    Players won't be fighting over in game resources, players will be fighting over servers. This game had so many servers, yet they are always full. I had no choice but to use a community server, and I spent 5 minutes going into house. They were all looted, but eventually I found a rifle. I found some zombies and did my best to avoid. One them found me and I entered a house and locked the door. The zombie got in though another way. However, when I shut the door, my rifle disappeared completely. I had to use my fist. My attacks didn't land. I decided to run. However, the zombie keep hitting me even thought I was 10 yards away. After that I shut off the game. I got this though Xbox game pass, and that's the only reason you should check this game out.… Expand

    Absolutely stupid. I started aying again since keyboard and mouse use was allowed... I had good loot, started getting attacked by a dude with a crow bar and couldn't switch to my gun using my hot key because there was something in my hand... Unistalled the piece of **** game until they fix that issue... Simply drop or swap whatever is in your hand when you press the hot key.

    Ive purchased this game last month, and i can say this game is the wrost game ive ever played in my life. its hard to find any good loot, helicopters arent spawning, keep kicking me out the room, constantly gain hunger after 8mins tops. I have a xbox 1 the maps suck and evrything about this sucks i wish to get a refund because it is not fair that the PC players get more loot, and etc thatIve purchased this game last month, and i can say this game is the wrost game ive ever played in my life. its hard to find any good loot, helicopters arent spawning, keep kicking me out the room, constantly gain hunger after 8mins tops.     This game is absolutely horrible. Bad gameplay, poor controls, poor graphics, and poor character models. I can't remember the last time I played a game so bad. Don't waste your time or money on this.

    Great concept and I was really excited to play despite the bad reviews. Servers take forever to join, combat is atrocious and buggy, and despite watching and researching a couple hours of tips, unable to find food or drink no matter how busy the server. I understand it's a survival game but I can never find any food or drink anywhere even on Zombies. The game needs a major overhaul beforeGreat concept and I was really excited to play despite the bad reviews. Great game but damn near impossible to survive in easily supplies are low and limited and extremely frustrating to play within the first thirty minutes 14 deaths at least because of supplies the first few times that I was able to live I died from hunger or thirst because of how scarce things are would be a good game otherwise… Expand

    This game plays like it is half built. It has control glitches, rendering issues and a horrific item system, that frequently glitches causes perma death for your character. I am surprised they can legally sell it. Anyone saying anything nice is likely to be a bot. Avoid this game, it is wasted money

    Perhaps the worst game to exist on the Xbox at the end of 2020. It has existed for YEARS and has not changed. Loot is rare, finding good loot requires hours of playing a buggy running simulator. It is an entirely tedious game that requires hours of patience that the game refuses to reward. It is a constant battle to have enough food, unless you take in what feels like 10,000 calories perPerhaps the worst game to exist on the Xbox at the end of 2020. It is a constant battle to have enough food, unless you take in what feels like 10,000 calories per day, you will starve. Finding other players will always result in your death, as anyone who plays on official servers already has a base and the right loot to defend it. That, or they will simply snuff you out if they so much as hear a gunshot from across the map. Low player count official servers will not spare you. If you haven't been playing since launch, don't play! Don't bother with community servers, as nobody even bothers to join them. The PvP is abysmally unbalanced, and the PvE experience is wholly terrible, with no redeeming qualities to make up for how bad the rest of the game is. Avoid this game at all costs. As somebody who has reinstalled this game on and off since launch on Xbox, it is clear that the Devs do not care about the game. There is no way to play this game unless you dedicate all of your patience to it for years on end. Despite giving it my best shot, and reserving all of the patience that I possibly can each and every time, frustration will find a way to mount. Be it incurable diseases that prevent you from eating, drinking, and/or causing shivering and laughing, no-life players who can kill you with one well placed stealth shot after hours of looting, this game will find a way to piss you off. Do not let it into your life for one second.… Expand

    Genuine moments of survival-themed gameplay enjoyment spoiled by game-breaking bugs and glitches. This is very often unplayable however myself and 2 friends struggled through the ever present bugs and glitches in the hopes that we could realise this game's potential.
    After hours of progress ruined by bugs completely out of our control we could tolerate it no longer - in    Massive let down.

    This has to be one of the worst games of all time. Yeah i got killed really fast, and probably there's a learning curve but this is just awful, the map it's terrible, zombies are annnoyng more than sacary and you run like an idiot.

    You know that feeling when you can’t wait to play something you’ve been so excited about, but you fast discover that it should have been left alone? I’ve just had that with DayZ on Xbox One.

    Those who are fans or like the theme of extreme survival and have time to play many hours, will find a good title beyond the bugs. However, those who don't enjoy many hours of play or just don't spend much time on a single game will find the title quite slow.

    DayZ is a game of constrast: you love it or you hate it, there is no middle ground. Bohemia Interactive have managed to improve the game, but they haven't in other aspects, especially in the technical part. However, as a survival game DayZ is extremely tense, exciting and hard. Playing with friends improve the experience, but is enjoyable standalone as well.
