  • Summary: Dead End Job sends you into a madcap, wacky world to bust up ghosts. It’s a procedurally generated, couch co-op, twin-stick shooter that straps a vacuum pack to your back, and puts a plasma blaster in your hand. For you, it’s just another day in the office.

Somehow the game doesn’t get boring even when repeating the same levels (because they are never actually the same, they’re random). If you’re after the usual horror games for Halloween this will not give you that craving. However, if you’d rather just have some casual fun within the spirit of ghosts, then you can at least play this on the side.

Dead End Job on Xbox One is colourful, wacky and a huge amount of fun.

If you’re a twin-stick or roguelike fan, Dead End Job is worth a look, even if it’s not perfect and does suffer from repetitiveness quite quickly. While I enjoyed my time with Hector busting ghosts, it’s a fun little title to play on a long weekend with its variety of enemies, items and levels. A completely serviceable title that fans should be able to sink a few hours into before moving on from their dead end job.

Dead End Job is fun fast-paced action top-down shooter which tests your reflexes and patience. The story is a bit vague, but the character styles are quite detailed and disgustingly fun to look at. It is quite easy to lose some time into playing through this even though the game doesn’t vary too much. But there are enough different enemy types, items and job perks which keep the game interesting.

Dead End Job does manage to simulate that feeling of a ponderous, repetitive crappy job thanks to its grindy nature, questionable furniture placement, and not-quite-permadeath respawn system. The variety of goofy ghosts to bust and beefy amount of levels are the high points and for a cheap thrill, you could do worse—or a lot better.

Dead End Job- If you’re looking for a better graphics quality indie arcade 3rd person shooter, then you’re looking at the perfect game forDead End Job- If you’re looking for a better graphics quality indie arcade 3rd person shooter, then you’re looking at the perfect game for you. The game is based around a being of monster of some sort clearing rooms full of ghosts to eventually avenge and bring his friend back to life. The mechanics of the game are smooth and fluent. The game is very similar to Ghost Busters, because he uses a gun and after the enemies are disoriented you use a vacuum to suck them up. Overall it’s an enjoyable game especially if you’re looking to start playing arcade 3rd person shooters.

+ After you elongate enough enemies you earn upgrades and promotions on the game to ultimately make it easier for you
+ You may choose from 3 difficulties on your first time playing after completing you may select the hardest game mode.
