A more serious issue is the way Faeria handles losing connection to its servers. It was fine on an excellent connection, but on a weaker service I lost connection almost once per game. In some cases it recovered and I was able to return to play, but there were multiple times when my controls stopped working and I was only able to forfeit the match. This is a technical stumbling block that needs to be addressed. Those issues aside, Faeria is a complete package likely to please both casuals and more serious deckbuilders alike. However, Faeria as an online service isn’t stable without an excellent connection, so buyers approaching it from that angle should beware.

A lot of other CCGs deliver this genre just as well, for free, but Faeria just edges them out by providing so much solo content and infusing a board into play. If you’re likely to spend most of your time offline, then this will be worth the money.

Faeria has its issues with internet connectivity and its slow, difficult matches, but it is also a clever game. In order to win matches the player has to multitask and really understand the game's deep mechanics. This makes for a satisfying CCG game that does quite a bit to separate itself from the pack - but still, many players may find themselves frustrated by Faeria's few prevalent issues, which really do go a long way in souring the experience over time.

This is the only professional online CCG with a pay-to-play model:
You unlock all cards with one-time-purchases, and then collect them ingame. Which alone is a HUGE advantage over all the other pay2becompetitive card games, and makes playing the game a LOT cheaper in the long run!
The controls take a bit to get used to, but then, work intuitively and like a charm!

Quality-wise, Faeria is bursting with content, that can be played alone, vs players and cooperatively, and keep you busy for a long time.
The mechanics are deep and clever, and deep thinking and optimal play are highly rewarded.
And finally, there still is an active online community, that you can play with and against.

This is my favourite card game, and i recommend it whole-heartedly!

There's couple more games like this one actually some are better than Faeria already but it deserves some love for sure. Faeria includes an impressive number of game modes, both single-player and multiplayer. You can see the vibes of HeartStone, Monster Train etc. in this game it looks like so many other games but the good thing about DCC or TCG games is the cards and the strategies are always different so they are never quite the same experience. Aesthetically, the game is quite beautiful, with lots of colorful and painterly pieces of card art and several highly detailed and striking game boards. I love TCG and DCC games a lot if you do here's another one for you to try on your Xbox One console that’s worth your time exploring. Expand
