    The presentation side of the game is absolutely fantastic because both the visuals and sound design create a very realistic F1 experience. There's a lot of content for you to get to grips with and fans of the series will no doubt be satisfied for a long time to come. I really enjoyed the improvements that have been made in this year’s game because both the racing and handling feel more tight and stable this time around. The career mode is without a doubt the best the series has delivered so far and I was very impressed with the level of detail that’s been included in this mode. This game is accessible to all gamers because the assist and difficulty options means gamers of all skill levels can enjoy the game.
    I enjoyed the online components of the game more this year because they’ve catered to my needs much more this time around.The media interactions are a nice little touch there just isn’t enough variety in them so they do end up becoming quite repetetive and tedious after a short while. Does F1 2018 do enough to get a recommendation from me? Last year’s F1 game was without a doubt my favourite game of the series so far and I was hoping that F1 2018 would build on the momentum that was built from F1 2017, and thankfully I’m pleased to say that this year’s game has built on the momentum and then some. In fact F1 2018 is now probably my most favourite game of the series so far and that’s mainly because its made improvements again. The career mode is absolutely fantastic and it has a depth to it that we’ve never experienced before. You’ll be pleased to know then that the racing that accompanies the career mode and every other mode feels better than ever and this does make the racing feel even more rewarding. As far as problems go the game doesn’t really have any and when it’s all said and done if you’re looking for an F1 game that gets as close to the real thing as can be then I thoroughly recommend that you make a purchase of F1 2018.    … Expand

    Don't buy this game if you want to race online. Major desync and developers refuse to address the problem.

    I see a progress from 2017, but it still can't recommend anybody to buy it.
    Improved graphics can't improve enough the most buggy racing game on the market as release was rushed as every season. Old bugs are not fixed and new added, from experience from last 4 years, we can't count with fixes. Multiplayer is still a garbage and nothing improved with the new driver license as drivers are    I see a progress from 2017, but it still can't recommend anybody to buy it.

    Even singleplayer lost the main reason to play in longterm as you can negotiate with top tier teams after few races and they will accept you, so after 4 horrible races in Williams you are gladly accepted to Mercedes. Safety car is broken since it was added to the game years ago.
    AI is blindly stupid and hit you in every occasion.    … Expand

    Really amazing F1 game! Really nice graphics and a very close to reality presentation of the F1 world.Its really a must-have racing game

    La F1 devient de plus en plus bizarre, de plus en plus techno-kikoo-lol mais ça, ce n'est pas la faute de ce F1 2018 qui se contente de restituer les atermoiements du règlement et de ses délires... DRS, ERS ?, parc fermé, 3 ou 4 moteurs pour une saison entière ?... lol ?

    Le mode carrière est fort bien fait en tout cas et devient assez vite un "jeu" de gestion ! malgré ses quelques    La F1 devient de plus en plus bizarre, de plus en plus techno-kikoo-lol mais ça, ce n'est pas la faute de ce F1 2018 qui se contente de restituer les atermoiements du règlement et de ses délires...     Le mode carrière est fort bien fait en tout cas et devient assez vite un "jeu" de gestion ! malgré ses quelques errements, car s'il faut tourner comme un fou en essais libres pour développer (et améliorer) la monoplace, on ne gagne pas grand-chose alors que parallèlement, on use ainsi beaucoup plus vite les composants de la voiture ; à l'inverse, si on ne tourne pas trop, on use moins mais on progresse sensiblement moins vite... c'est un cercle vicieux...

    Quoi qu'il en soit, après avoir baissé au minimum le niveau du plateau, on s'en sort très bien, quelle que soit la façon de jongler avec le développement et ses points de ressource. Bien que ça dépende des circuits et à cet égard, Monaco et Suzuka se révèlent inexpugnables : l'IA est complètement pétée et fonce comme une dingue sur le premier ; quant au second, c'est simplement la bagnole qui se transforme en savonette, même avec les ailerons à fond... de ce point de vue précis, le jeu est foireux.

