    This game is a broken, ugly, pile of trash on all current and next gen systems. I played this on the series x and could not believe how poorly it runs. Launch Xbox one games looked and ran better than this game. I had no hype at all for this and bought it the day before launch based solely on how well the Witcher 3 played and looked on the one x. CDPR launched a broken game knowing the state of the product and then promised refunds that they also couldn't guarantee. The company is trying to save face but their current business practices make them prime candidate for the golden **** award.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is completely unplayable and a horrific experience on my standard day one edition Xbox one. It should not have been released in this state, the fps rate is absolutely awful. I’m aware that it was never going to be the same graphical standard as PC or the new consoles but it should have been better than this. Look at red dead redemption 2 for a game that is absolutely beautiful using the Xbox one hardware. I have send my copy back to Amazon for a refund and will not be buying it again even when they patch it.… Expand

    In the first hour I experienced 2 crashes, frame rate drops to 17. Parts of the tutorial just wouldn't load. The tutoiral would freeze, then it would hurry up and catch itself. The game looks terrible. It's all fuzzy and distorted. Cdprojektred hid this game, lied about this game. You don't come back from this. Your solid reputation is dead and it always will be. This is a permanent stain

    The game will randomly crash and the frame rate is terrible. I play on the Xbox one X so everything loads well, however the game runs worse than a crippled Thomas the Tank engine

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story and the characters are absolutely top-notch. The writing is really well done. Ultimately, this version of the game is buggy beyond belief:frequent crashes, performance issues, +every other issue that is also on pc. This game suffers utter lack of optimization in that regard, as well as in its fundamental systems. Unlike CDPR, I cant just pretend that the RPG element was practically doublethinked away into oblivion. That is something they sold everyone on, and the RPG systems were so shallow (no customization, little meaningful choices, no real differentiation in beginnings, an absolutely lifeless city) that they quietly rebranded it as a "open-world action-adventure" game. What an absolute wasted opportunity to create a game using the Cyberpunk ip (which actually started out as a tabletop rpg, btw). Ultimately, I LOVE the game for the story, yet am actually depressed by what they thought was good enough. They are literally acting as the corps in the story, ironically embracing the ideals of Cyberpunk that were swept by in development.… Expand

    -lots of bugs
    -storyline is virtually non-existent
    - tons of movies that you can't skip and are very irritating, which completely takes away the fun from playing
    -it is unbelievable that people dare to sell such rubbish
    -DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

    Just a disappointment, no customization, the dialogue you choose throughout the game doesn’t even change how it plays out. Lots and lots of bugs and glitches, kicks you off the game frequently, graphics are horrible, looks like a ps2 game. Not what the trailer made it out to be at all. Big false advertisement. They shouldn’t have even released this pos.

    Great example of shady marketing. Multiple features blatantly missing from the game. Many were lied to by CD Projeckt Red Studio. Story is subpar.

    Unplayable cyberjunk. I bought a physical copy so I can’t even get a refund. How did this game take nearly a decade to make. Awful.

    I feel sad and sorry for all the people that have worked very hard on this game. They do not deserve this. They've been pressured, exploited, manipulated and many of them being paid far below what they should have been paid. Whoever is/was in charge at CD Project Sad should be ashamed of themselves. They spent all this time on customizing your penis and pubic hair, and hiding **** all over the map (not joking about either of these) but decided the gameplay wasn’t important at all.     Dont buy this game. it's full of bugs. it seems like youre playing it on alpha state. it will run on max 30 FPS down to 10 FPS. NPC are trash, police doesnt do much. your choices doesnt do much either. its really not worth it. just save your money.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
