    There are so many games that are lost to the past and have sadly expired with their outdated consoles, hence the many modern 2D platformers that are currently being created to try to fill this void. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King might just be the perfect example of what is truly needed in order to effectively relive those past experiences, back in the days when it took extreme perseverance and commitment to complete these games. For those who just can’t wait to be king… be prepared, for your wishes have just been granted.

    All said this package is definitely a case of what you see is what you get. If you grew up loving these games and have been longing to experience them in multiple facets, this collection is right up your alley. If you never enjoyed them then why are you here? Digital Eclipse should truly be commended for upping the bar on classic game compilations, and if anyone opts not to use them for theirs in the future, I consider it a grave mistake. They take the time and put so much love and care into these things. Let’s keep that trend going. Game preservation so future generations can experience the classics.

    It’s clear that the Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King collection on Xbox One has been made with love. Despite their punishing difficulty, these are two games that have the power to warp us into our favourite Disney worlds and relive classic moments.

    Going into Disney Classics: Aladdin and Lion King I had a good idea of how punishing the game would be along with some classic graphics and sounds. However, with the rewind and auto-play features in the game it made the punishing levels a bit more tolerable, or at the very least, a whole lot less time consuming. With these tweaks, if you haven’t beat these titles as a kid, then you have the tools to do so, and if it’s new to you then you will definitely not have a problem.

    Without any remastering or touching up done on the visuals, not including the best looking and best sounding versions of these games is baffling.

    Unless you still love playing retro video games today, you’re likely to find playing Aladdin and The Lion King an arduous experience. Even if you loved the games as a kid, they’re unlikely to live up to your memories. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King is a nicely presented collection with some nice features, but don’t expect to be blown away by the games.

    Die-hard fans of early 90s platforms have been finding their own ways to play these games for decades, and without a substantial display of additional features, it's hard to point to many reasons to purchase – except if you want a relatively easy achievement completion.

Aladin is one of the great classic platformers from its day and the Lion King is known for its challenging stages. Both of these beloved Disney games are finally brought to modern consoles. The Lion King Features 2 Versions of the console game, and a Mobile version to play. On The Lion King, you control Simba on his journey to claim his rightful place on Pride Rock from his devious Uncle Scar. Aladin contains 2 main versions, 2 mobile Versions, and a Final Cut edition. The Final Cut edition contains all the secrets and has had all the know glitches removed. On Aladin you play as Aladin, trying to save Agrabah from the evil Jafar. The collection also contains a music section, allowing you to play any track from either game! There is also a behind the Scenes section loaded with concept art and things you may not have known about these classics. If you haven't played these two games, you've missed out on incredible action and hours of fun.