    Pareil avec les départs : ils partent comme des boulets de canon, même si on dispose de la pole, de la meilleure bagnole du plateau et tutti quanti. Heureusement, on les remet à leur place assez vite mais putain... tout de même !

    Les interviews finissent par lasser au bout d'un temps, vu qu'on choisit à dessein les réponses permettant de booster un domaine précis du développement et peu importe ce qu'on raconte finalement... Les renégociations de contrat régulières sont bien faites mais deviennent là aussi de la routine.

    Le pilotage (on parle d'un jeu Codemasters là...) est dans l'ensemble étonnamment bon et cohérent en dépit de certains soucis de réalisme. Il est étonnant de constater que la caisse part en vrille du cul dans une courbe sans crier gare comme si on venait de rouler sur une plaque de verglas : on dirait un sale bug...

    D'un autre côté; cela est lié à la maniabiilité parfois très erratique à la manette qui ne propose pas tellement de réglages pour y remédier. On peut limiter les dégâts en poussant la linéarité à 50% mais que la precision est déplorable dans ces grandes courbes ! a contrario pourtant, sur bien des circuits et bien des virages moyens ou plus lents, la maniabilité se révèle satisfaisante. C'est à n 'y rien comprendre.

    On pourrait aussi parler de la gestion de la motricité, vraiment curieuse... on est bien sur une Formule 1 moderne là ? car si l'aide à la traction est désactivée, on se croirait sur une F1... des années 60 !

    La réalisation est du reste très soignée, superbe même, avec sa météo dynamique, de la 4K , des temps de chargement réduits et les 60 im/s jamais prises en défaut. Idem pour la partie sonore qui n'appelle aucun reproche.

    Si l'IA est fonceuse, elle reste globalement assez bien élevée même si parfois, elle peut vous dégager sur les bas-côtés. Mais c'est rare et heureusement, le rembobinage est là.

    En définitive, F1 2018 est prenant par son système de carrière bien pensé et de bonnes sensations de pilotage mais se révèle aussi très crispant par les réactions parfois aberrantes de la voiture, sans compter la maniabilité décidément encore très perfectible. Les évidentes qualités sont ici impactées par de gros soucis qui rendent le jeu simplement moyen. Ce qui pour un jeu Codemasters est déjà... une sacrée surprise !    … Expand

    Mi primer juego de Formula 1, aun que creo que es como cualquier otro juego de deporte me es interesante el poder incursionar en esta nueva disciplina.

    I've been playing F1 games since the 2014 edition released and its safe to say that this is the most comprehensive and consistent game there is to offer fans of the sport. The game presentation gets really close to race day feels. The cars handle well and at a difficulty level of 60 it starts becoming a good racing simulator and not an arcade game. On the Xbox one the game manages a smoothI've been playing F1 games since the 2014 edition released and its safe to say that this is the most comprehensive and consistent game there is to offer fans of the sport. The game presentation gets really close to race day feels. The cars handle well and at a difficulty level of 60 it starts becoming a good racing simulator and not an arcade game. On the Xbox one the game manages a smooth frame rate and since day one has never crashed. However I wish the game made some tweaks to the interview system that at times feel like a chore after each event. The other gripe I have is with individual players. I feel their personalities need to be included into the Grand Prix section.… Expand

    Nice new physics and graphic.
    But interview litle bit boring.
    Multi player gave some fun.

    Un buen juego aunque falta contenido, las entrevistas muy malas, el desarrollo del coche muy irrear, bugs en los circuitos, mala tracción y falta de contenido en la trayectoria

    The latest and greatest F1 game for Codemasters roster, with just enough new about it to make it an update from last years. It’ll be a hard push to see what they do for 2019, that’s for sure, but Codemasters have had a long run with the F1 license, and it doesn’t look like they’re keen to stop anytime soon.

    F1 2018, just as with last year's game, is a game worthy of your attention and something fans of the franchise will love. It's stunning to look at, excellent fun to drive in, and the single-player mode has more than enough depth to keep keener players entertained.
