the best features of any game ever. Hope Hurk is in FC6!!!    … Expand

    Far Cry 4 is a good game. Far Cry 4 is a open world game set in kyrat during modern times. The main story is good the side missions and activities are great the gameplay is the exact same as Far Cry 3.

    Kyrat, which is the fictional country where the story takes place is in my personal opinion one of the prettiest I've come to witness. Story is better than what we've had before, and certainly the best in the franchise. It's thought provoking, beautiful and cruel at the same time, and doesn't suffer from the same mistakes it's predecessor, Far Cry 3 did. Pagan Min is an antagonist, thatKyrat, which is the fictional country where the story takes place is in my personal opinion one of the prettiest I've come to witness. Story is better than what we've had before, and certainly the best in the franchise. It's thought provoking, beautiful and cruel at the same time, and doesn't suffer from the same mistakes it's predecessor, Far Cry 3 did. Pagan Min is an antagonist, that makes those of the previous titles, yes, Including Vaas look weak in comparison. The world you're left in, all the characters, it's something I deeply enjoyed when I first completed this game. Even the gameplay, that with time does get incredibly boring, as it doesn't offer any difficulty, and is too simple, is good enough to pass, and let the story and the world take the lead to create for the best Far Cry experience to date.… Expand

    Good game overall, dynamic, big map, numerous (side)quests and those who know the licence won't be lost.
    And that's what makes it a 7 and not a 8 score. For me, it's too similar to Far Cry 3, and though it's still really fun, it looks too much like a copy-paste from the previous one.

    First off, this game does not live up to the hype or even the incredible background the story is set against. This game is not only beautiful in terms of landscape, but also lore and culture. The gameplay and game mechanics are actually pretty great and runs perfect. The major downfall is the lackluster story and weak villain.     It can sometimes feel a little bit like Far Cry 3.5 rather than Far Cry 4, but it's a fun and enjoyable experience nevertheless, particularly so with another player. [Issue#119, p.60]

    One could still wish for a better story, for more choice and consequence in your actions or for an end to the nagging collect-em-up nature of the Ubiworld. But for sheer daft mayhem, this is now the action game to beat.
