Jun 29, 2016The only reason this game is remotely good is because it is part of the souls series. Everything they added that was good they took from earlier games, and everything that was in earlier games that is still present, they made worse. Bad game if it wasn't part of the souls series

Apr 16, 2016I hate it that you can put 2 hours of work grinding for souls, only to be killed and lose everything you work for. That has happened 5 times and i'm done. Plus, the game isn't fun. Nothing makes me want to play it if I just end up screaming at the top of my lungs because one mini boss kills me 27 times. I won't recommend this game to new players. I'll be returning this game, and fast.

Sep 2, 2016If you're tired of hand holding and "hard" difficulty settings that feel cheap with artificial AI increases, look no further than the Dark Souls series. You will die, a lot. But when you finish the game you will have a feeling like no other. This game looks and runs amazing on the XB1.

Apr 12, 2016If you like dying over 20 times to figure out a boss fight fight pattern then I guess this game or any Dark Souls game is for you.
Normal common gamers need not apply to this game. -
Jul 8, 2016Awful game. Never played such a frustrating and limited game. Marketing is very misleading. This is not an RPG that it is made out to be. Owned it for 1 day and returned it.

Official Xbox Magazine UKMay 29, 2016FromSoftware have improved and refined an action-RPG series without parallel. Essential. [June 2016, p.77]

May 25, 2016One needs a certain disposition to appreciate Dark Souls III – a willingness to face setbacks and challenges and then overcome them. Don't expect to play this just like any other action-RPG. If you're going to play this game, it must be on its own terms and as it's meant to be played. That patience will be rewarded with a masterpiece, easily one of the best action and role-playing games of the year.

Apr 29, 2016An excellent final chapter for From Software's series, keeping all the best elements from previous games and forging them in a fresh and new experience. Sporting the best bosses in the series, Dark Souls III confirms itself as one of the most challenging and rewarding games around.
