Jun 2, 2017Deformers is a bouncy, fast-paced and addicting game. When you get your friends together, virtually or physically, you're almost guaranteed to have a blast. The issues start to rise when you look at the ranking system and Form Ball's ability to provide competition. If you have friends over often or play online with them regularly and don't care much for leveling up or ranking up, this game might be worthwhile. If you are looking for a new competitive online multiplayer game, it's not quite there, especially given that there are not many people playing online.

May 2, 2017Ready at Dawn brings us a game focused only on the online mode, full of fun and addiction. The game has constant connection errors in the matchmaking as a negative point. The initial content is insufficient and, after a few hours, it becomes boring.

May 23, 2017Ready at Dawn has made an incredible game in the past, but Deformers won’t be their crowning jewel. Gameplay is incredibly basic but the content within is severely lacking with only a handful of maps and 3 very basic modes, one of which is a knockoff of a currently popular game from a completely different genre. If some new and interesting modes were added for free and the matchmaking actually worked, then I could see Deformers being a fun time waster. As it stands now though, the cuteness and squishiness of the characters isn’t enough to justify the asking price when the core premise of online multiplayer doesn’t even work properly which the gameplay revolves around.

Apr 24, 2017Ready at Dawn took a fun concept and churned out a rather average game. The gameplay itself is good, but little content and meaningless progression make it unappealing. New multiplayer modes and additional features in the future could improve it with the proper support, but Deformers lacks any real hook in its current form. It’s hard to recommend Deformers to anyone when it costs $30 and is packed with insufficient value to warrant that price.

May 14, 2017A nice idea, spoiled by too-little content and an overly high price. Several weeks after its launch it's almost impossible to find anyone to play with, and for an online-only game this is a huge problem.

May 26, 2017Don’t bother yourself with Deformers; it’s too pricey, sparsely populated, and not really fun to play anyway.

May 12, 2017An idea that's too simple. It's pretty, but the gameplay isn't perfect. In a game like that, this is the most important. It has a lot of customization options, but only three game modes. Too expensive and almost impossible to find a match.
