    Devious Dungeons Is another which seems to be a weekly release from Ratalaika Games. It is also a sequel that may actually be better than the original. I had so much fun with it, and it is a lot different then the regular Ratalaika game as well considering the Achievements aren't super easy to grab. You have to actually complete the game, and the game isn't super easy. It is a blast though, and it is loaded with replay value. The levels are random generated so it always feels different. There are also three different characters to choose from who have different weapons and abilities so that adds to the replay as well. You have a Warrior who is tougher, and fights up close. A rogue who is quick and can double jump. He can fight close or ranged. You also have a Mage who does ranged attack. They all level up in three areas hit points, critical, and damage. You can get XP by defeating enemies, finding mini bosses and completing side quests, or by finding Journals in hidden rooms. You can also level up by purchasing weapons, armor, relics, and potions in the shop. They all have different abilities that improve you. The weapons also have element damage like fire, toxins, and freeze. They add additional damage after the first strike..
    There are six different worlds, and they are broke down to 5 areas. Each area has 3 levels, and a boss fight is in the last section. You have to complete 3 levels in a row without death to advance to the next. You will probably play a few levels over trying to level up. You won't mind though because they are never the same. The random generation just makes it always a fresh feeling. Each world has it's own type of enemies, and traps so your always looking forward to the next area.They also have their own unique boss. I loved all the boss fights, they made you think, and plan your attack.
    The Achievements were also fun as usual with Ratalaika games, but not as easy. The game is a nice challenge and I enjoyed that. I also enjoyed the retro look to the game, and feel. The music fit perfectly with this class game feel. This game could have fit perfect among the glory days of the NES,SNES,and Genesis. I just think it was really well developed, because it delivers a ton of replay value even though it's a six dollar game. You can't really ask for more than that.

    If you enjoyed the first one, then sure, you may enjoy Devious Dungeon 2. Just know that it very much feels like the same game.

    Much like its predecessor, Devious Dungeon 2 provides a simple yet entertaining rogue-lite adventure that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Sadly, a few poor design choices from the first game have carried over, but in the face of its improvements, these niggling flaws are fairly easy to overlook. In summary, if you enjoyed what came before, you’re bound to find some value here.
