Game is fairly easy even on "Very Hard" which i play. AI is pretty ez to fight - run around columns, etc.

There is a bug? with certain tech talent and vending machines which gives infinite money

Some parts of he game are very "on rails" and should have option to skip the second play-through.

Some builds are insanely overpowered (mantis blades)!!!

Lots of sex, **** prostitutes, etc

The game is quite buggy *(Updates seem to be making improvements), however the core game is really good. Were it not for the bugs I would rate it 8.5-9.5 (I have other qualms but that is true of any game). However, you cannot deny the bugs are there and annoying. That said, I still enjoy the game, so slightly above neutral seems appropriate.

Where No Man's Sky failed to deliver fundamental aspects of their game as promised, and Andromeda was buggy with content that was not very compelling or deep. This is more akin to Fallout 3 or 4, where there are many bugs, but the game is engaging, immersive, and has fantastic depth of story, characters, and universe (probably more than Fallout 4). Do I think this is an acceptable state for a game to be released in? No. But I am also not going to say we should abandon hope for it yet.

I recommend you buy this game on PC. However, if you want to buy the game on a console (or already own it) you could wait for the next generation release, or the game to have its bug fixed.

That said, if the game is still of interest and if you can be patient and navigate the bugs, Right now the game is largely playable (on Xbox One S or X), and some of the bugs will give you a laugh.

    The Pros:
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most immersive games I have ever played. Night City is brimming with such detail that it's just pure joy to be in this world. From the towering skyscrapers and roadways that encase the streets of the city, the mountains of trash just outside the city limits, the shady alleys ways that feel like they could lead anywhere, and the diversity of each of Night City’s districts, cyberpunk’s detailed world is by far the best part of the game. This is coupled with great character interactions in the story. While the story itself is solid but didn't blow me away, the character interactions do. The characters are so interesting and show a wide range of emotions. The performances are truly great with of course the notable Keanu Reeves as Johnny SIlverhand. Even the main character V, while not the most unique protagonist, has enough emotion and character to be notable even in this RPG. Speaking of RPGs, another great thing about this game is its character progression. From the copious amounts of skills, weapons, clothes, and of course cyberware to choose from, the amount of builds for V are truly varied. And the mission design helps to make your build standout, although running and gunning may be the more basic option (more on that in con’s) it all still feels satisfying in the moment to moment gameplay.
The Cons: While cyberpunk is one of the most immersive games I have played, immersion is nothing without engamment. Because while immersion can bring you into a world, engagement is what makes that world feel alive, and this is where cyberpunk really slips up in my opinion. While missions themselves can be quite engaging, the open world itself is anything but. The main issue is NPC’s. The NPC’s in this game feel completely lifeless, reacting in the most artificial and bizarre ways. For example, in one part of the game I snuck up and killed an enemy stelathly. For some reason, everyone in the building I was in began crouching and huddling, even though they were nowhere near where I made the kill. It's things like this that make the world feel less like a city and more like an amusement park. Beyond the citizens of the cities, the gangs also feel artificial as well. You see, in the game you're a mercenary that takes jobs around the city. A lot of these jobs require you to interact with the different gangs. The issue is that no matter what you do, gangs don't respond to your actions. You can massacre an entire gang in the game and they wont do a thing. I really think this game needed a faction system or something, because without it the games world has no dynamic impact at all, making the open world of this game feel pointless. And to further this is the comically bad cops system. While in other open world games like Grand Theft Auto cops would give chase and hunt you down, in this game they don't. They just spawn out of thin air wherever you are, making the whole system disappointing. All these issues I have said take what is an detail and immersive world into a static theme park that barely reacts to the player and serves no use. Another issue is the level design. The thing is, the level design is really good, but if you go in guns blazing you completely miss out on this level design. It really only works from a stealth standpoint, making my katana wielding character get quite reptious after a while, where a stealthy character feels way more satisfying. Another issue is, of course, bugs and performance. I was playing this game on my Xbox One S, and while the game was playable for me even with frame rate drops and the bugs, I can not excuse other players' experience with this game on the base xbox one. For some people this game is unplayable at launch, and that simply can't be excused.
Conclusion: Cyberpunk 2077 is one part of the most immersive games I have ever played, with a detailed world and characters. And the other part is one of the most buggy and shallow open world games I have played. In my opinion this game should have either spent more time making the world interactive and giving it a reason to exist or ditched the open world design in favor of more intractable hub levels similar to Deus Ex, because honestly the best parts of this game where interacting with characters in these amazing levels and building my character. Everything else, the open world and NPC’s just felt lifeless and useless. In my personal experience, I would give this game a 7/10, with the possibility of an 8/10 if itn the future the developers can add to and fix this game. But also considering the near unplayable nature for some people on xbox one, I have to give this game a 6/10. This game needed way more time to be refined. I do hope though this isn't the end for cyberpunk, because the world that's here I think deserves to be expanded upon and explored more. I hope in the future with expansions and fixes this game can be refined, because the good stuff in this truly deserves to be seen.

