Mar 22, 2020A master class of how to take everything fun from a game and **** it up. Music, pacing, ammo, glory kills. Covid-19 would have been more fun.

Mar 9, 2022Most tedious, most boring game of the year. Main character is a wimo, who can carry a couple of rounds and thats it. Instead of shooting, we are looking for ammo. Or jump on platforms. How could u screw doom up so badly? I dont belive all this favorable reviews. B must have paid for it.
Gave it a second chance and its 10/10. I was wrong. -
Mar 20, 2020How to ruin a game. It is a real masterpiece but it has no ‘traditional’ multiplayer, which has no sense at all. Battlemode is cool but after 2 days it will bore you.
It is yet another unfinished game: a real shame. -

Mar 25, 2020.... Was fun until it was ruined by jump puzzles. I uninstalled after I died for the 20th time trying to jump from platform to platform. Absolutely the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Who thought we wanted that sort of garbage?! Amateurish at best.

Mar 21, 2020Solid combat in this title is tainted by questionable mechanics and needless platforming sequences. You can have fun with this game but you'll have a lot of heartache with it too. No where the game that DOOM 2016 was.
-
Mar 18, 2021This game is so tiring compared to the first part, they took everything that was fun and added a lot of annoying mechanics.

Jun 6, 2020It is the worst Doom I could hope for. This is not Doom, it's like a mixture of Super Mario and some FPS. I bought this game thinking it would be a game like Doom 2016. I was wrong.

Mar 20, 2020No death match. That wasn’t clear when I preordered.
I was expecting death match alongside the new gimmicky multiplayer mode. I missed an update to multiplayer from the 2016 Doom that was fun with my three friends.
The 2v1 mode doesn’t really work for our group. -
Apr 5, 2020Doesn't play well on consoles, to fast and too much going on to be playable with a controller.

Mar 20, 2020I don’t understand how THIS simulator of piano and ammunition collection can be called DOOM.
No fun, no fun action game, you just run around and try to **** find bullets while the ****ing chainsaw is on cd.
Absolutely unnecessary puzzle games that break the pace of the game, inadequate number of bugs and softlocks for AAA games. -
Jul 23, 2020platforming aspects ruin the game but the shooter aspects are fun. the game seems roughly 50-50
-
Feb 2, 2021bad game even in easy mode very nice difficult, unclear or even no hints what to do. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Apr 10, 2020The only thing good is the campaign. The only multiplayer which is Battlemode is wet garbage that’s why I’m rating it so low.
-
Jul 21, 2020It was alright, not as good as the first one, felt very repetitive and not that fun.

Mar 22, 2020I'll leave Doom Eternal to eternity.
This game is a FPS on amphetamines combined with MDMA.
Nice for all the ADHD kids, but for me, unplayable.
Engine is awesome, credits to you iD Software.
But please stop making games, you suck at it, and you have been since Doom 3. -

Apr 13, 2020It may not reach the sublime heights of its predecessor, but Doom Eternal is bursting at the seams with hellacious action.
-
Apr 4, 2020An absolutely spectacular game, and one of the early highlight games of 2020. Doom Eternal will make you think as you kill, pushing your mind to its limits. That’s not a bad thing. It’s the perfect trip to hell.

Apr 2, 2020Doom Eternal is an outstanding entry in the series marredby a few setbacks. There is a ton of content including one of the best shooter campaigns I have played this generation. The push and pull method of the combat is addictive to master and a blast to play. Everything looks and sounds fantastic and this is a game that makes me smile as a fan since the beginning. While the generation may be coming to an end, Doom Eternal is one of the games that will send it off with a bang.
