Feb 11, 2015It's fun few hours, but honestly, i can't recommend it at this price. The content is kinda poor and the list of DLCs already available give me an headache. It should have been a F2P, that's a major disappointment.

Feb 23, 2015This game is not fun. It is tedious, it is repetitive and it is uninspiring. This game has more running than playing. It has more DLC than game-play. You can only have any fun unless four or five friends playing and even then the fun is sporadic. Avoid. Don't even rent.

Feb 14, 2015Nice concept of game, but unfortunately that's all it is.
It has good gameplay elements, but it becomes repetitive too quickly
Leveling up system is limited for both Hunters and Monsters and additional DLC is at a premium
Pick it up if it's in a bargain bucket, but not at full price -
Feb 12, 2015I like DLC.Sometimes I want an extra weapon, character or mission.Sometimes I even want a skin. This, however, seems more like an experiment. An experiment to test the limits of a gamers patience. Also how much we will pay for something that should have been already in a game in the first place.I won't talk about the game itself though. It has left a truly foul taste in my mouth...

Feb 14, 2015A boring pile of overhyped horse crap, that will have its player base die faster than Titanfall. Feel free to throw your money away if you must have this game. Feel free to throw even more away with the countless micro transaction options it offers. The fact that IGN scored it 90 should be warning enough. Avoid.

Feb 22, 2015Unfortunately I paid for the expanded deal just to find out how boring it is..Online game doesn't work and I had great expectations from the game..I wasted my money!
i truly still hope the company will do something about it. -

Nov 7, 2017Ok seriously this game just sucks. What is this? What were they trying to create here seriously? Worst game ever. Sound issues. Game issues. Bad storyline. Weapons suck. Characters suck.

Sep 4, 2015This game is lacking in content, incredibly unbalanced, and filled with long dull stretches as you just hide or try to find someone who is hiding. I know a lot of people are marking it down because of the terrible DLC model, but it wouldn't be worth it even if that weren't so terrible.

Sep 9, 2015The game runs at 30 fps with dips. Because of the nature of the game, this is unacceptable. Which is a shame because the concept is great, as are the many loadouts and possible tactics you can experiment with. Who knows, maybe they'll release a "definitive edition" in 1-2 years with the required 60 fps performance it deserves. For now, buy this on PC or leave it be.

Jul 2, 2020My review might be biased due to me not being a fan of online games. Lack of single-player with subpar online mode makes this game a waste of time.

Apr 8, 2015Evolve deserves its time in consumer hands and is a game that should not be so easily forgotten, but it does need some work to regain momentum.

Official Xbox Magazine UKMar 28, 2015Evolve is a a Kraken [sorry] game when it all comes together. But most matches won't have the perfect setup - and it's not always worth sitting through them to get to the good ones. [Apr 2015, p.73]

Mar 22, 2015What could have been an underground smash as a budget download has been spread thin to justify a AAA price, leading to grave concerns about its glacial progression, value, longevity and DLC strategy. Though still utterly fantastic under optimal conditions, Evolve asks far too much for an inconsistently enjoyable experience.
