Don Bradman 14 on the new generation consoles is a solid upgrade without changing anything that makes the game a great cricketing title.

Don Bradman Cricket is a fine, fine game. As a simulation of a sport, it's right up there in terms of quality.

Developed and produced by the same teams that specialize in rugby league gaming. The graphics are sub-par and the mechanics can be quite difficult to master. The camera angle is the most difficult aspect to grasp. Nonetheless, once practiced, it grows on you. Having a career mode with a 16 year old rookie, to develop and train is always a loved concept in these sport generations of gaming. Full Review »

The reason being is that cricket is a game that takes patience, some matches go for DAYS in real life. This means that picking the game up and playing a match with friends can be more difficult than other games such as FIFA or NBA 2k. Big Ant studios countered this by implementing casual 5-5 games witch can be finished as much as 30 minutes less than the games longest mode, 4 day test match. They came close to perfection with the player career mode. in the career mode you can start as young as 16 years old, starting out with teams from states, counties etc. and working your way up through t20 leagues and finally making it to the international games. The mode has an effective way of telling you how close to achieving a spot in each league. This uses ranking points, you get ranking points after finishing games. The amount of ranking points can vary based on how well you performed in that game. It also has a player creation system, which(in my opinion) is the most advanced in a sports game to date. It also features tour modes and academy modes. Full Review »