I played cyberpunk on the xbox series s. I had a vague feeling. On the one hand, I liked the plot and the story itself, I have not played such large single-player games for a long time, I got pleasure from the passage of this story, but on the other hand, as soon as I moved away from the story missions, I discovered a huge number of bugs, starting from non-loading textures, ending with flying into space from impact on an invisible object. Even a year after the release, there are many technical problems. It also seemed to me that the plot is quite short and after the passage of the main plot, you can note that the world is quite boring and there is practically nothing to do in it, but there are all sorts of robbers who can desente, there are orders from fixers, but this is a drop in the ocean, this is not enough for that to get the game world real. Also worth touching on the player's choice of actions and the consequences of these actions, CDPR made a great emphasis on the non-lability and consequences of the player's choice, but all this turned out to be a big deception, which is very sad for me. In fact, there is a normal choice only at the beginning, in the mission with "Malstrom" in which the developers demonstrated various ways of passing this mission, unfortunately there are no more such missions, the choice that players give to the players does not affect anything, and even the ending .... how to say, get out in the finals on your own (those who have passed the game will understand, the roof, Johnny, you understand), which completely devalues the player's choice and creates a bad impression of the game.
In the end, I can say that the best thing in the game is the plot, everything else is done somehow, why did they lie to the players talking about non-existent mechanics, why did they stir up interest in a frankly unprepared game? I'm disappointed, if you still want to go through cyberpunk, then wait at least another six months, or better a year, maybe then they will already fix this piece of code.

I rarely felt like I was in a role-playing game, just a shooter with extra steps. The character creator was (not that it mattered) easy to make a mistake in and there is no way to correct it. It was also a far cry from what was shown in the trailer. The story was...okay, usualy only offering you two options and only rarely multiple dynamic pathways. If you like romance stories, CDPR really over sold those. The combat is often fun for a first-person shooter but nothing that stands out from what else everyone is already playing. Maybe if they fix enough of the bugs the game will be alright. Expand

So many bugs in this game, some game breaking like not being able to draw a weapon, some random deaths, I got on a bike it did nothing, I got on the bike next to it , rode for about 50 meters before it blew up and I flew to the outer edges of the badlands in what must have been a nuke exploding. Not being able to select different dialogue options and having to go with the first one, the bugs are endless much like the area of Night city, there are many things you can do but probably wont, like scanning and hacking, yeah you can do it but why when you can just run in slash evertyone with a sword and be out again in 2 minutes with another bag of cash, you might want to go the non lethal route but with a sword you say, there is an eye implant that turns all your weapons to non lethal ,not sure what magic they use here but it works, sword no longer dices enemies into pieces. lots of missions are thrown at you and trying to workout what they all are is pretty hard to the point I just used my map and went to the closist one which is not very RPG, Characters in main story are well created although Keanu Reeves still cant act, if you're the type of player that likes to grind for an item then this game will get it's hooks into you as there are hundreds of things to upgrade or buy. Graphics are not Red Dead standard or even GTA V and while its big I'm not sure it's much bigger than watchdogs legion ( I could be wrong ) but that has far more impressive graphics, sometimes it actually looks like it has last last generation roots. Cons: Boring world, boring vehicle action, boring combat, boring loot, ridiculous unforgivable bugs (even as late as 3/22/21) , Keanu’s phoned-in performance, Sopranos-themed voice for the male player character

This game’s hype was legendary. Sadly, it will go down as one the biggest failures of all time, gaming or otherwise. The bugs were annoying and completely unforgivable. It was so bad that now my strategy for all future releases of CD Project Red will be to wait at least 6 months before playing any of their games, if I don’t wait long enough to buy it at a 50% discount.

Bugs aside, I came into this experience expecting something comparable to the Witcher 3. It was not. The main character was not someone I cared about; his companions I had little empathy for. The story and side quests were not captivating. The game itself was interesting enough to keep me moderately entertained for about 10 hours. The final 20 hours were a chore, and I stopped playing for a few months after the 20 hour mark. The only thing I liked about this game were the romance options. The relationship-building via quest chain was more fleshed out than other titles.

The game doesn't feel repetitive and has one of the best storytelling I've ever played. However, the bugs and glitches in this game makes it almost unplayable and will frustrate the hell out of you. I can deal with the flickering of NPC's or having them walk through walls etc., but having your best mods (i.e. special abilities) not working most of the time is ridiculous. CDPR, you’re better than this. Deeply disappointing, after years of excitement we got a shallow, unfinished mess. I’m playing on Series X and have had no crashes or game breaking bugs after 30 hours, but even without the bugs the game is hollow. I’ve uninstalled it and will be waiting until they eventually add life and content. Release now and fix later should not be the normal, especiallyCDPR, you’re better than this. Unfortunately they’ve lost that reputation now. Sad to say but I was genuinely looking forward to this being the highlight of 2020 for me, but hit with this cut content shell was a slap in the face. It gets a 5 for the ‘good looking’ world, story was good from what I played but will not be continuing until we get the game that was advertised. Expand

It’s because of this fun gameplay and this great story that it’s such a shame Cyberpunk 2077 performs like it’s still in alpha.

Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
