you can beat the game in less than 2 hours
    But i can't say that I didn't had fun sometimes so I'll give it a 4/10

Puzzles are fun, storyline can be skipped- seems the pretentious twee storyline took precedence over the gameplay and so the whole thing can be finished in 2-3 hrs (depending on how much you skip through the story). A fun but brief distraction.

Let me get this clear: this game is not funny, the idea is not new (same concept -but done better- has been used in many mobile game for many years now), the art style is not appealing, the “funny conversations” are boring and annoying.
So overrated by the “gaming press”.

Donut County is a pretty simple puzzle game that has a lot of charming and fun puzzles, but won’t strain your brain to complete. While I had a great time with the under two hour story, I feel like there are a lot more places this game could have gone before it felt repetitive and tired. I find myself wanting more levels and characters to swallow. With a great visuals and sound, it’s pretty impressive that this was made by one person, I just wish he made more.

To go for the lazy metaphor, Donut County is like a delicious pastry. It’s baked with the kind of care you’d only get from a homemade dessert. Maybe they could have been a little more liberal with the jelly filling, but it’s a fantastic treat regardless. Modest yet satisfying, it’s the perfect go-to if you’re craving something sweet.

Nobody should miss the chance to try Donut County, and I hope that if there are new ideas and its creator will give us a sequel.
