There is a decent variety of modes for you to get to grips with and this does make the game fun when played for short periods. When played with friends the game can be fun and hugely unpredictable which in turn means that no game ever plays out the same way. There isn’t really much in terms of single player content available to you and the content that is avaliable isn’t very fun. It has a few decent modes for you to play I still think that the game is a little overpriced for what you get. You can’t play the game for too long because it does get repetetive very quickly and in the end things do start to become tedious. In terms of co-op game’s it doesn’t really do much to make itself stand out from the rest of the crowd and this does make the game less desirable. Can you remember the mobile phone game called Snake? If not then I’m probably showing my age. Snake was basically a game where you would have to keep eating things to improve your score but if you hit one of the sides then it was instant game over. It may not sound very good but it was hugely addictive and fun. Deadliners has a style that’s similar to that of Snake but at times it does fail to capture the fun factor a little bit like Snake used to do. Don’t get me wrong this game can be really fun when played with your friends and I did like the neon style presentation that accompanied the gameplay, but unfortunately this still didn’t stop me from becoming bored really quickly. It doesn’t help that the game doesn’t have much in terms of single player content as well and even though there’s a decent variety of modes to work through I still think the game is a little overpriced. Deadliners then probably doesn’t do enough to get a solid recommendation from me but in its defence I will say that it isn’t a bad game, it’s just for me it didn’t have enough pull to keep me coming back for more.
