    Can anybody remember the PS2 game Downhill Domination? Well I certainly can and to say I had many enjoyable moments with that game would be a massive understatement. It’s a shame then that there hasn’t been any other game’s really like that over the years, that is until now. It’s a shame then that there hasn’t been any other game’s really like that over the years, that is until now. The game in question that has delivered to me just as much enjoyment as the aforementioned Downhill Domination is called Descenders and it’s just released into Xbox’s Game Preview Program. You wouldn’t think it though because there isn’t too much wrong with it already. Riding around on your bike at insane speeds feels absolutely awesome and I was very impressed with the bike physics. I was also impressed with the controls in the game. The controls feel great and hold up really well throughout your time with the game, which is great because obviously this is a very important aspect in a game like this. In fact when it comes to the problems the game has there isn’t a great deal. It does suffer with a few technical issues every now and then but that’s to be expected in the game’s early stages. These problems though are very easy to look past, so there aren’t any game-breaking issues thankfully. In terms of content there isn’t a great deal for you to sink your teeth into yet and I would like to see some online multiplayer options in the future. I will say though that the content that is here has been done very well and the best thing is that it has a decent amount of variety. This variety is present a great deal in the tracks you can race on and the added bonus is that they allow you to have a lot of freedom when riding as well. If you like changing the look of your character and other things then you will be pleased to know that there is a lot of variety present here as well. This without a doubt gives the game a lot of replayability because when you complete a level you end up unlocking new items which definitely makes the game have a rewarding feeling. Another thing that’s very rewarding is the presentation side of the game. I must admit that I was very impressed with the visuals and sound design in the game because the amount of immersion that’s created from the visuals and sound design is absolutely brilliant. At the end of the day I’m extremely excited to watch Descenders grow over the coming months because the main aspects of the game are already very good and with more content and a few issues removed I can see this being a game I enjoy for a very long time. Those of you who have never purchased a game in the Game Preview Program before should definitely make this one of the first games you do purchase in the program.… Expand

    Pretty fun. Music is great, I was vibing through it.

    Only con is the graphics. A lot of pop in, however youre going very fast at times so it's understandable. It is an xbox one game after all.

    This is a brilliant indie game. People knock it for being on Game Pass, but without Game Pass I would never have discovered this gem of a game

    Good Game. Hard to get good at like rocket league, should be lower price though like 10 to 5 dollars.

    Game is awesome!!! I could play it for hours on end. The only thing I think that would improve the game is better multiplayer and more modes. The replayability is endless the tracks are always diffrent and you always feel like you have something to work towards! Game is awesome!!!

    La daube indé du jour est une daube à VTT bien moche et c’est peu de le dire ! on dirait un jeu PS2 bien dégueulasse ! et ça charge d’ailleurs un peu trop longtemps sous le prétexte des niveaux procéduraux… Encore un truc bricolé avec deux mains gauches et programmé avec le cul.

    On aimerait baisser le volume ou plutôt fermer sa gueule à la musique d’ascenseur qui nous agresse mais on ne sait pas où ces branques ont planqué les options (dans leur fion je présume ; mais l’ayant relancé des mois et des mois plus tard, je tombe enfin sur l’option adéquate ; je suppose qu’une mégachiée de patchs a eu lieu- on peut donc enfin fermer sa gueule à cette pisse musicale).

    Ils veulent comme d’habitude dès le début nous saoûler avec leur entraînement, ces putains de figures et de combos à enchaîner et comme dans un jeu de motocross, on dérape avec le stick droit et on doit gérer les cabrioles avec le même stick également… mais de toute façon, les commandes sont trop nerveuses et imprécises, les sauts sont imprécis, les réceptions sont imprécises, les sensations inexistantes… et ça ne tourne qu’à 30 im/s seulement…!

    La soit-disant « Campagne » consiste en un lot d’épreuves qui se ressemblent toutes et varient fort peu et si on se casse un peu trop la gueule, c’est retour à la case départ, c’est-à-dire au tout début de la « campagne » ! de toute façon, c’est vraiment trop laid ce jeu PS2, alors je désinstalle l’étron et je tire la chasse par dessus.    … Expand

    Pari pas évident d'allier Rogue like et simulation de VTT, pari réussi ! On y prend vite gout, on commence et recommence, on chope des bonus, des niveaux avec des boss inventé en mode tout terrain, plutôt marrant, sans timing dégueulasse comme beaucoup de jeu vélo ou motocross, là on va a notre rythme, graphiquement pas top mais le principe ne réside pas dans la performance graphique !

    Love the game, not played a mtb game like this before, just hoping for some decent updates to add additional content, would be happy to pay for DLC on this. Some additional tunes to listen to would also be welcome!

    This game is actually surprisingly fun and it is one of the better games on the Xbox game pass. The environment, music, and obstacles create a chill experience for you to relax and just game.

    Descenders é um ótimo jogo. É complicado zerar as duas campanhas completamente, mas é uma experiência que vale a pena, é uma gameplay bastante divertida, cada mundo tem algo de desafiador pra aumentar a dificuldade. As fases chefe apesar de serem "injustas" te fazem cada vez mais se automelhorar pra tentar vencer.

    Não é nada de espetacular, mas é um ótimo jogo, que é diversão garantida.    Descenders é um ótimo jogo. É complicado zerar as duas campanhas completamente, mas é uma experiência que vale a pena, é uma gameplay bastante divertida, cada mundo tem algo de desafiador pra aumentar a dificuldade.     Très bon jeu qui permet une très grosse marge d'amélioration. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas plus de tutoriels pour progresser, ce qui m'a forcé à chercher des astuces sur Internet

    If you’re into mountain biking, enjoy games that are a bit different, or simply want a bit of a challenge then Descenders is a game you need to be paying attention to.

    Descenders just left its early access stage, and now we have a very promising core that players can start to enjoy. Thanks to its procedural nature and arcade design it’s pretty much endless, but we hope the developers keep adding more diversity and options to the experience.
