Game has a lot of visual bugs, if you can look past this its still a decent game that with time can be improved apon with updates. Playing this on a Series X console. Playing in Performance Mode seems to keep the game at a 60 FPS cap with a few minor dips here and there. v1.06 was played at the time of this review

Awesome game for anyone on a new console, anyone who is on last gen with the classic xbone or xbones will have a pretty bad time with all the lag/crashes/character disfigurement/etc. But at it's heart it's an excellent game with a great story and it's a lot of fun to play.

The substance of this game is very strong. The story is engaging and emotional, the combat is fast-paced and fun and player choice does seem to be meaningfully fleshed out. Despite all this, the technical and performance issues with Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One/S detract from the experience as a whole in a way that cannot be described until you play it for yourself. I am not a computer expert, but the game seems to run at lower than 720p more than half of the time, whilst barely maintaining 20fps. The textures only consistently load when you are in the same area for a long period of time - do not expect to see most textures load in whilst you're driving (especially at high speeds). I have failed multiple side missions because I have arrived at the objective, and the building I've been tasked with dropping a car at, or person I've been tasked with talking to simply have not loaded, instead remaining as loose shapes of colour onscreen, that are not interactable with. All whilst I sit back and think: "I'll just wait here until the textures and world load" until I realise they're never going to. I am not one to think graphics and framerate are everything in a game - Skyrim has remained one of my most played games until this day - but this game is simply unplayable at times on Xbox One/S. Maybe in February, with the announced patches, this game will be worth buying for people without the Xbox Series X/S, but at the moment, it is certainly not. Console players understandably feel very let down by CDPR, and this game has got to be one of the biggest gaming disappointments I have ever experienced. Expand

the game itself is amazing, I haven't played anything so good for a long time. However, the technical condition of the xbox one s version is tragic, frequent drops to 20 fps and sometimes even to 15 fps! ,frequent bugs and a few times I had complete game crash.

The story is a masterpiece, the side quests are as good as the main story if not better, the characters are deep and fleshed out and these are the only reasons I haven't given this game a 2.

I played this game on Xbox One S and it's a complete bugfest. I play early-2000s games all the time so I'm used to games not being visually stunning but **** me did they mess up here. The graphics look like Plasticine until it's loaded properly and the only game that has crashed, frozen and hiccuped more for me is Fallout 4. This game got delayed for 7 months and the only reason the gaming community put up with all the delays was because we believed they were ironing out the kinks in the game but what the **** were they doing all that time?! Twiddling their thumbs, jerking off or bum****ing each other? It had 7 years of development time, exactly the same as RDR2 and that game is a visual and story masterpiece. That game ran perfectly on Xbox One and PS4 with nearly zero bugs and had the same time in development as RDR2. CP2077 had more than enough potential to exceed that. This is the only game I ever preordered and it came out broken despite way more than enough extra time to debug the game.

And despite all that, I enjoyed every single second of this game. As I mentioned before, the story, side quests and characters are perfection. That's the one area that CDPR didn't fail in. If you think you can put up with all the bugs and graphical issues, get it, on offer if you must. If you think that all the bugs and graphical issues will drive you to insanity, get the next-generation console and play it on there.

I really wanted this game to be good but I was rewarded with disappointment. My blind faith in CD Project Red is gone. I worked through finishing it and waited on the second update before my review. This game is semi unplayable and borderline uninteresting could maybe improve to an 7 only time will tell.

Extremely overhyped game. A lot of stuff was cut. Marketing and PR videos was lying... There is no open world you have never seen before (stupid AI and Npc, no things to interact with). Huge amount of the same events (simply to kill some, grab something, etc). No customisation. So, but other stuff like main quest line, additional quest, characters, city in terms of architecture and atmosphere, cars designs (not physics), soundtracks, atmosphere and music is really good. So I really disappointed, Cyberpunk had a real chance to be the game of the year, and not only the year, but we have, what we have... And it’s really sad... And the most awful thing, that CDPR lies to us, about Cyberpunk technical issues, gameplay, open world, etc... So, as for me it’s simply normal game with interesting storytelling, and nothing else...
And on XSX it’s work great, but it’s not a next gen graphics, we will see when it will be optimised for next gen and what will be the difference. So, 7/10

Muchos bugs y crasheos.

Aside from the obvious technical problems this game had at launch (and some that still persist to this day), the story is really something that keeps you wanting more, this game would be a 10/10 (personally) if it had a better launch.
Let's hope CD PR keep improving the game experience with the following patches coming soon, they've done a good job with the last few patches so far so

The gameplay is fine, The story is pretty good, the shooting feels nice, but for me personally, the driving feels floaty like friction just doesn’t exist, and melee combat is godawful because I just can’t seem to hit a damn thing even with auto aim enabled. The Character customisation is ok, maybe even a bit lack luster considering we can’t morph our faces and bodies to really make V like no one else.
The bugs and performance issues are rampant, but CD Projeckt Red has been cracking down on most bug and frame rate issues fast but when I played it, I couldn’t get a stable frame rate worth a damn.
So basically what sums it up is that it isn’t a bad game, just the performance issues and bugs hold it back from being one of the best games of all time. You

Despite its futuristic setting, much of Cyberpunk’s fundamental design feels stuck in the past. Jarring flaws and often questionable gameplay systems hold the open-world back from being something truly spectacular...

This game is beyond buggy and lacks performance.. (even on XSX or PS5..)

The story has pacing issues. Keanu Reeves is mediocre, yet a bad-ass. Judy Alvarez is a nice character, can we get a little more from her character? Same for Panam.

I bought the game for 33$. Buy it when it's at least 20$. That's when I say you got your money's worth.

I played cyberpunk on the xbox series s. I had a vague feeling. On the one hand, I liked the plot and the story itself, I have not played such large single-player games for a long time, I got pleasure from the passage of this story, but on the other hand, as soon as I moved away from the story missions, I discovered a huge number of bugs, starting from non-loading textures, ending with flying into space from impact on an invisible object. Even a year after the release, there are many technical problems. It also seemed to me that the plot is quite short and after the passage of the main plot, you can note that the world is quite boring and there is practically nothing to do in it, but there are all sorts of robbers who can desente, there are orders from fixers, but this is a drop in the ocean, this is not enough for that to get the game world real. Also worth touching on the player's choice of actions and the consequences of these actions, CDPR made a great emphasis on the non-lability and consequences of the player's choice, but all this turned out to be a big deception, which is very sad for me. In fact, there is a normal choice only at the beginning, in the mission with "Malstrom" in which the developers demonstrated various ways of passing this mission, unfortunately there are no more such missions, the choice that players give to the players does not affect anything, and even the ending .... how to say, get out in the finals on your own (those who have passed the game will understand, the roof, Johnny, you understand), which completely devalues the player's choice and creates a bad impression of the game.
In the end, I can say that the best thing in the game is the plot, everything else is done somehow, why did they lie to the players talking about non-existent mechanics, why did they stir up interest in a frankly unprepared game? I'm disappointed, if you still want to go through cyberpunk, then wait at least another six months, or better a year, maybe then they will already fix this piece of code.

Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
